"You guys didn't kill him yet, did you?" I asked as we approached the tree stump where Wanda and Yue had slung Nameless up. He had torn a path into this forest so large I could spot it from orbit. Nameless himself was lying prone half on the stump of one felled tree with a branch poking out of his throat, arma and kegs twisted in weird angles, clearly broken and dislocated. They themselves had been pinned to the ground with icicles.

Yue's doing no doubt.

As I approached him, I could sense the many magical groups in the world already probing this area but one flash of my divine aura sent their probing spells flying back. Just to be sure though, I still set up a ward. Who knows what the other gods might have planned after that slaughter of the greek pantheon. I wanted no more surprises.

"So?"

"He's alive. Barely." Wanda said, and Yue poked him with the Pope.

He twitched and coughed up some blood, eyes shooting open, bloodshot and in pain.

"Great." I said as Nameless turned to look at me with a venomous glare

"You said you would take me outside! We were going to play a bigger better game!" Nameless croaked, tears in his eyes, blood bubbling out from his mouth where a sharp branch had torn through his neck.

I knelt down beside him and looked him in the eyes, intimidating him into silence as I patted his cheeks.

"Oh but we did, didn't we? This is outside. And now you're part of my grand game against the old gods. I kept my end of the bargain, to the word." I let out a dry chuckle.

He tried to snap at me but his throat overflowed with blood drowning his choked scream in bloody gurgles.

It was a neat little thing that his immortality granted him. Even after being stripped of his divinity and unkillable status, he was still immortal enough to revive from the near fatal wounds he had suffered.

You see when gods in this world lose their divinity, they still retain a version of immortality. It was a golden parachute of sorts for them. Whenever an ex-god experienced a fatal wound that didn't have godslaying properties, their bodies would return to some sort of save-state by bending time itself.

The same was true for Nameless. Unfortunately for him, his immortality recognized the blood in his throat and lungs as food and drink, so it didn't disappear every time he revived, turning him into essentially an infinite fountain of blood.

"You extracted his divinity right?" I asked Wanda. I had taught all my wives the necessary spells, just in case. You can never be too sure.

Wanda flipped her hand to reveal a glowing ball of divine power.

Damn. I whistled.

This is no seed of divinity. It's a goddamn jackfruit of divinity. My mouth watered at the sheer amount power this was outputting, the snell, the uhn!

My stomach growled. The smell was positively delicious.

Tempting. So tempting.

I felt like I could rip the multiverse in two if I ate it.

"We took away his unkillability too." Yue added, gefting the Pope in her hand. Inside it's cartridge, I could see a swirling mass, motes of dark purple light radiating out, churning like a great galaxy of impossible shapes and colours. Little masses of energy blinked in and out of existence in it's swirling whirlpools. It was captivating to say the least.

I shook my head.

Now where was I?

Ah yes.

"Yue?" I patted her head, "Good job. You too Wanda."

"But no headpats for me?" Wanda teased.

"Do you want headpats?" I asked with a smile as I grabbed her hand, squeezing it lightly.

"I want a lot more~" Wanda giggled, "But for now, I'll settle for knowing why you brought that eyesore along?"

She pointed at Quentin, sans his mouth, dumped unceremoniously into the dirt.

"Oh him. He betrayed us. When magic went out and his contract voided for that day and a half, he ratted us out to the library. They did a number on Offee."

Wanda gave Offee a quizzical look.

"He means that literally. They threw some two hundred thousand and change mages at me. Wore me out." Offee clicked her tongue in annoyance as she recounted the experience.

"Took me a minute to get back on my feet."

"I thought you went to save her?" Yue asked.

I shrugged.

"Well, as it turns out, she didn't need saving. Just a power nap."

"And let me guess, you're thinking of putting Nameless into his body and making him watch that horrid contraption you turned that girl into?"

"You know me too well." I smiled, "But I was thinking he'd serve as a good test subject for studying divine possession. The mental torture is just the cherry on top. Yue, the Pope?"

Yue handed it to me and I popped out the cartridge replacing it with a fresh and empty one.

Opening a portal, I summoned a drone over, handing the divinity and the concept of unkillability over to it. Two androids followed behind it, and at my command took Nameless and Quentin, slinging them over their shoulders to take them to my clone in the lab.

Handing the Pope back to Yue, I turned to Wanda.

"Wanda, could you go complete the collection requests? We might need to leave soon and I don't want to have missed anything. Oh, and get that World Seed. It will be very important in ensuring that this multiverse doesn't collapse the moment we finish up here." I told her.

