Chapter 152 : Talk at Tavern

The tavern was noisy and lively, filled with people of all ages and walks of life. There was laughter and music, and the smell of ale and roasted meat wafted through the air. From the corner, a bard was playing a lively tune on his lute. It was a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and everyone seemed to be having a great time.

They even forgot about the pirate attack the previous night.

At one table

Alex and Jack were talking, while Will was tied to a chair.

"So, Alex what is the gift you are talking about?"

"You will see it soon."

"Be ready we are heading to the island of death " said Alex, while drinking

"You mean that?"

"Yes, we have someone to save and you can also have your revenge," said Alex as he knew about Jack's past.

"But we don't have a ship and crew to travel to the Island of Death."

"In regard to the ship, I have a ship and crew that we don't need; the ship can travel by itself," said Alex looking at the inventory in which he stored the ship which he brought when he arrived on this planet.

"But we need crew if we want to travel to Death Island," said Jack as he thought of the journey to Death Island.

"You will know when you see that ship," said Alex with a smile

"But where is your ship?" Jack asked as he didn't see any type of big ship with Alex while he was travelling with Alex.

"It is in a secret place."

"Why don't you tell me where your ship is?"

"Don't even think about trying to steal it."

"When did I steal anything from you?" asked Jack looking like he was wronged

"Do you want me to remind you how you stole my money when we first met and also continued to steal my things until now?"

"You even stole my purse yesterday," said Alex, recalling how Jack always takes things without asking and does not return them.

"I was just borrowing them. You have to share things with your friends " said Jack with an innocent smile. As he looked like he didn't do anything wrong.

"When are you planning to release me?" asked Will.

Hearing that Jack and Alex turned their towards will

"Release you, no I want something from you," said Jack

"Are you sure you can handle this guy?" asked Alex as he looked at Will.

"Are you underestimating me?"

"No"

"Okay , let's go and prepare for our journey "

"As for you boy, I ask you to cooperate,if you do anything that will irritate me "

"I will not kill you,but I will make you believe it is better to die than live " said Alex

Alex said this with a threatening tone in his voice, giving Will a clear warning of what could happen if he did not cooperate.

Will who heard the threat had a terrible feeling that the man in front of him was more dangerous.

"Yes, you better listen to him. He will kill you if you do anything funny."

"He is not as kind as I am," said Jack with a smug smile

Both Will and Alex had a deadpan expressions on their faces, not sure if Jack was being serious or not.

"Okay, time to get serious," said Alex

Like that time passed slowly.

At Afternoon

It was midday, the port was peaceful and still, the sun shining brightly in the sky. The air was warm and heavy, and birds were chirping in the trees. Every now and then a light breeze would rustle the leaves, providing a moment of respite from the heat.

Alex stood with Jack and Will at the port while they waited for someone.

"Alex, who are we waiting for?" asked Jack

"Well, you will know when you see it," said Alex, as he sensed Elizabeth coming towards Port and smiled, but his smile froze as he saw the soldiers behind her

"You two get in the boat and start moving," said Alex

"You will not come?" asked Jack

"I will come after dealing with some insignificant bugs"

"Okay "

"Where are you taking me? Release me this minute!" roared Will in an attempt to untie himself from the ropes.

"No you are also coming with us," said Jack as he dragged Will while Will was struggling.

After that Jack and Will boarded the boat and the boat started moving.

Then Elizabeth arrived with soldiers following her behind.

"Why did you bring all these soldiers?" asked Alex as he looked at the soldiers behind Elizabeth

"No, I didn't ask for them," responded Elizabeth with a depressed expression. She just wanted to notify Norrington about it. But after she said that, he followed her, saying it was risky for her to meet a pirate alone.
