A lead to something big

Micheal had many sleepless nights he couldn't shake the feeling someone was after him and the thing was he didn't know which he fears the most.

The first thing he did every morning was check his phone for any updates/ texts from a certain someone but when he woke up the phone wasn't there….

He walked out to the living room where he saw Gabriel sitting down in his chair reading a book of some kind.

"Did you see my phone?" Micheal asked.

"I saw it in your bedroom ….i took the liberty of throwing it away for you." Gabriel explained

"Why did you do that??" Micheal was mad but he kind of already knew the answer to that question

"You forgot to turn your location off…" Micheal heard Gabriel say and his heart sank so deep he couldn't even utter a word.

"I..must have forgotten.." Micheal explained.

"Leaving your location on?"

"I was playing Pokemon go." Micheal said.

Gabriel looked back to his book and continued reading.

"That makes sense.."

There was an awkward silence in the room before Micheal finally left the situation.

"Gabriel!" he shouted from a different room.

"Yeah?"

"Can I use your landline?"

"Sure thing buddy."

Today I was put on the task to look after my nieces. There wasn't much to do at my house which would leave them very hyperactive without the proper games and toys but luckily I'm the best uncle in the world so I don't need those to keep them entertained.

"You girls want to go to the zoo?" I asked if it was a nice sunny day and I could use the walk over.

"Yeah!"

"Lets go, Lets go!" I heard my nieces cheer …they're smiles never fail to bring me joy.

And they never will…
