Chapter 30
Thomas has a smile on his face as soon as he saw the caller's name on the phone. This person managed to calm him down and brought out some feelings which cannot be expressed in words.
He picked up the call excitedly wishing to hear that voice which was seen to have a hypnotic effect on him but the person on the other side of the call isn't as excited as him.
" Where the hell are you, Thomas? I thought you would arrive early to pick me up. Instead, you are so late and make me stand here. Just you wait..." That person raged at Thomas for not arriving before time and started to rain her temper on him.
This is his current girlfriend and the only girl so far who has stuck the string of his heart, Angela Grace. She is a Business advisor and helps her father in taking care of his industry.
They both has been together for about six months now. She has arrived here at Gotham from London via plane to attend the party he threw on occasion of the first hospital of his Hospital chains which Thomas has decided to establish.
She is a sweet girl who can make anyone fall for her, but it doesn't mean she is shy. No she is very bold and is very adamant in making sure people are aware of her opinion and won't let things which she doesn't agree with happen around her.
Just like Thomas, she herself is a girl from Rich family. Her family is London based and has been one of nobles. Her father is Count of England and has been involved in Real Estate and Transportation.
Because of that, they have enough money under their hands to live their life without working.
Her mother on the other hand is a Doctor like Thomas's, but she is a Surgeon in the field of Cardiology.
Both Her mother and Thomas mother has studied in the same college and been friends since then. As such they have known each other for years.
Because of this, their parents ( from both sides though father are convinced by their respective wives) bad decided to make plans and make them a couple.
Both the kids know about this and decided to play along. This plan was made when they don't know each other well. Their initial date under their parent planning and they continued to meet until their relationship status became to what it is now.
In their initial date, Thomas has told her about not wishing to get attached to anyone so soon and enjoy his life. As such she should also not get emotional about their encounters in the future.
As such they have decided early on that their relation will be completely physical and would not get emotionally attached to one another. They also set their interval of relationship. They would be in relation for an year after which they would break up.
But things doesn't go as planned. Over time Thomas got attached to her emotionally and looked forward to their meeting. The fire burned on both sides.
They both reigned themselves from confessing their feeling and thought it was just the heat of the moment.
They even together decided that they won't take the step abd wait after their relationship deal term ends and they can think carefully.
At this moment, both of them want to cherish their closeness and enjoy their time together.
Although they seem to make this plan secretly, their parents are aware, but they haven't taken any action. They had notice the growing affection between the two and their childish restrain.
This was very amusing to them and let the kids come to their terms themselves. In their opinion, it will be hazardous if they took the decision in hurry.
Back to the current situation at hand, Thomas knows her nature as such he made no effort to stop her raging storm and let her continue.
He removed the phone away from his ears to protect them from her loud voice. He can hear some snickers from the front seat of the car where his driver and Daisy, his personal secretary sat.
They were enjoying at his expense.
He saw that her voice has calmed down a little and once again put his ears on the her "... Just you wait when I get my hands on you you will wish you didn't make me stand like a fool waiting for you. Whatever plans you have...."
Her anger showed no signs of subsiding signifying she was really livid. There was only one way she would calm herself unless he is there with her personally and he acted on it.
He simply stated a fact which both of them knew was true, " I missed you."
These three words did the trick and the anger faded away. She smiled at his words and the people around her looked at her confused why she suddenly quiet down.
When they looked at her they saw that she has beautiful smile on her face which seem to penetrate through the heaviest of the storms. It was a smile whoch can brighten anyone's days.
Both of them has much to say to one another, yet the silence the two shared was enough. This silence is their secret conversation which doesn't need words to express. Their breath is enough to make the other understand what he wished to say.
" I missed you too, you idiot. Come here soon. " she said and put down the phone without giving him a chance to reply back.
Thomas looked at the phone. This is the era of flip phone but he has enjoyed the era of touch screen Android mobiles before his death.
As such he has created some models for his personal use. The one on his hand is one such model. He looked at the screen of the mobile which has the picture of a beautiful girl in jeans and a capre shirt.
Her figure was fantastic, she was about 1.7m in height, but her poise can only be described as fiery.
She had big eyes, a thin and exquisite nose. Not too think, but still very sexy lips. She had wheat colored skin, smooth as though it has been oiled. Light blonde and shallow eyebrows decorated her green eyes.
This was the photo of his current girlfriend and love interest, Angela Grace. ( She looks similar to Keeley Hazell).
