Parshuram's Training And A New Opportunity.

Chapter 5: Parshuram's Training and encounter with Bhima.

Indra's eyes widened in recognition and reverence as he realized he was standing before the legendary Parshuram, the sixth avatar of Lord Vishnu. The aura of power and wisdom that surrounded the sage was palpable, leaving Indra in awe.

"Forgive my intrusion, Maharishi Parshuram. I did not mean to disturb your solitude," Indra spoke respectfully, bowing before the sage.

Parshuram nodded, his piercing gaze fixed upon Indra. "You are no ordinary boy, I can sense the strength and potential within you. What brings you here?"

Indra straightened himself and looked directly into Parshuram's eyes. "I came here to train, Maharishi."

Parshuram nodded in approval, "Good. That is the right way for someone like you."

Parshuram seemed to think for a moment but then spoke up, "Would you like to become my student?"

Indra eyes widened in shock. He had never expected Parshuram himself would ask him to be student. "Of-Of Course! I'd be honored to be your student!"

Indra bowed in respect, getting nervous for the first time.

"Hm! Good! From Now On, You shall be my student and known as one! Stand up, Shishya! Let us get on with our Training! Show me your capabilities!" Parshuram said with pride as he stood up.

- At Night -

As they finished their first day of training, Indra bowed and said, "It has been an honor training with you, Guru Parshuram. We will meet again tomorrow."

The sun began to set, casting a warm golden hue over the training grounds where Indra and Parshuram had spent the day honing their skills. Little did they know that their encounter had caught the attention of another formidable figure in the distance—Bhima, the mighty warrior and second of the Pandava brothers.

Bhima had been traveling through the region, seeking worthy opponents to test his strength. Upon hearing of Parshuram's presence, he couldn't resist the opportunity to challenge the legendary sage. With his bulging muscles and an air of invincibility, Bhima approached the training grounds, his eyes fixed on Parshuram.

Parshuram, renowned for his acute perception, sensed Bhima's presence and turned to face him. Indra, still new to the ways of combat, stood beside his guru, observing the unfolding scene with anticipation.

Bhima stepped forward, his voice thunderous with confidence. "I am Bhima, son of Kunti and the wind god Vayu. I have come seeking a worthy opponent. Parshuram, I challenge you to a duel!"

Indra's eyes widened at the audacity of Bhima's challenge. He knew the power of Parshuram, but he had also heard tales of Bhima's unrivaled strength. The atmosphere grew tense as the two titans locked eyes, each prepared to prove their might.

Parshuram's face remained calm and composed. "Bhima, your strength is renowned, but challenging me may not be in your best interest. I am here to train my student, Indra, and I suggest you find another way to test your abilities."

Bhima's chest swelled with pride, his gaze unwavering. "I have heard tales of your prowess, Parshuram. If you are truly as powerful as they say, then defeating me should be child's play for you! As for your student, he is just a forest boy! A worthless trash in front of me! A Demigod!"

Parshuram's eyes flashed with a mixture of annoyance and amusement. He could sense Bhima's arrogance, and while he knew the young warrior possessed formidable strength, he also saw an opportunity to teach him a lesson in humility.

Indra's fists clenched at Bhima's dismissive words. Though still a novice, he felt a surge of determination and loyalty towards his guru. He couldn't stand idly by while Bhima insulted Parshuram and belittled his own potential.

Stepping forward, Indra spoke with newfound confidence. "Bhima, you may be powerful, but do not underestimate the capabilities of others. I may be a forest boy, but I am also a student of Parshuram. I accept your challenge on his behalf."

Parshuram's gaze softened as he looked at Indra, appreciating his bravery. "Very well, Indra. If you are willing to stand up for me, then I shall support you in this challenge. But remember, there is more to strength than mere physical prowess. True power lies within."

Bhima's expression shifted from arrogance to curiosity. He had expected Parshuram to accept his challenge, but the idea of facing his student intrigued him. "Very well, forest boy. If you wish to face me, I will indulge you. Let's see what you're made of."

Bhima and Indra stood against each other, Bhima had a arrogant look on his face while Indra was cold and stoic.

Bhima dashed at Indra and aimed to punch him, Indra quickly activated his sharingan and dodged the blow and sent a kick aiming for Bhima's chest which sent the latter flying.

Bhima quickly regained his footing and smirked and rushed at Indra again.

Indra punched at Bhima Who dodged and threw a punch back but Indra dodged aswell and smirked.

"You should've kept your energy sensory sharp." As he said that he burst into lightning which hit Bhima.

It was just a lightning clone.

The real Indra jumped out of the forest and made a few handsigns and then spew fire from him mouth which took the form of the head of a dragon and it hit Bhima who wasn't able to dodge due to being paralyzed.

As Bhima recovered from the attack, his eyes flared up in anger, he still hadn't forgotten how that brat humiliated Abhimanyu!

Bhima started to get serious and lunged at Indra with blinding speed who had to replace himself with a lightning clone in order to survive.

The clone which Bhima hit immediately got destroyed and Bhima Turned around and dashed at full speeds towards Indra and swinged his mace.

Indra grinned and then and there, both of the warriors were about to use there strongest techniques.

Lightning started appearing around Indra and a lightning dragon appeared in the sky.

Bhima controlled wind and his lone strength was so strong that everything behind got destroyed from the mere force of his dash.

"Kirin-" Indra said but before he could finish and unleash his attack, a finger touched his forehead with so much power it sent him and Bhima flying through the forest opposite of each other.

There stood Parshuram with a slightly angry and annoyed look. "Enough!"

Parshuram looked at Bhima. "I am disappointed in you Bhima! Going all out against a young child! Even though he is powerful, You know that you might have killed him! He still needs atleast another year to Reach or surpass you!"

Bhima and Indra recovered and stood up, Bhima hmphed and picked up his mace and left and Indra bowed to parshuram and left as well.

- Next Day -

Indra walked through the streets of hastinapur to the tournament Hall.

As Indra entered the garden of the tournament Hall, he was approached by Duryodhana, Karna and Aswathama.

"Young Indra, it's nice to meet you again. I saw your last match against vayur in round 1, The power you displayed was very impressive." Said karna.

"Indeed! Mitra is right! You completely embarrased that fool Vayur!" Said Duryodhana in a arrogant and loud voice.

"Indra. It is a pleasure to meet you, My name is Aswathama. I am the son of Dronacharya."

Aswathama introduced himself.

Indra bowed in respect at him before nodding. "Greetings, Prince Duryodhana, Angraj and Aswathama. It is a pleasure to meet you all."

Indra's interaction with Duryodhana, Karna, and Aswathama intrigued him. He knew that these individuals held significant positions and were known for their prowess on the battlefield. However, he also sensed a certain complexity in their characters, a mixture of admiration and underlying tension.

Duryodhana, known for his ambitious nature, regarded Indra with a calculating gaze. "You have shown promise, Indra. Your power is undeniable. I would like to propose an alliance. Together, we could achieve great things."

Karna, standing beside Duryodhana, crossed his arms, his expression guarded. "Duryodhana speaks true. Your abilities are impressive. But before we proceed further, we must test your loyalty and strength. Will you join forces with us against our common enemies?"

Indra pondered their proposition carefully. He knew that aligning himself with these powerful warriors would offer him protection and opportunities for growth. However, he also sensed the potential dangers and moral dilemmas that could arise.

"Very well."
