10 White Hat?

Always be the best at what you do. It may seem impossible, hard to follow. But, you always try. Effort matters! Yes, it does. And remember, there is always another brain better than you. Alex was one of the finest white hat hackers, the company ever hired. And, one could say he was the best at what he's doing. But, Alex never stopped. He kept on working, foreseeing a bigger brain whom he may face one day.
White hat hackers usually have a particular modus operandi and ethics. And they are advised not to apply their skills in personal life. Of course, that doesn't happen a lot. A whole lot of white hats already would have placed trackers and interceptors on their closest. But, above all, they're not allowed to go illegal with their skills or help the bad guys with them. One needs a government approved white hat license to even practice on his own. And they keep good track of these approved white hats. If they are ever caught in an act, their license gets debarred, and are marked black hats. There is no coming back from that.
Freelancing is one of the prohibited aspects in this field of work. But, Alex doesn't want to give up any means of income. He gets away with freelancing, without much effort. He considers it as helping people, even though these people turn out to be mostly criminals. Anyways, helping them occasionally gave him a bunch of nasty contacts and buddies, who are ready to repay in any methods.
Alex went over to his laptop, and started hacking the traffic cameras over 18th avenue and Irving street. He got what he wanted. The two thugs were seen bursting out of the library building at 8:17pm. They ran over to a nearby grey van and took off. They were tracked to a building near Fillmore street. Alex took his phone and dialed for a contact named MADARI. This was a real chance for him to sweep Catherine off her feet. Alex always wanted to try something like this. He wanted to convey his heroics and boast his abilities via the thugs.
"Heyy! wassup brother?! Long time, no see", Madari welcomed Alex's call. "I need a favor Madari. And, I'll pay", Alex responded. "Ah! Nah, you don't pay me brother. I owe you big time. Just tell me what you want and you get it" Madari replied. "Glad to hear that brother. I know that you have several contacts of thugs around the area. I need you to identify these two jackasses and bring them in. We have an issue to settle", Alex continued. "I'll send in their pictures immediately". "You got it brother!", Madari replied back and Alex hung up.

A beautiful bright morning it seems. Alex puts his coffee mug down at the table. He need to wear something good today. As per his instructions, the thugs are to be dropped by the library at 10am and they're to apologize to Catherine and him in front of the whole library. Quite a scene. Well, they're not thugs anymore. Gary and Daveman, two idiots who really thought they could get away with women abuse for as much as they want in a city like San Fransisco and where hackers like him, work on crime reports on a daily basis. Alex looked spiffy in his outfit and ready to go. He locked his house and started walking to the library.
"Good morning there!", Alex gave his best smile as he entered the library waving at Catherine. "Oh, Hi! Good morning", Catherine smiled back. He could see her eyes glowing with gratefulness. They chatted for a few minutes, about each of their bruises and how're they doing in life. Then the library door opened again, and Gary and Daveman entered with patched up bruises all over them. Alex saw Catherine go pale. He gestured Catherine to ease up. "We didn't know who you were sir", Gary spoke out to Alex. "We are really sorry for beating you up and assaulting the lady", Daveman tried with his patched up broken nose and lips. His eyes turned teary, trying to cope with all that pain. "Especially the lady! We're sorry ma'am. I would... um...we would never even think of doing this to a lady again", Gary finished the rest of their apology. Alex looked at Catherine again. She was awestruck, switching her gaze from him and the thugs rapidly. "I...I don't know... I don't know what to say", Catherine cringed, blushing all over. Alex waved them out. "So, how about we go out for a coffee today?" Alex did not hesitate and presented it confidently. Catherine couldn't stop from blushing and gave the obvious reply. "Um... Yeah! Ok. Of course"
