Covered walls or chambers
"Where did she go?" I ask but Lexi gives a break before responding still in the same posture "She just followed him some moments ago"
What does she mean some moments ago? It's been seconds since Evans walked in and there is no way Abigale most have disappeared into that place.
"You can go check for yourself if you think I'm lying," she says as though she was in my mind then looks at me and smiles.
For some reason, I wasn't feeling comfortable next to her so, I decided to go and look for Abi since my legs won't swell or would I lose any part of my body in the process.
Rising, I walk through the dancing crowd and undefined conversation towards the huge material hiding the other side which I'm not certain how it looks like and what people do there.
I paused for a second to take in a heavy breath because of the panic I felt and the overly pounding of my heart before rapidly opening the cloth and slipping in.
To my greatest shock, it was an empty chamber filled with dust and a young lady's pictures posted on the four corners of its walls.
Looking to my right I saw a shadow moving into an enclosed expanse from a corridor.
What will Abigale or anyone be doing here? I question myself still studying the corridor.
Turning to my left, I see another shadow moving through another corridor with a sharp sound like that of an awl provoking my heart to pound more than it already is.
"Abigale!" I shout her name knowing very well she is playing with me.
"Could you come out already…I know you're hiding somewhere" I raise my voice yet, no responds.
Still, on my spot, my eyes fall unto one of the pics of the girl who was posted on the four walls of the room that was currently facing me. Her look exposed as though she was gazing deeply into my eyes causing me to flinched and my chest starts moving up and down.
Suddenly, I began hearing a male voice from outside and that of Abigale. When I try to turn around, my body just feels weak and becomes stiff. I���ve been sick before, but never have I felt this dizzy as I feel now. This was more than paralyzes or any form of stroke. I gave in all my strength to pull away from the eyes of the girl in the wall and the force holding me back but keeps failing until I felt someone standing behind me strongly but when I looked into the glass on the frame, the was no one. This instantly contracted the mussels of my skin and I felt shells on my entire body as though something was surrounding me. Still, what got me most, was the feeling of someone standing in front of me but definitely can't see him/her. Due to that, I scream before someone walks in pulling me towards them causing me to look up and picture Evan's giving me a soft gaze while my heart doesn't stop skipping. Without having second thoughts, I fall into his arms and he holds me tight as though we knew each other for a long.
I've never felt so in need of a hug or safe with anyone the way I feel with him.
"That's ok" he assures robing my coils.
"Let's get you out of here" he walks me out after looking back at the untidy extent.
Arriving out, he lowered his head meeting my height and pierced into my sable iris while I struggled in sketching out his features through the deem lights of the hall but failed adequately.
"Could you not mention what you just saw to anyone…" he required more than a solicitation.
I speedily nodded staring at him blankly still recovering from the sudden heart failure.
"Where you there all this while?" a query slipped my lips as I grooved my temples but was interrogated by Abigale's call from I don't know what end as I coned the mob.
Bringing my gaze back to him, we stared into each other eyes silently before I let out "Thank you for the rescue…I was-"
"No need. Just make sure you keep away from every clothed wall or whatsoever is beyond it in this school." He warned cross-examining my soul causing me to abide by every instruction or word he utters with sealed lips like I was being hypnotized.
Before I could regain my senses, he slipped past some dudes blending with the crowd. I stood there frozen for some time before looking back at the clothed chamber with a lot of mysteries sailing in my mind.
Abigale's second call drives me into instant consciousness as I spot her waving for me to come over which I do without hesitation, formulating my way towards her.
Still inches away, she says "Where the hell have you been?" above the boom of music-making people crazy with their hands in the air while others make out at some angles, so disgusting I speak within visualizing a pair of teen against the wall sharing saliva before regaining my sights on Abigale who has a clearly worried appearance.
"I've been searching for you everywhere like crazy" she adds after getting no response from me while I stare at her solemnly still having crashes of what took place some minutes ago.
"You have no notion how worried I was thinking you were knocked out by some dude or maybe fell into the hands of a player who took advantage of you" she continues cupping my semi-square face and directing it on either side while studying my features.
"Why are you so silent?" she asks letting go of my jaws while I walk past her to a nearby seat.
"Did you see a ghost?" was her next question as I settled on the seat looking at her blankly while my head says she ask as though she was there with me.
"Can you please stop staring at me like that! You're scaring the angel out of me with that look of yours." She fades
"Sorry" is all I say looking away then back at her who is expecting more "Well, I was looking for you too, that's why I left my spot. In other words, you need to tell me where you ran off to" I let out
Sitting next to me, she sighs "I ran towards my boyfriend immediately I spotted him amongst the crowd but he didn't seem happy seeing me which ended up in misunderstandings that brought about the truth as he mentioned unknowingly how tired he was seeing me and needed a breakup" she announced in one breath causing me to weary my already wearied look.
Bringing her gaze to me, she cheered "Don't give me that look, I'm fine. Trust me…I saw it coming though I couldn't derive the time to question his sudden abnormal behavior."
"I'm so sorry Abi" I condoled
"Don't be because it was kind of my fault for letting him close to Syrah in the first place" she broke up
"How could he leaving you be your fault and who is Syrah?" I inquired
"Syrah is our roommate. A friend to Jessica…" she answers then continues "Whenever my boyfriend sneaked to our dorm to see me, Syrah always claimed to cover up for us but the was a time I was sound asleep when he came to see me and she told him I wasn't in the mood to see anyone. Due to that, I and Jon had a world war and from then, he began keeping a distance from me but always got close to Syrah."
I stared at her unbelievably before completing her words "And…they became couples"
"Exactly!" she approves "All the times he behaved uncommonly, they were having an affair behind my notions" staring at one direction.
I followed her gaze and found Syrah with a guy which I guess must be her ex, Jon.
