Gwak Joon wryly opens his eyes to see a notification popping up on his phone.

[Notification]

[The book in your library 'Tales of Demons and Gods' has updated a chapter. Chapter 777 'Sage Emperor's Rage']

He muttered: "Today is the fourth lunar month of 2030 and this book has yet to end? I never thought it could beat One Piece in terms of longevity."

Gwak Joon has read TODAG up to 600 chapters, but he did not touch the book after that.

Reason? The book has become a pile of shit.

It has been 6 whole years since he completely quit reading the shit out of it, the day he becomes very busy teaching middle schoolers as a Teacher.

Another series of notifications rang through his phone. He took a glance at it and realize the principal was the one who messaged him.

"Tomorrow is the Museum Tour?" Gwak Joon cursed, "F*ck, why did I become an advisor anyway? I'm gonna die tomorrow for sure."

He gnashed his teeth angrily as he thought of the event tomorrow. Just the thoughts of the annoying brats he has to supervise tomorrow were killing the heck out of him.

Out of anger, he turned his phone off and closed his eyes. He couldn't bother to process this matter for now. He was extremely tired since he had been working non-stop. He only has a single thought for now— Sleep!

As Gwak Joon was sleeping, an unidentified object was floating above him. Slowly, it permeated through his skin.

Next morning.

'My head hurts.'

Gwak Joon opened his eyes. He stretched his muscles as he stood up. Opening one of his eyes, he smiled as he saw something unbelievable. He could see a pile of collapsed debris and violent flames turning the houses asunder.

"What a cute dream."

Gwak Joon knew he was still dreaming, so he pinched his cheeks. Opening his eyes again, indeed he was not dreaming.

"Wait what?!" Gwak Joon hurriedly rubs his eyes to confirm his situation. Even though he was nowhere near the fire, the heat made him groan.

A monster-like roar scared the shit out of him. He fixed his gaze to a certain direction, but only to see a monster coated in snow fur.

"What the actual f*ck?! A gorilla?!" Gwak Joon had been reading mangas and webnovels and thus he has already seen a lot of illustrations of monsters. The instance he gazed at this snow-furred monster, Gwak Joon knew he f*cked up!

This is reality!

The Gorillas flexed their sturdy chests by beating them continuously with their big hands. As they condensed a freezing aura, a boulder made of ice formed. They grabbed the ice boulders as they throw them into the buildings, which instantly obliterated the residences. How cruel, not even the roof was left!

"Where the f*ck am I?" Gwak Joon was stunned. Afraid, he hid into the pile of stones he was hiding.

Gwak Joon began to feel hunger. He wondered if Cheese has eaten the pizza he put into his freezer. Unlikely happening. Unless Cheese could open the freezer then Gwak Joon would allow that stupid cat to eat the pizza instead.

"Why the f*ck I'm thinking of Cheese? Focus, Gwak Joon!" As he was panicking for his survival, he happened to watch his delicate, small fingers. His hands were as if 3d's, unlike the very rough and veins popping hands he has.

"This hands. Don't tell me... Don't f*cking tell me..." Gwak Joon hurriedly ran into something that could produce a reflection. The moment he noticed a fragment of mirror, he joyfully picked it up and saw a face he felt very familiar with.

"Orange spiky hair, blue eyes, sharp eyebrows...What the f*ck, isn't this Manhua TODAG's version of Nie Li?!" Gwak Joon was too shocked that he hit his head over a rock.

Indeed he was not mistaken; he has transmigrated!

"Anyways, who f*cking want to be Nie Li in 2030's anyway? Who the f*ck want to be such shitty protagonist?!"

Gwak Joon was left speechless that a mechanical voice responded to him:

"Who? Show yourself!" Gwak Joon revealed his fangs. He was already annoyed and hearing that someone had mocked him out of nowhere, he wanted to beat the shit the f*ck of it.

[Master, your gonna beat the hell out of me? System disarming; Goodbye Host!]

Gwak Joon suddenly realized. This mechanical voice; was, without a doubt, his cheat!

