Two perspectives to soon collide

For once in his entire  life Micheal remembered his keys. He entered his apartment thinking no one was home. 

sliding to his desk he started to  write down some stuff on a piece of paper no one really knows what he was writing.

"Micheal.." His roommate walked out of the room rubbing her eyes tired

"Yeah Ariel?" He was jumpy to the sound of his name even at this hour.

"Why are you up this late again..." Ariel said practically mumbling.

"I just needed to finish this  story." Micheal looked back to his paper.

"....ok." 

"Oh and by the way..a Detective was looking for you, what's that about?" Ariel asked.

"I don't know...what did he ask you?" 

Micheal turned to her genuinely confused.

"He just asked where you were.." Ariel went back to bed leaving Micheal just sitting there wondering why I of all people would look for him.

"Did the results come in?" I asked Jean as I just entered the station.

Jean nodded and she didn't look happy at all.

"He's been sentenced to death." 

I knew something like this would happen: the court gave no mercy for these sorts of things even if you're just a kid that can't control it.

"You broke the news to him already?" I started to walk to the tech room where Damian is and she started following.

"Yes sir." she said

"How did he take it?" I asked.

"Sir with all do respect I don't think that's a question that needs an answer-"

I laughed to myself.

"How did your interrogation with Micheal go?" 

Jean asked.

"Not good he wasn't there gonna have to try again tomorrow." 

That or he could just be avoiding me.. well..that can't be it but just in case.

"Hey Damian.." I walked into the Tech room and saw Damian with his headphones in doing some work he left off last minute.

"Yea boss?" He turned to me lifting up his headphones to hear me clearly.

"Can you hack  the contacts on this?" I gave him Jin's phone.

"Sure can do boss!"
