168 The end of Death.

Returning to the pizza dimension, I smiled as I picked the earring from it's hidey hole, and spun the AllSpark in my hand.

Now that I am in proximity of the earrings, Lady Death must know that I have removed her curse.

That means she will be waiting for me back home.

Putting on the earring, I connected to my ship and saw her apparating between the many rooms on the ship, scouring for me.

I grinned wide.

Just as planned, she fell right into my trap.

I checked the armaments I had.

The Omnitrix.

The AllSpark.

The Reality Anchor.

The Conceptual Shear.

To be used in that order.

All that I needed to kill her, once and for all.

I took a deep breath and pushed my power into the Omnitrix.

The watch glowed green and the dial popped up, spinning madly past hundreds upon hundreds of aliens till it came upon the one I wanted.

Alien X.

A Celestialsapien.

A cosmic alien entity with nigh omnipotent powers.

Perfect for fighting another entity in the same league.

This was the real reason I needed to borrow the Omnitrix.

I slammed the dial and a pulse of power burst into my body, mutating me.

I could feel an infinte space, galaxies upon galaxies, seas of star expanding within me, and an unending source of cosmic energy bubbled up, filling me with unrivalled power!

This feeling...I felt like I could do anything and everything I ever wanted and more.

Like all possibilities were left open to me across space and time.

So many options, so many choices, too much power!

And yet, gnawing at me deep inside was a paralyzing fear of my own actions as two more thought processes emerged within me.

The fatal flaw of Alien X. They had a serious case of multiple personality disorder that crippled them with constant argument about which action they should take in some twisted version of quantum uncertainty!

Nope. Big nope.

Not dealing with that three face problem.

Using my newfound power, I immediately shut the two new personalities within me.

But I knew it wouldn't hold for long.

I had to move fast before they came to the fore and froze me in place.

I had to save my kids now.

Because if I don't...

The two new socratic pieces of shit would make me watch as Lady Death slaughtered them.

Forced to watch but unable to interfere.

No!

It's go time!

I opened up a portal home, connected to the ship and chucked the AllSpark in, sending it tumbling onto the floor.

Then, I watched Lady Death immediately teleport into the dining room, just as the ship came to life.

Immediately, her eyes widened and rolled over, and she clutched her head, grunting in pain, sensing the creation of a lifeform so massive and powerful, given that its heart was a literal black hole trapped in gravity well.

A conciousness pinged against my power and the world seemed to shake as it said it's first word.

"Father...."

"Yes. I am your father. Nice to meet you Saraswati." I greeted, stepping out of the portal, as I dropped the reality anchor by Lady Death's feet, activating it.

The space around us twisted and warped, as something seemed to subtly shift, and suddenly everything felt ....lighter in a metaphysical sense, like someone had shaved a few layers off of reality.

My contacts displayed as much, with my ship automatically activated redundancy protocols and setting up the absolute barrier, deploying dimension anchors all around the premises, and activating the improbability drive I had installed here just in case.

Project Phoenix beeped an alert onto my display, readying for revival in case it was needed.

Good to know that breathing life into the ship didn't damage the safety protocols.

It was something I was worried about.

"Saraswati, we can have our introduction later, but right now you have to help Papa fight this little bony bitch who put our family in danger, m'kay?"

"Okay.....Papa." It...no, she replied.

I smiled warmly.

"Put the ship on lockdown. And ready the Tree Of Pain. It's time for some well deserved payback. Isn't that right, m'lady?" I asked.

"What did you.....no...nonononono! NO!" She saw the Reality Anchor and her face went pale. Well ... paler.

I didn't even think you could get that pale, but shows what I know.

She crawled back, trying to get away from me.

"This can't be happening! This isn't how it's supposed to go!"

"Oh yeah, baby." I walked up to her, grabbed her by the neck and lifted her up with one hand.

"No! This....you were supposed to wait for the whole year! You were going to!

I read your memories! This isn't supposed to happen!" She screamed.

"You read my memories? The one I hid inside a labyrinthine matrix of defenses, hidden beyond your sight.

Let me guess, you discovered my grand plan? A plot to end all plots? A god killing weapon forged in another dimension? The epic battle on the surface of the sun?! What a joke!"

I laughed im her face.

"You don't mean-!" She gasped, tearing up, "No!"

"Yes! It was all fake. Planted there, looking oh so tempting beneath the elaborate defenses I made up, hidden from your sight.

A daring plan to put you down.

I'm quite proud of it, actually. It cost me a pretty penny to fool you, I'll give you that!"

I unsheathed the Conceptual Shear and went to town on her, slowly slicing off her skin, peeling it off to cause her the most pain.

Skinning her alive.

Amidst her screams, I continued.

"See, I know how you entities think.

All that power, it makes you bored, curious, almost chasing for your next hit of something new, something tingly and tantalizing.