He joyfully uttered, "You're my golden finger, right? Come out and tell me what I have to do!"

After he said that, an artificial machine that was in a form of a tennis ball floated in front of him. It seemed furious.

[System my ass! I'm disarming; Go f*cking die, you bitch!]

"You f*—" No, he has to be obedient for now. This system is threatening him to disarm, so he has to be careful. 'Calm down, Gwak Joon. Use your f*cking brain to deal with this!'

Gwak Joon becomes docile like an innocent puppy as he rubbed his hands. He told the system: "I was just joking. Just joking. Please don't leave me. Can't you see? I'm already pitiful; powerless. Oh benevolent system, please be lenient with me. Stick with me and let's become the greatest—no, the most omnipotent duo!"

Gwak Joon was afraid that his voice was not very persuasive, so he posed and raised his hands; he seemed to be radiating the aura of an Emperor.

But the harsh system responded to him:

[F*ck you. I know what you're thinking id*ot. Stop tricking me.]

[Ehem. Anyways, you better be thankful that I can't disarm when I picked a host.]

"Oh"

Gwak Joon was overjoyed. He smirked. That means, his cheat is already guaranteed! "My dear system, please tell me what's happening first."

The mechanical voice seemed to be suppressing its laughter as he said this: [Say: Please Master]

Veins popped up onto Gwak Joon's heads. He stood up and thrown a punch at the artificial machine.

[Ouch]

The mechanical voice sounded that of a girl. Gwak Joon's big ears were quick to pick that up. He scurried as he slowly pointed his hands to the ball: "You... you... you're a girl?!"

The artificial machine was angry. She said: [You bully!]

Gwak Joon was not a simp, but he knew he couldn't beat up a girl. That way isn't very gentlemanly.

He awkwardly cleared his throat. "Anyway, tell me the situation."

It might because of the punch, but she became obedient.

[Because Host has died of exhaustion, your soul was transported into a different multiverse. This world seemed to be very familiar to you.

[While you were unconscious, I scanned our situation

[According to a guy named, Lu Piao, this city is named Glory City. Unfortunately, Snow Wind Beasts seemed to have stormed the city.

After hearing the report, Gwak Joon was deeply shocked. The situation looked bad.

If he remembered correctly, the Glory City was annihilated because of a Monster Outbreak. Only leaving a few survivors lead by Ye Ziyun to venture into the outside world.

This means Gwak Joon was reincarnated in Nie Li's first life!

"Oh right, how did you know about Lu Piao?" Gwak Joon was confused about this matter.

[Oh Host, Lu Piao was just here a while ago.

As Gwak Joon was listening to the system, a young man wearing a dirty blue robe appeared in their line of sight.

Gwak Joon fixed his gaze to Lu Piao. Indeed, Lu Piao's features were very familiar with the one in TODAG'S manhua.

Since Gwak Joon was now Nie Li, he had to act one.

"Lu Piao!" Gwak Joon happily shouted; low enough that the Snow Wind Beasts outside couldn't hear him.

"Nie Li, so you're awake." Lu Piao beamed with joy when he saw Gwak Joon. "I got the thing we need!"

Gwak Joon clapped his hands. Although he did not know what Lu Piao meant, just the words 'the thing we need' should be the topic of their survival.

"Great, where is it?" Gwak Joon looked at Lu Piao with anticipation.

Lu Piao wiped the sweat on his forehead and spread his palm. Two sturdy ropes were laying on his hands.

Seeing this, Gwak Joon's anticipation died down as he looked at Lu Piao weirdly. "Why you're bringing a rope?"

Lu Piao was deeply shocked to hear that. He pointed his hands to Nie Li. "It was your plan, bro! You said since we're gonna die, we should just hang ourselves! Are you...sick?!"

It was Gwak Joon's turn to be shocked. He almost fainted. "So you mean you brought these ropes to kill ourselves?"

Lu Piao nodded.

'What the f*ck. This guy is insane! He's not here to survive, but to die!'
