15 Chapter 15
"Now that lunch is over, it's time to reveal the next event." Present Mic takes the mic again and begins his rant.
"But before that. This is a Sports Festival, after all, so for those that couldn't make it to the finals, we have recreational games for all of you to participate in. We even brought real cheerleaders from America to liven things up."
He pauses for a moment, "Uh, Class 1-A, what kind of fan service is this?"
On the other side of the cheerleaders, where the girls of Class 1-A all standing in a row, dressed in the same way as the cheerleaders.
Momo falls to the ground and realizes that she fell for Kaminari's plan.
"Well let's just pass over that. The final event of the festival will be a tournament with the students duking it out one on one. Due to an uneven number of participants, the last place Team Shinso can only have two people participate in this round"
Oijiro steps up and raises his hand, "I wish to forfeit from the tournament."
The people around him are shocked,
"Oijiro Kun, are you giving up this chance to shine?" Toru asks.
He goes on to explain that he remembers nothing from the Calvary event until the end. Another participant, some kid from Class 1-B also drops out for the same reason.
Midnight stands back onto the stage with a large orange box in her hands.
"Now after we draw lots, we'll hold the recreational games. The qualifiers can decide if they want to participate or rest."
Midnight walks up to Sora and offers him the box. he reaches in and pulls out a name.
"Kirishima"
He then informs Midnight and she makes note of it. She then goes around and passes the box to the other participants until the matchups are decided.
Kirishima looks up onto the screen to see who's he is fighting. He looks at Sora who was standing nearby.
"Let's give it our all I ain't gonna lose"
"yeah let's give it our all," Sora says as he walks back to the waiting room.
A few hours later Sora walks over to the seating for Class 1-A. In the arena Iida getting trolled by Hatsume who is using him to show off her Babies.
Sitting next to Midoriya who was talking to Uraraka about her match. After all, she is still going against Bakugo. Sora decided not to get involved as her powers have no advantage over Bakugo's.
After a while, Iida's opponent forfeits, he is borderline crying from what she did to him. Izuku is taking notes on Hatsume. Mina and Aoyama walk onto the stage and their fight begins.
The next fight was Sora's turn so he walks back down to the lockers and wait his turn to be called.
Soon enough, someone calls him and informs him that he needs to get to the arena entrance.
He walks through the entryway and hears loud cheering. Across from him, he sees Kirishima, also walking from a similar entrance. We both reach our designated spots.
"I won't go easy on you." Sora says
Kirishima looks at Sora with determination in his eyes, "I know that."
The students of class one watched both of them get on to the stage.
"how do you think this battle is going to turn out?" Mina asked out loud
"although I think Mei is going to win, both of them a type of hardening Quirk. So Kirishima should be able to hang on for some time" Asui said
"That depends on if Sora lets him" Midoriya answers "what makes sora strong isn't his quirk but his martial arts. None of you have seen sora use his martial technique even during his fight with Nomu the opponent was too strong not letting him use it."
"Is it that strong?" Uraraka asked in shock
"Very!!, I have seen him destroy a large boulder without using his quirk"
"Doesn't that mean Kirishima won't stand a chance!!!?"
Everyone kept quiet as they already know the answer.
On the stage,
Kirishima hardens his fist and charges for Sora. He throws a few punches which Sora calmly dodges.
"Hey Kirishima what type of hero do you want to be?" sora asked not even trying to fight back as he keeps dodging.
"what do you mean" Kirishima doesn't stop.
He starts attacking non-stop trying to gain a hit on Sora
"You know most people have mid long range attacks and excellent mobility" starts lecturing Kirishima. "Your powers didn't really fit in this type of fights style"
Kirishima was confused but didn't stop attacking
"what do you mean. Are you trying to say I'm not good enough of a hero" he says angrily while he continues charging at him
"no that's not what I mean what I'm trying to say is you're focused on the wrong thing" Sora explains
"let me ask you this. what is it your quirk? You can hardened right giving you a strong defense"
"ya" kirishima answer
"So why are you chasing after me why not use your quirks your advantage" Sora says
"Huh I don't understand what you're saying" kirishima was confused causing him to stop
"What I mean is, why do insist on chasing after me why not make me come to you can use the fact that you have a strong endurance to Exhaust me" Sora calmly explains
"Ah I've never really thought of like that" Kirishima thinks about it and agrees with what Sora said
"but here's another problem your current level can't take much. Let me show you" Sora then dashes forward and starts raining down punches
The attack was so fast that Kirishima could only put up his hands to cover his face
But this didn't stop Sora from attacking without even using his haki he continues raining down punches on kirishima causing his body starts to crack
"As you can see you can't even take this much level of attack so if you want to take advantage of it you have to become harder stronger meet in a situation whereby you can't be taken down"
Kirishima knows but he really couldn't do anything about it.
Seeing he is about reach his limit Sora was a bit disappointed. he talked with him to see if he can make him go into 'UNBREAKABLE' but it seems he was asking for too much
"Remember this at the current level you are you can't really do anything so right now" then coats his arm in haki and delivers a final punch sending him flying out of the ring.
Midnight says, "Kirishima is out of bounds. Mei advances to the second round."
The crowd was a bit shocked to see the one-sided battle. As Kirishima didn't touch Sora even once.
