Region Selection

Hello there, Divine_Nebula here.

First of all, thank you for all the support on this fanfic, feels good to know that people read and like it and I can only hope that more and more readers join the community.

Getting back to the main topic.

I am at a crossroads here. I want to choose which region to start Rudra's first adventure in. There are two options.

Hoenn

Alola

Hoenn is a wonderful region with beautiful places, rich history, and powerful legendary Pokémon.

Alola is a more beautiful place, has less lore than Hoenn, but has better Legendary Pokémon (in my opinion).

Hoenn has its gym battles and Alola has its Island Challenges, both equally good and entertaining.

So this is kind of like a poll, you just have to comment under the region you would like Rudra to start in. You could suggest some plotlines that I could explore too.

Note that Rudra would be going on an adventure to uncover the history of the world that he currently is in, which is a merger between OnePiece and Pokémon.

I could have chosen Kalos, but the Kalos War is an event that is a crucial piece of history that I don't want to pursue so early in the story.

I will start playing the game corresponding to the region that I choose i.e. Omega Ruby Or Ultra Sun while I am writing so that I don't miss some crucial plotlines in the original games.

Also take the legendaries into consideration as they will be able to partner up with trainers, just not in the normal way we know. Read the chapter comments here.

But also note that this poll will not be the decision maker. You need to understand that if I am somehow convinced that I want Rudra to start in a region that is not the winner of this poll or even something entirely different, then I will select it. I am the author after all and I want full control over this story. I would like suggestions from you people, of course, but not everything will be implemented.
