Only Rival
"Who is she? And whose ghost are you talking about?" Johns is questioning Abi but she is just staring.
"The girl on the wall. The one that was killed" Nice speaks, gaining a confused gaze from the guy.
"Wall?! Killed by who and why?"
Nice looks at Abi and she nods; giving her the go ahead. The brown skin girl starts telling about this whole ghost thing and how she almost died if not for Evans.
He was surprised "This unbelievable"
But she didn't mention about the evil Mrs. Jana brought upon the school since Emma's dead.

Nice tarried in her roommates room for the entire evening but didn't see Evan. He didn't show up and she assumed that he spent the night with Koryn. The following day she wakes up thinking of Evan and hoping that he and Koryn haven't reconciled.
But her thoughts seem the opposite when she walks in the dinning room sees Koryn aiming a kiss at Evan across the living room. She's seated opposite him while he leans unto his seat, wondering about what she said yesterday while staring at her.
Nice ignores all that and finds an empty seat on the dining table where she fools with the hem of her purple top. His eyes falls on Nice and at the same instance she looks at him.
She gives him a faint smile; trying to act normal and he renders a genuine one. Koryn notices that his gaze is no longer with her so she follows them to see Nice seated on the other side and staring her 'guy'. Her heart feels with anger.
Nice looks away but still feels Evan's gaze on her. She can't pretend everything is fine anymore. She has to keep looking at the empty table waiting for breakfast.
Evan leaves his chair and walks over to her. She's not knowledgeable of his closeness until he greets "Good morning, Beautiful"
She lifts her neck at once to meet his alluring eyes. He is wearing a black long sleeve shirt and a gray pair of short. His hair is neat and darker. Her eyes fall to his full lips that draw into a smirk as he studies her.
He coughs and she stops checking him out, and responding after a long wait "Good morning Evan"
Her face is flushed from embarrassment. He just called her 'beautiful' but she remembers that he still looks at Koryn some kind of way so she doesn't want his words or presence affecting her.
It's better she starts toasting away the moment they shared last time. It was just to make her feel better.
He round the table to sit next to her "Why do I feel you're keeping away from me?"
She shakes her head instantly staring at his face but not for so long when she looks back down at her fingers. Acting childish. But he loves it.
His presence keeps tormenting her and making her stomach growl. She stops doing what she's doing. Did he just hear that sound?
He looks ahead and pretends as though he heard nothing while withholding his smile. He doesn't want her to feel uncomfortable next to him.
She peeks at his direction and he is still facing ahead. She breathes out in relief. However, the fluttering in her stomach comes again louder than the latter.
Fuck!
He brings his head to her "Are you ok?"
She nods trying not to look at him, and praying he stops too.
It's becoming awkward for Nice to seat here in silence with the school's most handsome dude. Why is he not saying anything?
Thinking silence was better; now wishing it didn't exist. It's disturbing her mind and making her think forbidden things.
"You didn't come to see Abi yesterday?" she says questioningly and he gets the message at once.
She's been avoiding him because of the incident yesterday. She's Jealous?
He looks at her "I-" he doesn't know what to tell her.
"I was sorting something out" he responds plainly
She nods. Sorting what out? She wants to ask that but her mouth opens and closes.
"How is she doing?" he asks
She suddenly remembers that he doesn't know what exactly happened to Abi,"She's find but- she revealed something to us"
He looks at her expectantly, his chiseled jaws portraying all seriousness as she explains what Abi told her and Johns.
Their cook starts filling the table with a bunch of different meals, disturbing and distracting their conversation.
Koryn hurries and seats next to Evan while Jessica seats directly opposite him. And the rest of the students occupy the empty seats.

Mrs. Daigle has been calling Mrs. Jana to hear from her daughter but the woman doesn't pick any of her calls. She knows that she has no excuse telling about Nice's where about.
"Shit! This woman is not picking my calls" Victoria curses resting her phone on her seat.
"Don't you think it's too early? Maybe the kids are having their breakfast" her husband condones
Maybe not
She doesn't want to believe all those sweet talk. All she wants is to listen to her baby's voice.
"Wait a little longer. I'm sure she'd call you once they're free"
Mrs. Daigle nods just to please her husbands' words. But deep within she is unsettled.

Jon is standing out of Abi's room about to walk in when Johns shows up behind him, pocking his finger against his shoulder. Jon turns and faces a guy slightly taller than him and cuter, that he acknowledges.
"I assume you missed your way. The door to our room is ahead. Not here" Johns says, hands in his army jeans.
Jon gathers courage and steps close "I didn't tell you I needed help. So kindly leave"
Johns chuckles, scratching his pointed nose "You seem to have forgotten the environment we're living in. If I decide to murder you now, it'd be super easy for me to get rid of your body and your entire history in BHSC will be wiped off. No one will remember you. Not even God. You should use that same advice you just gave me on yourself"
Jon clenches his jaws "Don't act like you love her Johns. We all know what you did years ago. And we know that you have the whole teenage schoolgirls wrapped against your fingers. But Abi doesn't need any of that. She needs love; that only I can give to her"
"Yes, I hurt her and I know I am not worthy to return into her life but unlike you, I don't deceive her. You have been a negative force. You broke up with her when she needed you but I have never left her side. So do not preach to me about love. You should leave before you see my worse wrath. I don't repeat myself"
He sluggishly takes his leave and Johns walks into Abi'a room. She smiles after seeing him.
He gives her the same face and sits beside her on the bed. She picks her pen and writes something on a paper.
He eavesdrops to read what she wrote and she lets him. It was written 'To whom were you talking to behind the door?"
He is scared to tell her. How will she respond to his feedback?
"It was...just a random school kid blocking my way"
She's still darting her eyes at him as though he was not telling the truth. He gives her a simple grin and kisses her knuckles. This gesture makes her forget what she was thinking instantly. Her cheeks are rosy and he enjoys making her blush so he keeps doing it.
...
The sun is down and the night has come. All the teens decide to assemble and endure outside, with fire at the center to keep them warm. Nice is close to Abigale, Evan and Johns are facing each other while the two girls Koryn and Jessica seat next to one another.
The two female teens seem to get along with themselves. But why won't they do the same towards Nice? I guess she's their only rival. And that's why they'd cook something up to make her feel pains.