And you'd do anything to get it.

So much so that if I gave you a sufficiently convoluted plan, you wouldn't think twice about it.

Because see, thinking and choices....they are for lower beings. Uncertain creatures.

Gods don't think. They don't consider their actions. Such a thought doesn't even cross their minds for they are absolute.

You never even considered that I could trick you or lie to you.

Because you were complacent. In all your omnipotence, you never tried to give yourself omniscience!

After all, what could ever hurt you? Not a mortal, no!

Certainly not!

You are a higher being.

So.... unshakeably certain in everything.

Who you are. What your place in the world is. What you want for breakfast.

No uncertainty. No confusion. No creativity. No ....ambition.

It makes you an easy target."

"I read your memories...this can't be true...no...! This is a lie! A lie! A dream! Yes! I'm sleeping. I'm still sleeping!" She cried.

"Ohohoho!" I gave a delighted chuckle as I sliced off her right arm, erasing it from existence, moving onto her left leg.

"Only one arm down and you're already in denial? Pathetic!

And here I expected a challenge!"

"How!?" She begged.

"How you ask? How did I manage to trick you?" I asked.

"How?!" She repeated, her eyes rolled over.

"Bitch! I'm the smartest man in the universe! If I couldn't plant a fake memory into my own mind, I would've drowned myself in a cupful of toilet water!"

Just then, she stopped thrashing and I looked into her eyes, dull and ironically, dead.

"Blacked out so fast? No. Oh no no!" I wagged my finger, "That won't do! Besides, what sort of person asks a question and then just dips?!"

I pulled a adrenal shot and jabbed it into her now mortal body, jerking her awake, back in pain.

But that's not enough!

I pulled out another injection, one that increased nerve sensitivity. And forced pain onto the recipient. Constant unceasing, unbearable pain. And it increased over time too.

It was a better version of SCP - 008, the Nietzsche Virus, minus the need for breaks between stages.

Mine was better. It was constant, ever increasing pain. And more pain. Till the host broke, and broke again and again. Forever.

She screamed like a banshee, a mournful, repentant scream, thrashing on the floor, spasming and twisting, her body mangled in half a dozen places and only worsening.

From a pain so horrible she would rather die and be reborn back in the same body if only it offered her a moment's respite.

And her misery though, her weeping..... it was song to my ears.

Mhmmmm!

Beautiful.

A price to pay for daring to hurt me. To hurt my children.

With another slice, her left leg was gone too, and I moved on to her left arm.

Her eyes flickered, looking at me with a pleading gaze. Begging for a release.

"Why?! Pleheaease! Noooohooo morewe! I'm. Shookhory!" She begged, her face bare with regret.

"You know what....." I said, rubbing my chin, "Maybe this is enough punishment for you. You've learnt your lesson yes?"

She nodded vigorously, drool dripping from her mouth, and a spark of hope bloomed in her dull pained eyes.

"Good." I nodded thoughtfully, "I think I'll let you go, if you promise to never return."

She nodded like a machine gun, and let out a guttural moan.

"Yhees, never hudt agin! Nevot loog at yor gids! Bromise!" She cried.

"Alright. I'll take you on your word." I said, turning around to switch off the reality anchor as she sighed in relief.

But I didn't.

"On second thought though...." I trailed and turned back around with a devious smile and looked at her confused face as the realisation slowly dawned on her.

The relief drained away, as fear replaced it and she screamed again.

"Nohooo!"

I laughed, driving the knife back into her right leg, splitting it down lengthwise, as her pain began anew.

"Did you seriously think I would let you g-"

Something rumble within me.

No.

Nononono!

The split personalities were returning!

They couldn't be held back anymore.

Fuck!

Can't take her to the Tree Of Pain now. Not like this.

I'll just have to kill her now, before I go back to dealing with the two shmucks inside.

I pulled out the knife and erased her right leg too, before raising it above her chest, ready to drive it through her heart, ending her once and for all.

I smiled at her fear filled eyes, as she tried to move away, but now being a nugget, she could so much as twist to the side, forced to lie prone and watch as her death, if that was even what it was, came for her.

"Goodbye, Lady Death. Shame I couldn't torture you forever, but other things require my attention. Have a nice afterlife."

I slammed down, the knife diving straight for her heart when suddenly the room filled up with a bright, almost unbearable glow, and the knife vanished from my hands, and a booming voice lovingly requested.

"Please stop. This is unnecessary. Let her g-"

I instantly smashed her skull in, destroying her completely.

I don't know who the glowing disco ball is but....

Fuck that voice. And fuck it's mother too.

I am not letting Lady Death escape here freely.

"That is awfully rude of you, son." It chastised gently, taking the shape of a man.

With a face I recognised.

Oh.

So that's who....