The World Seed was an artifact of great power. As its name suggests it was a seed the size of a papaya that had the potential to become whatever it's user wanted it to be, even something as big as the entire world.

And while it was a bit late, there was still time enough to use it before the final plan engages tomorrow at midnight. It was integral to my plan too, even if my own plan had just one difference from the original one.

One difference that would grant me the leverage to ensure the survival of Offee and the kids.

"If I remember right, I'll need a kid for that, won't I?" She asked.

The couple that had the World Seed had lost their kid and wanted to turn it into a copy of their son.

Yes, it's as stupid as it sounds. Using an artifact that can create worlds to revive your kid. Makes me wonder if anyone here has even two braincells to rub together.

But I digress. I have made a lot of mistakes too. Can't fault them for the same.

But they weren't a problem anymore.

"Nah. I think the couple died in Offee's library rampage. The world seed should be easy to steal now." I told her, before turning to Yue.

"Yue, with me. We'll resurrect the Sister and deal with her." Yue nodded as she stored the Pope into her hammer space.

"And Offee." I turned to her.

"Finally." She huffed, crossing her arms.

"Go home."

"Now listen here, dear." She frowned and poked my chest angrily, "I didn't tear through entire universes to get here just to sit on the bench. I can handle the action."

"I know you can." I took her hand in mine and kissed them, and her look softened, "You're my battle wife. If I had to take anyone to fight, I'd pick you. But the kids need their mom. And I'll need you to evacuate them to the off-world lab to keep them safe, in case the rest of the gods have something up their sleeve."

"Can't the androids do that?" She asked.

"Yes, but I'd rather have you with them." I insisted.

"You're going to do something drastic aren't you?" Offee asked.

"Well there are a lot of gods we haven't harvested yet. It'd be a pain to hunt them down. I figured I'd try something different." I replied.

"Okay. But I'll be here for the final stage. No arguments." She wagged a finger bopping my nose.

"None whatsoever." I agreed.

"I'll see you at dinner?" She asked planting a soft kiss.

"You will."

With that she and Wanda disappeared.

"Shall we get going too?" I asked.

"Un~" Yue nodded.

.

We arrived at a clearing in another forest.

In the middle of the clearing lay an ancient sacrificial altar, still wet with the god blood spilled on it thousands of years ago, permanently stained red. Four clay bowls rested against the altar, each with a different symbol carved onto it. Symbols that matched the script carved into the stone organs from before.

This was the place where Nameless's Sister was broken down into four parts.

I walked over to the altar and took out the four stone organs from the bag of holding and placed them each into their respective bowls.

Meanwhile, Yue created a set of concentric magic circles with blood and herb mixture around and on the pedestal.

Finally, Yue took out a body from the bag of holding and laid it out onto the bed-sized altar.

It was a clone of Julia. A body like that wouldn't last long under the sheer amount of divinity the Sister had but that wasn't my problem. I needed just a couple of seconds to deal with her. Just in case though, I opened up a portal and summoned my bloodstone coated nano-swarm over to me.

Guiding them to the clone of Julia on the altar, I had them coat every last surface of her body, digging into her, leaving only heart uncovered. Additionally, I hid two reality anchors around the altar, coating them with a layer of bloodstone nanites as well.

Since bloodstone short circuit's divine power, with a whole cubic meter of nanites inside and around her, buzzing around in the air ahe breathes, she won't be able to do anything.

With all the preparations done, I signalled Yue to step back, behind the altar and be ready to move when the time comes.

Summoning an ebony ritual dagger to my hand, I filled it with my divine power and slit the clone's chest over it's heart, sending a surge of magic into the circle as her blood drained into the altar.

The stones began to shake, the bowls clattering against the stone of the altar as the symbols began to glow with an unholy light.

Motes of golden lights streamed from the stone organs as cracks spread across them like spiderwebs till with a thunderous boom they shattered and exploded out into a cloud of dust and rock.

The four streams of light zipped across the altar luke snakes in the grass, digging into the open beating heart of Julia's clone.

The heart itself began to glow, and the wound over it flickered shut as it's existence was erased with the Sister's divine power.

Her eyes shot open and she drew a deep, long breath for the first time in millennia.

She scanned the clearing as she sat up, looking over both me and Yue curiously.

"This....is a good body." She smiled, "You have done well, my servant. Here's your reward!"

She swiped her hand at me, intending to kill, but nothing happened.

I snickered as the Sister looked down at her own hands as she pumped out more and more power till even the nanites were beginning to strain.

