Meeting the Main Characters

I was rudely awakened from my dream by a blonde haired girl, who was looking at me apathetically.

This was Anny, the princess of England. "We were called to take the 5th exam"

I lazily got up and went to the venue.

In the venue, I looked around and spotted all the important people, the main leads:

The blue haired girl wearing a skirt and a shirt, Alexia Hadrion

The blonde haired girl wearing a shirt and pants, Anny Leonheart

A black haired handsome guy wearing normal clothes clenching his fists with determination and emitting a determined aura, Ryogaku

A blonde haired brute boy, Johan Charon

'Yeah it's a mix of names from different countries, I think it's cool though'

'Well at least there's a reward this time'

'Time to show off I guess, well I was planning to be first anyways'

'Now, what persona should I take for my academy life?'

Summoning his inner roleplayer, Sukuna decided, 'Aight, I'll look like an enigmatic and lazy guy who's stupidly strong, like stronger than anyone. I'll slowly reveal my powers to give people the thought that I'm not even trying. Well, I'm not actually that strong, a few professors and the principal will wipe the floor with me, but I'll unlock the powers gradually no need to worry.'

'Well I'm Sukuna so I naturally emit an aura of superiority, so I'll look stronger than I am, [Unshakable Heart] helps too'

'Maybe I should meet the main characters?'

'I guess that'll work, yeah let's go with that'

--Ryogaku POV--

'I'm here, finally, the work of all my life has got me here and I cannot fail now.'

I thought as I clenched my fists in determination.

2 years ago I was just a normal commoner, living in an orphanage, but that's when I found a book about swordsmanship. I trained for hours everyday, becoming worthy to attend the ITAAS academy. I made a few friends along the way, like Anny, Alexia and Johan, I almost passed out when I heard that Anny was a princess.

They all helped me reach the point I am at now, and I will definitely repay them even if it costs my life.

Now, the entrance exam is about to start, the examiner distributed the serial numbers and told us to go wait in our respective rooms. Me, Anny, Alexia and Johan are all in group 16. The examinees will go 10 at a time through 20 doors, behind which are mini-dungeons made by the academy, they are ranked based on the time taken to clear the dungeon and other things like calmness in battle etc.

We went and sat down in the room, talking among ourselves. I am a swordsman, Johan is a berserker, Anny is a combat mage, and Alexia is a healing mage that also knows some magic combat. We were all confident that we'd pass.

As we were talking, Alexia suddenly stiffened up, staring at the door. We all instinctively turned towards the door to find a boy with black hair and a slumped posture walking in. Even though he looks like a stick in the wind, he exuded an aura of superiority and oppression.

He turned towards Alexia and stared at her while she stared at him. Then he slowly started walking towards her.

'Did he do something to her, why is she so scared?'

We 3 were going to stop him but that when Alexia said with a shaking voice

"G-Good morning Sukuna"

"Do I know you? It's good that you're scared of me, but why? I'm sure we've never met before" The boy named Sukuna said in a bored voice.

Alexia took a deep breath and said, "I was in the party when you defended your parents from a noble insulting your parents"

Sukuna showed a face of realization and said, "Oh that, I've had questions about that a few times, don't worry I just got a little angry at that time."

Sukuna then turned to walk away, but his head suddenly snapped towards me.

'What is this!? I feel like my body isn't in my control'

I couldn't move at all, Sukuna was just staring at me, until his bored expression changed and turned into a grin scarier than anything

"Ryogaku, I have high hopes for you, make sure you pass this exam, aim for second place, because there is no chance you get first"

After saying this he went to the corner of the room, sat on a chair and dozed off.

"So, what the hell was that?" said Johan with a weird expression.

"I don't know, I guess we'll have to wait and see, that aura was no joke though. But Alexia, why are you so scared of him, what happened in the party?" said Anny as she glanced at the boy sleeping in the corner of the room.

--Sukuna POV--

'Man, that went perfectly, Ryogaku now thinks that I'll target him and I revealed a bit of my pressure on the main characters, now they'll be sure to keep a lookout for me'

'Well, now I can rest for a little while, there's still time till our turn'

'Group Sixteen, Enter the Simulator'

'Bruuh why'

'Well, I guess I'll try divergent fist on the monsters instead of just evaporating them with dismantle'

I waited till I was the last one in the room and lazily walked out.

My serial number was 169, so I went and entered gate 9.
