3 Chapter 2 - Enter A New Life

"We're finally here!" I said as I turned and turned to get a view of the area.

Ok this is boring. I want to go back inside now. I even went here a week before school starts. Welp, I guess I'll just binge another anime.

I opened the door to my new home and what do I see?

"Ehm... Welcome...?"

"Thank... you?"

- I see a woman in a towel down on the floor holding a curling iron broken in half... Now that's a warm welcome.

"Hello! I'm Yukimura! Yukimura Haruka! Pleasure to meet you!" The almost naked girl introduced herself.

"Ehm... Hey, I'm Fujita, Fujita Akari! Nice to meet you and I look forward to spending my time here with... you...?"

What did I just say? I'm so socially awkward I can't even talk to my new roomate! I sound someone that just moved in with their girlfriend!

"Haha... Nice to meet you! You can just call me Haruka." Haruka chuckled slightly.

She grabbed my hand and shook it.

"In that case, just call me Akari!" I said

"Well, now that that's over with, I'll show you around the house!"

"Uhm.... Ms. Haruka...?"

"Yeah what is it? Also drop the Ms, we're roommates"

"Okay... but ehm..." I covered my eyes and shyly pointed to the still-in-a-towel Haruka

"Oh yeah... I'm naked... Please dont look!" Haruka's face turned crimson red and covered her important parts with her arms.

-After that awkward exchange of words, Haruka finished showing me around the house and left me to my room.

"Man, you have alot of stuff don't you?" Haruka teased me.

"Hahaha... you should see the stuff I got back home. Like my computer is—"

"Huh...? Where's my computer?"

Don't tell me...

"What's wrong?" Haruka worriedly asked me.

"I forgot my computer!" I screamed.

"Wait, so you left it at home? Chill out then." Haruka tried to calm me down.

"You don't understand! I have classified information there!" I quickly got my phone and contacted my parents.

"Hey sweetie! How is it at your dorm? Is it cozy? When can you visi—"

"Mom! I left my computer! Can you send it back?"

I cut my mother off can got straight to the point.

"Why what's wrong? Do you need it for school? School's not for another week sweetie." Mom tried to calm me down.

"Yeah but, I have to do something. Boss is going to kill me." I said defeatedly.

"Oh! You mean that weird book site you upload stories on?" Mom asked.

"Yeah, yeah, I promised a new volume by this week." I said.

"You make stories?" the eavesdropping Haruka whispered.

"Oh that's a very serious pickle. Don't worry honey I'll ask your dad to send it right over!" Mom said to atleast give me hope.

"Thank you so much, Mom! But please don't ever turn it on! Thank you! Love you!" I said and hung up quickly.

"What kind of stories do you make?" The excited Haruka asked.

"Oh you know, the weird stuff." My voice softened while saying that. What if she thinks I'm weird because i make boys' love books?

"Hmm... Judging from that response, you make BL, huh?" Haruka said with a smug.

"Ehm... Yeah?" I said quietly.

"Me too! Which platform do you post on?!" Haruka got excited hearing my reply.

"Uhm, I gotta show you instead. Let's wait for my computer to get here." I said to delay the inevitable.

"Jeez... Fine! You promise right?!" Haruka threatened me. But surprisingly, I don't feel threatened.

"Yeah, yeah, I promise." I smiled.

"Good!" Haruka crossed her arms. This girl is going to do bad things to me.
