69 chapter 66: Meeting Luke

Then the four came to where Luke was staying and saw the whole cabin was filled with electronic devices.

Luke was playing a game on a sofa while sitting on a couch.

"Luke"

Hearing someone calling his name, Luke turned his head and saw the four and said

"Hey, guys."

"Percy, Alex. I figured you would stop by sooner or later."

"Everybody does, just to get to get some fresh air and for a new environment "

As Luke stood from the sofa, he asked, "welcome to the modern world, so what do you four want?".

"Cool, where did you get all this from?" asked Grover

"I got them because of some connections," said Luke

"So, what are you guys up to?" asked Luke observing the four

"We are aiming to get my mom back," said Percy

"Cool, where is your mom?" asked Luke

"in the underworld "

"Wow, I have to say you've got the guts to go to the underworld "

"You know if you go to the underworld you can die, it is very risky. So do you still want to do it?"

"Yes," said Percy

As Luke rubbed his chin, he asked, "So you want to know the way to the underworld?"

"Yes, your dad is the messenger of the gods, one of the only ones who's gotten in and out of the underworld"

"Do you have any idea how?" asked Annabeth

"It seems like you all decided to go to the underworld."

"Yes, we've decided," said all at the same time.

"Truth be told, I don't know much about how my dad travels to the underworld."

"He is a total jerk. He does not care about me."

"I've never met him," said Luke with an expressionless face

"You too?" asked Percy

"Guess we all got daddy issues, huh? That's because all gods are the same. Selfish "

"They only care about themselves."

Alex who heard this had a sour expression on his face. Although he didn't care about Luke bad-mouthing other gods. But calling all gods selfish includes Alex.

It angers him when someone blames everyone for one's mistake. Like Luke discriminating against all Gods because his father is an asshole.

Annabeth glanced at Alex's face and said, "Can you not talk about gods? It hurts someone." She thought it would be wise not to speak of gods in front of Alex as he was also a god.

"Who is that?" asked Luke, not understanding what Annabeth was saying.

Percy and Grover also saw Alex's face. When they saw the sour look on his face, they thought it was wise not to discuss gods. As they don't want to piss off Alex.

"Yeah let's not talk about gods now, it is not a suitable topic for now," said Percy.

"Haha yes yes, let's talk about how to travel to the underworld," said Grover while laughing and Annabeth was talking with Alex

"It seems you don't like talking badly about your parents."

We don't want to talk about that and piss off Alex.

"What do you mean by secret visitors?" asked Percy

"You know what I mean?" he asked Luke with a knowing smile

Seeing that the four understood and thought

They can't blame her. After getting married to Hades, anyone would do the same. Who can bear to stay alone with that weirdo?

That's better than being alone with that weirdo in the underworld.

" And also for their escape, she prepared blue pearls, which can help them to escape from the underworld "

"As long as you put the pearls under your feet, crush them and think about the place you want to visit, then you can escape the underworld."

"So where can we find these pearls? Are they available in some kind of shop?" asked Percy not knowing where the pearls are found.

"Do you think they are some kind of vegetables that are available in some kind of shop?" asked Luke.

"How can we find them?" asked Annabeth

Luke then began searching through the racks, where various boxes were kept. Then Luke took a package from a rack and gave it to Percy.

"For you," said Luke handing a box to Percy

Then Percy opened the box and saw a pair of shoes with wings and one shoe began to fly

"Flying shoes?" said Percy as one shoe started flying towards Luke

"Yeah," said Luke as he caught the shoe and put it back in the box.

"Look underneath it."

Then Percy lifted the shoes and saw yellow paper folded under them.
