14 ch 14

After Ahsoka and Rex left, for the rest of the time before school started, carl built up the defensive of his home. He installed a shield like the droidikas that will cover his whole property when activated. He also set up a sensor perimeter that covered a little past his property for surveillance.

Carl also during this time solved his transportation issue. He does have his speeder bike but he can't really take that out driving in the city so he took the time and went to a used car dealership and bought a used 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. Carl did toy with the idea of getting a delorean but decided against it thinking that would be too geeky of him. The Camaro was a junker car and barely ran but Carl didn't care cause he was going to modify it anyway.

Once Carl got the car back to his house he immediately gutted the car leaving only the frame. It took some time and a lot of hard work but when Carl was done he had a car that looked exactly like a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, black with green stripes down the middle. Underneath the hood tho, instead of the engine, was the power source that ran the CIS tanks but highly customized. It was reinforced with plating from the Star fighter droids and also had installed a shield generator like the droidikas. There was three modes to drive with. The first one was regular mode which means driving it normally. Second was hover mode and in this mode Carl took inspiration from back to the future so when the vehicle hovered the wheels tilt in sideways underneath letting the car glide seamlessly across the surface. The last mode was flight mode and in this mode the car looks the same as in hover mode but the back reveals boosters that will help it achieve greater speed in the air. Once all that was done Carl use the remaining of his time learning mechanics and coding.

It didn't take long for the first day of school to come. Carl decided to leave his lightsaber at home only taking his portable shield generator that he can keep concealed and he can use his force powers if anything comes up.

Arriving at the school Carl could see all the other teenagers being dropped off and getting off busses. He made his way to student parking not paying attention to the stares he was getting due to his car.

After parking and grabbing his things Carl made his way into the building to the principal's office to get his schedule for his classes. After getting his schedule Carl made his way to his homeroom.

Getting to the class Carl could see it already had a few people conversing with one another. Carl made his way to the back and claimed the so called 'protagonist' seat in the far back by the window. Once there he didn't really pay any mind to anyone els as he thinks to himself.

Not long after Carl was brought out of his thoughts by the bell ringing signaling the start of class. This prompted the teacher to introduce himself and had everyone in the class due so as well one by one. After introductions were done class began. Carl answered any questions asked of him and found it easy to follow along.

After so much time lunch finally came. After arriving in the cafeteria and getting his lunch Carl was about to find a seat when he noticed some kids that look to be picking on two other kids that look vaguely familiar, a scrawny white kid and a chubby Asian kid.

Not liking bullying Carl went straight up to them, "is there a problem?" Carl said standing next to them.

The bully's seamed startled that someone would confront them. The leader from the looks of it puts on a fake smile. " no problem here. Just having a friendly chat with our good buddy's here. isn't that right?" He directs his question to his group who nods their heads.

Carl looks at them all then to the two boys being bullied who seam to be saying with their eyes that they are full of shit. He then looked at the leader and said, "well I suggest taking your 'friendly chat' elsewhere."

The fake smile the bully had vanished and was about to say something els but he noticed that they started to draw in a crowd. He just scoffed, "fine, it's getting boring here anyway." The bully got up and left with his friends but a glint in his eye said that it wasn't over.

After watching the bully's leave Carl drew his attention to the two boys that were getting bullied and they seamed to have looks of amazement that someone would come and defend them. " you two ok?" Carl asked and they both just nodded their heads. "Is it alright if I sit here?" He asked seeing that there were seats available.

The scrawny boy first got out of his daze and spoke up, " o-oh sure. Ya you can sit with us." With the chubby Asian kid nodding in agreement. After sitting down Carl introduced himself causing the scrawny boy to apologize. " oh I'm s-sorry, my name is Peter Parker and this is my best friend Ned Leeds."

Peter put is hand on said Ned's shoulder as he introduced him which caused him to come to his senses and Ned replied, "yes I'm Ned. You were so cool standing up to those guys." He then went on to describe the event adding flare and dramatics to the encounter.

As Ned was going on and on, Carl after hearing both their names looked at them both and indeed they looked like slightly younger versions of their movie actor counterparts. Carl was confused cause he thought they were younger at this time. Not thinking much on it he continued chatting with Peter and Ned finding similar interests in sci-fyi stuff such as Star Wars and Star Trek.

The rest of the day was uneventful with regular classes. Once school ended everyone was leaving. Carl met up with Peter and Ned on the way out till they had to part as they took a bus to school and Carl drove his car. Once Carl was able to see his car he was also able to make out three people standing near it. Getting closer Carl could make out it was the bullies from earlier during lunch.

Once the bullies noticed Carl they grinned, "well, what a coincidence running into you." The leader said as they stood in front of Carl.

Carl stopped walking not far from them and observed them while replying with a raised eyebrow, "not much of a coincidence if your all waiting for me."

The leaders grinned wider as his two goons moved to surround him, "we were just admiring the ride you got here. In fact I think we should take it off your hands. It's obviously wasted on someone like you." And he had his hand out like it was a given fact that Carl would just give him his car.

Carl couldn't help but chuckle at the balls this guy had. 'He must be use to getting his way all the time and hasn't experienced any downfall. Too bad I'm not one to roll over so easily.' Carl thought to himself then. "Ya I'm just going to say no to that." He could feel their shock through the force and couldn't help but chuckle again.

The leader scowled and said. " I don't think you realize you don't have a choice. If you haven't realize yet there's three of us and one of you." And before Carl could say anything, in a cliché move from the leader he snapped his fingers causing his two friends to charge at Carl with fists ready to strike.

Carl already predicting were things were heading was ready for the surprise attack and simply side stepped the first strike grabbing the kid and using the momentum to spin around causing him to knock into the other making them both fall to the ground in a tumble. This caused Carl to have his back to the leader so he tried to get in a cheap shot to the back of his head. Carl feeling the attack through the force quickly spun around avoided the punch thrown at him while grabbing the extended arm. Carl then quickly, using the momentum again, flipped the leader over and onto his friends making them all groan in pain.

After seeing they were all done fighting Carl went over to his car, unlocked it, then went inside and opened a specific slot and pulled out what looked like a SD memory card. Putting the card into his phone Carl was going through it till he found what he wanted. Carl walked up to the bullies who were now recovering and leaning up off the ground. Before they could stand up Carl played the video of their altercation from the cars point of view. Carl installed cameras around his car just in case situations like this come up.

As the group watch the video it dawned on them that Carl now had evidence of there assault on him and before they could think Carl said, "I could go to the police with this and we could have a nice chat with them." At the mention of police their faces became pale and Carl smirked coming up with an idea. "But I'll overlook this if." Carl then raised his hand and waved it in front of them saying, "you will leave me and my friends alone." Carl hasn't tried doing the Jedi mind trick before but apparently these guys weren't very bright cause right after they immediately repeated what Carl said with a glazed look in their eyes. He then waved his hand again, "you want to go home and rethink your lives." Carl thought it was funny using obiwans lines but thought it was appropriate for the situation.

The bullies repeated what Carl said then got up and started heading home. Carl looked around and noticed that there was no one els around. Those guys must have done something to make sure there were no witnesses which worked out just fine for Carl. After getting everything situated he got in his car and headed home.
