The next day after Carl woke up and was ready for the days events, there was a knock on his room door. Walking to the door, after finishing putting on his shirt, he opened it to find both Bulma and launch(blond hair). When they saw Carl open the door, bulmas face got red and she averted her eyes and launch just had a slight blush as she sternly looked at Carl. Carl quirked an eyebrow in greetings and asked, "morning ladies. What can I do for you?"

Bulma coming out of her thoughts refocuses on Carl calming herself down, with her only having a slight blush now, "u-umm, I- we wanted to know if you wanted to join our group for breakfast?" She asked meekly playing with her hands.

Carl smirked at Bulmas attitude, thinking it was cute, and replies, "sure I was about to head down any-"

Before Carl could finish his sentence launch grabbed his arm and started dragging him down to the lobby's restaurant, "great. I mean of cores you would say yes. Who wouldn't want to eat with us?" Launch said and Carl thought how true her statement is for people in his original world, as he was dragged by launch who is hugging his arm tightly as if he would run away. Carl didn't forget to use the force to shut his door and lock it.

After seeing launch hug Carls arm and start dragging him away Bulma exclaimed, "hey launch, what do you think you're doing? You said you didn't care if he came or not." Bulma said as she started to follow. Launch simply said she didn't know what she was talking about, causing Bulmas cheeks to puff in annoyance.

Bulma then smirked as she hugged carls other arm. Launch this time glared at Bulma in annoyance and asked her what she was doing. "oh? It's a gentlemen's job to escort a beautiful lady such as I, so it's only natural for Carl to lend me his arm." Bulma replied as she hugged Carls arm tighter, makeing launch also tighten her grip on carls other arm.

Carl could only watch the back and forth afraid to say anything in fear of getting a verbal backlash. He could only think, 'how did I get in this mess?' As the two women stare daggers at one another on their way to the restaurant.

At the restaurant, the dragon crew and Carl all sat at a table with goku eating as fast as he could. Carl was eating almost as much as goku but he ate like a normal person instead of an animal. Yamcha was staring daggers at Carl all throughout breakfast because of bulma hanging off of carls arm as they entered. It also doesn't help that she has been only talking to Carl and hasn't acknowledged Yamcha besides a greeting.

Then there is launch who seems to have done a complete 180 from the other day. 'That or she's trying to lower my guard' Carl thinks as he looked at the blond who locked her arm with Carl as if he would run. Carl doesn't want to act like a dense protagonist but blond launch is kinda hard to figure out.

Carl was brought out of his thoughts by Roshi asking Goku, "my boy, are you ready for your match today? You'll be facing that chioutzu boy."

Goku, after slurping down some noodles, replied while nodding, "I haven't seen him fight but I'm ready to win" he has his hand in the air at the end.

Master Roshi nods, "hmm, I see." He then eyed some young girls going by and gets a goofy face as he stares at their butts. "Excuse me a moment." He then gets up and followed them.

Carl could only shake his head at master Roshis antics. He then felt a slap on his arm, "what about you? You'll be facing Jackie Chun, the last champ. You think you got it?" Carl looked to his side to launch who just spoke.

Carl thought on it then shrugged as he replied, "that's a hard one. I'm confident I can win but he can always have a trick up his sleeve." That was the truth. If Carl remembered right master Roshis power level should be around 180 along with Goku. He forgets Tiens but he thinks it's around there as well. So according to that he is 20 levels higher than them, and 30 if pushed. Carl remembers a lot of fun facts about dragon ball like that because that was his favorite show. Which is why he was bummed when he found out dragon ball wasn't a thing in the MCU.

Bulma then put a hand on his shoulder, "don't worry I'm sure you can win. You have some tricks of your own I bet?" She said as she smiled at him, remembering how he made the bullets launch shot at him stop in mid air before falling to the floor.

Carl looked to Bulma and smiled at her while replying, "thanks. And I guess I do have a few." She beams a smile at Carl. Carl could see Yamcha to the side stabbing his food most likely wishing he was stabbing Carl. Carl could only think, 'I don't know what your problem is….well I do but its not my fault. She's coming on to me. Just shows you're not up to the task like in the future.' And Carl smirked as he remembered he basically had two beautiful women hanging off him. He then widen his eyes at his last bit of thoughts. 'Hold on, we're did that come from?' Carl thought as he shook his head to get his thought straight.

Bulma noticed his actions and asked if he was alright putting a hand to his forehead. He simply assured her he was, with launch telling her of cores he was alright. As breakfast continued Carl pondered on his resent behavior and mood swings, contributing it to his new saiyan nature. Carl thought when he made the wish there would be a slight change in temperament, but nothing like this.

(Just some information for the readers. I'm having it that he will be a little more influence than normal by his saiyan temperament thanks to the force. It won't outright change him but there will be sparks from time to time.)

After breakfast Carl was able to seperate from launch's grasp and excused himself because the tournament was going to start back up soon. Getting into the building Carl could see the other competitors. Yamcha decided to watch from the crowd with everyone els. Walking up to goku he asked, "you ready for your match?"

Goku grinned and replied, "you bet. Master Roshi did some last minute training with me and I also went for a run so I'm all pumped." He flexed at the end of his speech. Carl just reminded goku to not let his guard down.

Shortly after both Goku and Chioutzu were both called up to the ring. "And now ladies and gentlemen, the last match of the quarter finals is about to begin. We have our runner up from last year son Goku from the turtle hermit school under master Roshi." The crowd cheers. He then gestured to Chioutzu. "And over here we have Chioutzu from the rival of the turtle school the Crane Will the outcome be like the last with a victory over the turtle or will the Crane fall." Then a gong sound was heard. "Begin"

Goku got in a fighting stance but Chioutzu just stood like a statue, then chioutzu started to float a few inches off the ground making everybody gasp in shock. Carl only smiled wryly because after seeing the namekian fly all the time the novelty wore off.

Chioutzu quickly flew over to goku without even moving, like picking up a chess piece and moving it, then went for a kick. Goku dodged the attack and they quickly started exchanging blows with goku pushing Chioutzu back to the edge. Once at the edge Chioutzu jumped into the air out of gokus reach.

Chioutzu then started to charge dodon waves and shoot them consecutively at goku who dodged the shots. One of shot that Goku barely dodged he got hit by the explosion and fell back. This cause chiouztu to get closer to try and finish him off. To the surprise of many as Goku fell back he did a back flip then vanished from sight going super fast.

Tien tried to warn Chioutzu that Goku was coming from his left but Chioutzu wasn't that smart so while he was figuring out what side was left Goku appeared and spin kicked Chioutzu right out the right due to his distraction. "And the winner by ring out is Goku. We will take a 10 min break to fix up the ring." After that Goku was happily coming back as Chioutzu walked back to Tien with his head down. Everyone dispersed, waiting on the next match, Carl versus Jackie Chun.
