Chapter 42: Transformation

While Alex and Carlos were talking, Claire approached them.

"So, when are we going to leave?" Claire asked.

"If you're ready, we can leave now," Alex replied.

"Where are the helicopters?" Claire inquired.

"Here, and I programmed the coordinates of Alaska into them," Alex explained as he took out the helicopters from his inventory.

"Okay, all of you, board the helicopters. We are leaving," Claire announced.

"Mister, you said you would turn into a dragon after dealing with them," Kmart, who was standing in front of Alex, reminded him.

"Okay, I will turn into it. Don't get scared," Alex reassured.

"Okay, I won't," Kmart replied.

"Little White, are you coming too?" Alex asked.

"Yes," she confirmed.

Since Alex had already transformed into a dragon in front of Alice, she knew he had the ability.

Alex moved 50 meters away from them, closed his eyes, and his body began to change. His hands and legs turned into pitch-black claws with golden lines, his body turned pitch-black, and a pair of black wings and a tail emerged. Soon, Alex transformed into a 100-meter Western black dragon with golden lines.

"Roar!" Alex let out a mighty roar, causing their hearts to tremble with fear.

"What the hell is he?" one of them exclaimed.

"It seems what he said is true," Claire remarked, observing Alex in his dragon form.

"Yes, who would have thought Alex wasn't joking when he said he's a creature from a fairy tale," Carlos added.

Alex, in his dragon form, approached Alice and Kmart.

"Hehehe, now do you believe it?" Alex communicated through telepathy.

Kmart, who heard the voice in her mind, responded, "Wow, mister, you are so beautiful, and you have so many powers!"

"Of course, I'm beautiful," Alex said, with a smug look on his dragon face.

"Please, can I ride on your back?" Kmart asked.

"Kmart, aren't you afraid?" Alice questioned.

"No, mister is a kind person," Kmart replied.

"Okay, do you three want to ride on my back?" Alex offered.

"Yes," they all replied.

"Okay," Alex said, using his telekinesis power to lift the three of them and place them on his back.

"Wow, mister, your skin is so smooth," Kmart commented.

"Of course," Alex responded.

"Alex, can you fly now?" Alice inquired.

"Okay," Alex agreed. He opened his wings, flapped them, and lifted them off the ground. He set up telekinetic walls around the three to ensure they would not fall and to protect them from the effects of air pressure.

"Wow, we are flying!" Kmart shouted with a big smile on his face.

"How is it? Do you like it?" Alex said as he flew above the clouds.

"Yes, I love it," Luna replied.

"Little White, now you know how awesome your brother is," Alex said.

"Yes, now I know," Luna acknowledged.

"Alex, can you give her a good name besides White Queen?" Kmart suggested.

"Yes, a fitting name for her," Alex agreed.

"Well, let me think of a good name," Alex pondered.

"How about Luna?" Kmart proposed.

"That seems like a good name for her," Alex agreed.

"Yes," Luna confirmed.

"Okay, from today onwards, your name is Luna Walker, and you are my little sister," Alex declared.

"How about it? Do you like your new name?" Alex asked Luna.

"Yes, and thank you, big brother," Luna expressed her gratitude.

"Wow, this is the first time you've called me big brother," Alex remarked.

"It seems like you're also enjoying your human life, Luna," Alex commented.

"I don't understand it fully yet," Luna admitted.

"How are people happy even in this kind of situation? I don't understand their behavior," Luna asked, recalling the happiness of the group when they learned they could live safely.

"Humans are like that. They can find happiness in their daily lives," Alex explained.

"Happiness can come from family, friends, or anything," Alex continued.

"Humans are creatures who find hope and happiness in anything, even in this Apocalypse-filled world," Alex added.

"Look at the Claire group. They live with the hope of finding a new place to live safely. That is their motivation to live. And my motivation to live is an adventure," Alex elaborated.

"Without hope, humans wouldn't be able to live. Humans can show kindness that rivals God's and can also show cruelty that makes demons inferior to them," Alex stated.

"That's what makes humans special in the entire universe," Alex concluded.

"So, understanding humans isn't possible through mere data. Do you understand now, Luna?" Alex asked after explaining.

"It seems humans are very complex creatures," Luna said, nodding her head.

"Yes, that is what makes them unique," Alex agreed.

"And now, you are also one of them," Alex said with a kind voice as they continued flying.

"Okay, brother," Luna replied.

"Welcome to your new life, Luna," Alice welcomed her, responding to Alex's words.

"Thank you," Luna expressed her gratitude with a smile, feeling a new warm feeling in her heart.

"Alice, I have something to say," Alex began.

"What is it, Alex?" Alice inquired.

"After capturing Arcaida, I'm going to travel around the world alone," Alex revealed.

"And you are staying with the group," he continued.

"Why?" Alice asked, confused.

"I am going to attack Umbrella HQ. It might be a problem to take you with me," Alex explained.

"How long are you going to be away?" Alice questioned.

"Not that long, just for one year," Alex assured her.

"In one year, I will deal with Umbrella and find a solution for the virus," Alex stated.

"Okay," said Alice with a sad expression.

"No need to be sad. I have a gift for you before I leave," Alex said, noticing the notification in front of him.
