184 Sold Out and Still Counting Money

If Russell were an ordinary person, he might have felt a bit embarrassed when Kara, with her charming appearance and tempting figure, said such things to his face. However, Russell was not an ordinary person.

When Kara seriously spoke about his past impure thoughts, he poured himself a cup of tea and calmly replied, "You're right, I did have some unhealthy thoughts back then. But you can't blame it all on me; you have your share of responsibility too. Who made you so good-looking and dressed so alluringly!"

Russell had some reservations initially, but when he heard Kara's remark about him acting like a woman, he completely dismissed all his concerns. After all, he wasn't a good person, so he didn't need to worry too much about such things.

"Did you really think I was good-looking back then?" Kara suddenly changed the topic, her delicate and fair face showing an expectant expression.

"Of course! You're young, good-looking, and have a great figure. Besides, your super short skirt and midriff-baring outfit look great," Russell said calmly as he took a sip of tea.

Hearing his words, Kara's face lit up with a happy expression.

She was indeed easily satisfied!

Watching Kara's happy expression, Russell couldn't help but shake his head.

Kara had far more strength than an ordinary person, but in the end, she was still a young girl with limited experience. Girls her age were easily impressed by trivial things and compliments.

"Now I understand why Diana liked you," Kara said seriously. "You're an honest, good man."

"Good man?" Russell looked at Kara with a somewhat pitying gaze. This girl was truly naive! Fortunately, Kara had encountered him first in this world. If she had met other unscrupulous men, she would probably have been taken advantage of completely.

"Alright, let's not talk about that. Let's have dinner first!" Russell decided to end the conversation to avoid lowering his own IQ due to Kara's influence.

Soon, the restaurant's waitstaff served a variety of delicious dishes.

Although some family restaurants in the United States adapted their cuisine to cater to American tastes, the one chosen by No. 3 was clearly not one of them.

After the dishes were served, Russell paid no attention to Kara's puzzled expression and began tasting the dishes in front of him.

"Um... didn't you say we were going to do that thing?" Kara asked with a flushed face.

"Even if we do, we should eat first," Russell looked at Kara and calmly replied, "The chefs here are very skilled; you should give it a try."

"Oh!" Kara picked up her chopsticks and started tasting the dishes in front of her.

While Kara might not be as fond of family restaurant cuisine as Diana, Russell had taken her out to eat family restaurant food several times during their time as a "couple."

Over half an hour later, a satisfied Russell, with Kara, left the restaurant.

He threw Kara's shopping bags of various sizes into the system's storage.

When they reached the restaurant's entrance, Russell tipped the valet who had parked his car in front of the door. Then, he walked up to his armor, which was parked in the parking space.

With a thought, the Endosymbiotic Battle Armor transformed into silver-white liquid and enveloped his body.

During the process of putting on the suit, pedestrians in the vicinity took out their phones and started taking pictures of him.

After noticing the Endosymbiotic Battle Armor parked there, these pedestrians had gathered, eagerly awaiting Russell's appearance.

Flying around the city in his battle armor was no longer surprising to the citizens of New York. However, there were few videos and photos of him wearing the suit.

"Let's go to the apartment I bought for you last time; you can fly there yourself," Russell said.

"Sure!" Kara replied with a nasal tone.

After donning the Endosymbiotic Battle Armor, Russell activated the flight engines, and blue-white flames shot from his feet as he flew toward the apartment he had originally purchased for Kara.

Once Russell had flown away, Kara also took off into the sky in front of everyone.

Luckily, she was wearing pants this time, not a super short skirt like the Supergirl costume. Otherwise, there might have been news about that in the entertainment sections of some newspapers tomorrow.

When both Russell and Kara had left, the crowd that had gathered in front of the restaurant quickly dispersed.

In just a few minutes, Russell and Kara arrived at the apartment they had purchased but never lived in.

Although they hadn't lived there, Russell had it redecorated according to his preferences after purchasing it.

After returning to the apartment, Russell went to the liquor cabinet, took out a bottle of Scotch whisky, and poured himself a glass.

After finishing the whisky in the glass in one gulp, he turned to Kara and asked, "Would you like to take a bath first? Or maybe, together?"

Russell had fully embraced his persona now and calmly suggested to Kara.

"Well... I mean, is it really okay for us to do that?" Kara stood in the living room, her face flushed as she spoke haltingly. As she spoke, she unconsciously played with her golden curls.

"Is it not okay? You didn't say that back at the restaurant," Russell said, approaching Kara directly. He grabbed her delicate chin, and made her look up at him.

"I...," Kara's confidence, which had been hard to muster, instantly weakened.

"Alright, if you're feeling embarrassed, then I'll take care of it!" Russell said as he lifted Kara like a princess and headed straight for the bathroom.

Kara had no experience in such matters, so feeling unsure was normal. However, Russell was well-experienced.

If he couldn't handle someone like Kara, who had no experience, he would truly be inadequate.

After carrying Kara into the bathroom, Russell closed the bathroom door.

Before long, the sound of water running filled the bathroom.

...

Russell and Kara did not return to their apartment in the Sky Apartment that night.

Although they didn't return, Russell didn't forget to inform Diana in advance that he wouldn't be coming home tonight.

While Diana could have guessed this on her own, it was better to inform her proactively than to have her find out later.

That night, Russell and Kara had a very enjoyable time together, with only a few minor mishaps along the way.

For example, Kara accidentally applied too much force and broke the bed, but other than that, everything went smoothly.