Instantly, I activated the reality anchors. Now that the ritual was over, I didn't particularly need to worry about disrupting any magic.

Yue took the opportunity to stab her with the Pope and drain the concept of unkillability from her as well.

"Gyaah! Why can't I- What did you do? You vermin! We had an agreement!" She screamed.

"An agreement you broke the moment you opened your eyes." I pointed out, "Did you seriously think I would trust you? Why? Because you were all cryptic in one dream and expected me to worship the ground you walk on. Please, I'm not Quentin." I said, grabbing her by the neck as my hand blurred, digging into her. Slowly and carefully, I extracted the divinity from her.

"What are you doing? No, NOooooo! NO! Stop! Leave me! Unhand me! No, Please! Please!" She freaked out as she realized what was happening and tried to fight it, swatting away helplessly at my arms to no avail. As soon as the divinity was out of her I threw it to Yue and pulled out my knife .

"Please....spare me...you have already taken everything from me, please! Ple-"

"Nope."

I slit her throat and left her bleeding on the altar as the light left her eyes.

"Can I drink her blood? I mean it's right here. Why let it go to waste." Yue asked, eyeing the corpse.

"Sure. Go ahead." I shrugged, opening a portal to send the Pope and the divinity over.

Once they had been delivered, I stretched and watched the stars rise in the evening sky as a slight chill enveloped the forest.

For a moment I sat down on a nearby log and just enjoyed the view of the forest and the evening sky, watching the last lights of the sun disappear over the horizon.

"Ahn~" Yue moaned as she drained the last of the Sister's blood and came to sit down beside me, "That was delicious."

"Really? What did it taste like?" I asked as i wiped the blood off her mouth, letting her enjoy the post feeding haze a bit longer.

"Red Velvet." She said, licking her lips.

"Like the cake?"

"Un." She said, softly leaning on my shoulder. In the background, the crickets sung their songs and fireflies flew around, glowing like little stars all around us.

"I like this. Nice and quiet." I whispered.

"Me too. We should do this more often." She replied.

She was right. How long had it been since I actually stopped to rest and enjoy something.

How long since I even paid that much attention to my wives. No. Once this is over, I'm taking them each out on a date. A proper date. Which reminds me.

I summoned a ring I had made a while back when I was experimenting with Creation Magic. I had intended to use it to propose to Yue but in all this action, it had gone forgotten.

I sighed.

Even as a god I'm still so forgetful.

"You know...." I began, attracting Yue's attention, "I wanted to wait till we finished up here, but...this is such a perfect opportunity, I couldn't resist."

I slipped off the log and fell to a knee.

Yue finally noticed the ring in my hands ans squee-ed in delight.

"A proposal!"

"Yes. It's a proposal."

"Yes! Yesyesyesyesyes!" She jumped to her feet.

"I didn't even-"

"It's a yes!" She repeated, and I could see in her eyes there was no point in finishing.

I slid the ring onto her finger as she jumped onto me, wrapping her arms around my neck and her legs around my chest, squeezing me tight.

"Uhuhuhuhuhuhuhu...." She giggled, looking at the ring behind my back.

"You like it that much huh?"

"Yes." She replied, kissing my cheeks, "I thought you'd never ask. I was almost getting worried, you know." She huffed.

"Am I that bad?"

"Yes." Yue replied with a cheeky grin.

"Well then, I'll have to make it up to you then, won't I?" I laughed.

It was nice seeing her so happy.

"You will." She nodded with a flair, "I can't wait to show it to Wanda and Offee!"

"Why don't you go ahead then? I'll clean up here and come back."

"Okay. But don't be too late. I want to celebrate this. With all of us." She warned.

"I won't." I assured her and she teleported away.

Once she was gone, I burnt the whole patch of forest with a swipe of my hand before teleporting away myself. Just not home. Not yet.

.

The underworld was a big place. And I mean Big witha capital G. At a glance it was as large as the solar system, all it's different realms, each denoting a world in the multiverse, sometimes more, interconnected to each other via a series of elevators, hallways, tram cars and other transit systems that ranged from waystones to warp gates depending on the respective worlds version of the underworld. But my target currently was the specific realm inhabited by Hades and Persephone.

Arriving in their manor at Elysium, I could see the romanesque architecture and 1950s design that went into it. An odd choice but hey, not my home, not my place to question them. Well until now at least. Now it was mine. Walking into the office, I sat down on the plush velveteen chair behind the desk, and scanned the room.

