New Subordinates

Veldora was sitting confidently on a wooden chair, his muscular torso on display, his short, spiky blond hair catching the light. A mischievous expression played on his lips as he surveyed the scene before him. His black, tattered cape with its red inner lining was draped over his shoulders, fastened with a blue gem at the neck. His loose, black pants and the white armor pieces on his forearms, thighs, and shins gave him an imposing appearance.

Beside him stood a full-grown young woman with green hair and striking blue eyes. Her well-defined facial features showed a mix of concern and loyalty as she observed the proceedings.

In front of Veldora, about fifty to sixty scrawny-looking goblins were prostrating themselves, their foreheads touching the ground in submission. Their voices rang out in unison, filled with a mixture of fear and reverence.

"LORD VELDORA, WE ARE HONORED TO SERVE UNDER YOU. WE WILL SERVE YOU TILL OUR LAST BREATH."

As soon as the goblins spoke these words, a parchment that had been floating in front of Veldora burst into flames, burning with an eerie, unnatural light before vanishing into thin air.

<< Contract has been formed >>

Veldora's smile widened, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction.

"Raphael, can I name them?" Veldora thought, his gaze fixed on the prostrating goblins.

{Yes, Master. I can control the magicule output to ensure the process is stable,} Raphael responded in its calm, mechanical voice.

"Good," Veldora muttered, "Let's begin."

He stepped forward, his presence commanding absolute attention. The goblins, still in awe and slightly trembling, awaited his next move.

"Listen well," Veldora's voice boomed, filling the space with authority. "You have sworn to serve me, and as your lord, I shall grant you names."

The goblins exchanged excited but nervous glances. They understood the significance of being named by a powerful being like Veldora. It was a mark of honor. All of them were very excited.

"Form a line," Veldora commanded, and the goblins scrambled to comply, eager and anxious.

The first goblin to step forward was unsteady, with a wrinkled face and the short stature typical of goblins. He was the village chief, the leader of these goblins.

Veldora looked down at him, his eyes assessing. "You, old one. You shall be called Rigurd."

As he spoke the name, a surge of magicules flowed from Veldora into the goblin. Rigurd's body glowed with a vibrant light, his wrinkles smoothing out, his stature growing taller and more robust. He stood before Veldora, transformed and strengthened, his eyes filled with newfound vitality.

"Thank you, Lord Veldora," Rigurd said, his voice deeper and more confident than before.

Veldora nodded in acknowledgment before moving to the next goblin in line, a younger one with a determined look in his eyes. "You shall be called Rigur."

Again, the magicules surged, and Rigurs's body glowed, transforming and strengthening him. He stood taller, his muscles more defined, his eyes burning with resolve.

One by one, Veldora named the goblins, each receiving an infusion of power that reshaped and revitalized them. "Gobchi," "Gobte," "Gobzo," "Haruna," he named them, watching with satisfaction as his new subordinates grew stronger before his eyes.

Treyni watched the process with a mixture of awe and concern. She had never seen such a powerful and efficient use of naming.

As the last goblin received their name, Veldora stepped back, surveying his work. The once-scrawny goblins now stood as a formidable force, their bodies transformed and their spirits uplifted. They looked at him with unwavering loyalty and admiration.

"Thank you, Lord Veldora!" they shouted in unison, their voices strong and united.

Veldora nodded, pleased with the result.

"Gather the goblins from the nearby villages," Veldora commanded.

The goblins nodded eagerly, they quickly dispersed to carry out his orders.

Veldora then turned to Treyni, who had been standing quietly by his side. She met his gaze, understanding what he was thinking.

"Lord Veldora," she began, "I have brought the report about the ogre village that you instructed me to keep an eye on."

Veldora raised an eyebrow, interested. "Go on."

Treyni nodded. "Orcs are planning to attack them today."

"Is that so?" Veldora mused as he stood up.

Treyni bowed slightly. "I will manage the goblin village in your absence, Lord Veldora."

"Good," Veldora replied. As he started to fly towards the ogre Village
