Chapter 21 : Execute the Plan (3)

In the best sushi restaurant in the city. There were two beautiful girls sitting in the corner. Both had curly hair, but one in dark brown when the others in jet black.

"Order everything you want", Jiang Wan Yin told Chen Li Xue.

"Of course, since you are paying", she gave her most mischievous smile. "So when will you go to N Country?", she continued.

"Next month, wanna join?"

Chen Li Xue shook her head " I'm not a boss and do not have rich boyfriend. Where does the money come from?"

"FIND ONE !"

"Find me one"

The waiter soon brought their orders thus they stopped their conversation for a while to thank him.

While eating, Jiang Wan Yin suddenly spurted "Your big boss"

Chen Li Xue choked as she heard the big boss was mentioned.

"Why? You like"

Chen Li Xue shook her head as she drank her warm o-cha.

"How could you conclude it that way?", Chen Li Xue asked after she finished her tea.

"Instinct"

Chen Li Xue was speechless. She then smoothly changed their topic. They was talking from one topic to another, from the full dishes to empty ones until their tables were cleaned up. They didn't stop talking until Chen Li Xue's phone rang.

"Hello dear"

As soon as Jiang Wan Yin saw her sweet smile, she immediately knew that the litte tofu was the suspect. She pouted while mumbling "Always ruined my quality time with her"

Chen Li Xue smiled to her mumbling while listening to the phone.

"Where are you miss?"

"Having dinner"

"Are you going back soon?"

"En, why?"

"Then, could you come?"

"Huh?"

"I can't sleep without bedtime story, but Uncle K is really bad."

"I got it."

Chen Li Xue rang the bell and a man with his white tee and black training pants welcoming her.

"Is she still awake?", she asked

"Wide awake"

Chen Li Xue smiled and walked to the room that Ye Xiao pointed at. As soon as Chen Li Xue got into the room, the little tofu clung onto her leg and pouted.

"I pity uncle K future children"

Chen Li Xue chuckled upon hearing that statement. She carried the little tofu to the bed and tugged the blanket before sat on the bed. She took the book on the side desk. "The Sleeping Beauty"

She did the storytelling and the little girl listened attentively. Right after the story ended, Ye Xiao brought a glass of warm milk for the little girl.

Li Yue Ying drank the milk and gave the glass back to Ye Xiao. He kissed her forehead and brushed her head gently. "Good night"

"Uncle K"

He turned around.

"Why didn't you kiss Ms C as well?"

Chen Li Xue stunned like a stone when Ye Xiao thanked the little girl inward. 'She is really my niece. Proud of you.'

"Only good girl gets it", Chen Li Xue immediately countered.

"Then, is Ms C not good?", she looked innocently at Ye Xiao.

Before Chen Li Xue wanted to react, a soft lips right on her forehead. She was completely frozen, then a deep voice talked softly on her ear.

"It's better than explaining", he said before going out of the room.

Chen Li Xue patted the little girl to her sleep. She slowly walked out of the room. There, she saw her big boss was sitting in the black leather sofa.

Hearing the light footsteps and the closed door sound, Ye Xiao lifted up his head from the documents that he had been reading to find the little bunny standing.

" Is she asleep?", his deep voice sounded melodically to her ears.

She nodded as response. Chen Li Xue was about to bid farewell when he called her over. She saw the documents that he had been holding. 'Does he need any help ? Isn't Yu Mi back ?' Though she felt strange, she still walked over docilely.

Then, a strong and warm hand pulled her right arm which made her lose her balance. She placed her hands anywhere that could help her steady. She fell into something hard but it just felt not right. When she opened her eyes, she found that his face was only a few meters from hers. Her heart beat vigorously that she couldn't think carefully.

It took a moment before she realized that she was sitting on his laps with her both hands placed on his muscle chest while both of his hands were resting on her waist. Realizing how inappropriate their position was, she tried to break free. As she was trying, a deep voice rang.

"That night"

She paused in anything that she did, she even held her breathe.

"You were awake"

Upon hearing the statement, she suddenly brought back to that night.

She was so tired that night so she decided to take some rest while waiting for Fu Shen and Yan Xu Jia buying late night snacks. She deliberately set her alarm on in case she really fell asleep.

However, she who had always been in guard toward others couldn't sleep tightly in front of strangers. Ye Xiao was not stranger after all, but she didn't know why she was always careful around him. She always wanted to show her good qualities to him, concealing her bad ones as deep as possible. So that night, she didn't fall asleep at all.

She heard the footsteps coming nearer and nearer to her. She felt someone was staring at her with all his might. She also knew that he kissed her gently on her forehead then her... lips..

She was shocked but she was afraid that things would be awkward if she opened her eyes at that moment. She didn't know how to react so she decided to pretend.. pretend that she was asleep and oblivious toward anything that happened.

She tried to act normally when Fu Shen and Yan Xu Jia came back. However, the next day when she was again sitting beside him on board, she couldn't help but felt awkward. Then, she tried to avoid him for the past few weeks.

Ye Xiao had known from the start that she was in her act. He found that out immediately when he kissed her forehead. That time, her whole body was tense. He racked his brain to answer all of her confusion later, but she didn't open her eyes and pretend to be asleep. Thus, he deliberately kissed her lips since he was ready to confess after all. However, she still pretended to be asleep.

Ye Xiao was eager to stop her acting but he knew that he was not supposed to do so. He had to stop at that moment before he did something that would wrong her. His whole body was burning and he couldn't help but taking a cold water.

Back to the present time, Ye Xiao was staring at her. His smile was devilish as he looked how cute her stunned face was. He leaned forward and kissed her forehead which made her whole body tense.

"Why did you pretend?"

Her eyes widened in shock, but she was struck with another shock in seconds.

He gently rubbed her lips with his. He then nibbled her lips. He stopped his action as he realized the little bunny didn't breathe.

"Breathe", he reminded her.

'Sigh.. how innocent this girls is.. I think I have to slow down my pace for not scaring her.'

Chen Li Xue literally forgot to breathe before his reminding. She gasped for air. This was so absurd. She closed her eyes to calm down when she opened she looked straight to the man's deep eyes as she was probing his mind.

Ye Xiao leaned on the sofa as looking at her amusingly. 'Ask anything that you would like, girl.' He waited for a long time but still no sound from her.

"You are smart, I don't think that I need to elaborate more. Don't feel pressure, but don't avoid me as well. Okay?"

Chen Li Xue didn't know why but she nodded docilely. She always felt that Ye Xiao was like her tamer.

Looking at how obedient his little girl, he patted her head gently before he gave another kiss on her forehead.

"Let's go, I'll walk you to your room"

He held her hand and brought her back to her room.