There was a painting on the wall, depicting Hades, Persephone, their children, sans Reynard, for obvious reason and most importantly, a puppy, Cerberus.

Hmm....I did see a doggy bowl outside, in the hall. but no sign of the best doggo of hell himself.

I wonder where he's at. And if he's cute.

The kids would love a pet, and maybe this time they'll like it more than the baby Chthulu I gave them. They did not like that. Well, Riley liked it. Ace decidedly did not. Saraswati was a meh and Star nearly killed it with a hug so I decided it would be better for me to get them a stronger one. And what's stronger than Gaia's own spawn. A literal godly doggo.

I scanned the underworld but couldn't find him. Well, there's always time later. I focused back on the task at hand.

I turned my attention to the computer on the table, one of those old, boxy, early 2000s types.

How dreadfully modern!

It even had basic encryption to keep prying eyes out. Too bad it didn't work against me.

Cracking the passcode and firewall, I went straight for the email and checked the contact list.

Bingo!

In the contacts of the email was a whole list of names of gods from all around the multiverse.

It's as I thought. A big head honcho like Hades must have been well connected in the multiverse.

And lo and behold. He had a contact list with the addresses of over ten thousand gods and goddesses. Great.

I activated my geass and checked the possible futures for the right words as I clicked on 'compose' and began to write out an email.

"My fellow deities, as you might have heard, a dire crisis has befallen our world. And invader from beyond the multiverse has allied himself with the twins who have no names....."

Once I was finished writing the email, I cc'ed everyone in the contacts list and sent it.

Now, it was just time to wait and watch.

Wiping all traces of me being here, I teleported away, back to my apartment. Arriving at the door, I passed the various checkpoints I had set up and through the field of reality anchors that kept the house safe.

As I entered, I could hear giggling and laughter.

"...then he comes up to me like a lost puppy, and tells me he dropped the poopy diaper off the balcony, right onto the neighbour's wife because he thought he saw a weird bird outside." I could hear Offee say as she applied icing on a baumkuchen.

"It's great to know he was always this airheaded." Wanda laughed.

"Un!" Yue giggled in agreement.

I smiled warmly.

It was great to see them get along so well.

"I'm home." I announced, taking off my shoes.

One downside of having reality anchors active in the house 24/7 is that I can't just magic away the shoes and such. It was also why Offee had to make food with her own hands, though it wasn't like she wasn't going to do that anyways.

Handmade food is filled with love, she insisted. She was very old fashioned that way and I find it adorable. She's a great cook either way and enjoys cooking. So why not let her be?

"Jay!" Yue lit up like a firecracker as she saw me.

"Welcome back darling." Wanda greeted me with a drink.

"The cake's almost ready too. Could you put the hotpot on the table while I finish this, dear?" Offee asked.

"Of course. Give me second." I said as I hung the labcoat and made my way to the kitchen, making sure to kiss Star and Luminara on the forehead as they slept soundly on the couch in a bundle.

Ah, domestic bliss.

Time for a celebration before the end of the world.

.

Monster Clone POV

On the ship.

Universe Z-14, Dragon Ball Multiverse

"Haaah!" I sighed, as I input the code for the 5th time. The door beeped red once again and debied me access.

"This is going nowhere." I tapped on my watch, calling the lab.

"Hey! What's up? Awaken the true body yet?" My clone in the lab asked, munching on some Simple Jay's wafers.

"I would have, if the damn door opened. Did you change the code?" I asked.

"No, why?"

"Well it's not opening."

"Did you try turning it off and on again?" My clone said with a cheeky grin.

I couldn't help but roll my eyes.

"Har de har har. Very funny. Now tell me, did you change it?"

"How-Why would I change the code?"

"I don't know, to prank me or something?"

"I'm not- Okay I am that petty but this time I didn't do it. Did you try cracking it? Forcing your way in? Maybe it's the new forcefield systems that we ordered to be upgraded."

"Fine. But if it doesn't work..."

"Yeah, yeah. I'll come over. We'll figure something out. But first, try cracking it."

"Sure. And hey, weren't you out of Simple- And he's cut the call. Great." I sighed.

Let's try forcing it open. I flared out my technokinesis, pressing into the systems as I bypassed the safety protocols and activated my admin access. The doors hissed as they opened, and the forcefield surrounding them opened up just enough to allow me in before salmming shut just as I entered the room.

And immediately I noticed something wrong.

Damnit.

I looked at a corner of the room.

"I see you. Come out already...." I said with a sigh, "Rick."
