10 Chapter 10: an explenation in a cart

Riding down the grass lands. Hikami had been happily talking to her new group of friends. They had talked happily about the dangerous and adventuring life of an adventurer, and the many friendships that are made in the business.

"You really should join the guild! I can cover the entry fee for you and then we can go on these jobs together. Your necromancer class could be very useful for our group." Sammy said a bit of child like wonder flushing over her face as she made this suggestion.

"You did very well in the fight against that group of lesser creatures Hikami." Sammy complimented, Hikami's ears practically flicking at that point.

"Did you just say Lesser creatures? Because that is what my zombies are, but I don't really understand how this works. Is it a ranking system?" Hikami wondered. Pulling up her skill screen for the now level 2 undead manifested.

Sammy reads over the skill, carefully studying the skill. "yes, it does seem to utilize the basic adventuring rank system for categorizing the strength of a creature type." Sammy says as she reaches behind her. Taking out a small book and opening it.

"There are a few creature categories, the order from weakest to strongest is as follows. Lesser, then minor, then you have lesser mid, mid, and high mid. There after comes the stronger categories among the rankings. Lesser high, high, and commander, lastly you have the legendary category. These are truly horrifying creatures. Mainly dragons sit among these creature types." She explains, turning through the pages of her book.

"However just because a creature is of lesser category does not mean it can not beat one of the minor categories. You see the categories are a general estimate of that creature's strength from the levels 1 through 5. Therefor they could easily be of a category higher, granted their levels and combat experience is capable of getting them to that point in time." Sammy explained, trying to keep the given information as low as possible so that it would be easier to comprehend for someone just trying to figure out the system of the categories.

"Hikami, you see most creatures can become many times more dangerous depending on what class they are given. All races are given a class once they reach level 5 and a job at the same level. As you may know they are randomly distributed, so some creatures may have greater classes then others making them much more powerful by default." Sammy finished her explanation.

Hikami taking in the long monolog with a fascinate look. Getting the feeling that maybe she should have taken notes. "I see, but my undeads do not have levels so I don't think they would be able to level up and be capable of fighting much greater battles. Eventually I will have to switch some out." Hikami says with a bit of a sigh.

"But I can level up the skill so I will just keep an eye out for that and grow stronger myself." Hikami said puffing out her chest in an attempt to inspire herself for future events to come.
