In One Piece As A Pirate

Chapter: 7

After their one-month break, they thought that the journey would be smooth. But just half a day later, they had to stop their voyage because of another pirate ship. 

"What's the name of that pirate group?" Rood asked the navigator, K. Kish, in a little unpleasant way.

"Captain, I don't know where they got those names. But in the wanted poster, it says Hungry Pirates. Their bounty is 20 million bellies." Navigator replied while looking at the wanted poster.

"Well, let's go crush those pirates." I hope they are strong." Rood said while unsheathing his sabre. 

But to their disappointment, those pirates don't possess any good strength. After killing all the pirates, they start their voyage again.

Just like that, five days passed by.

The Roods pirates have already reached the kingdom.

It's night. At this moment in a bar, a lot of people can be seen; some people are drunk, some people are shouting, and some people are chatting. But at the corner of the bar, a group of people were chatting about something. If anyone tries to listen, they can hear what they are saying.

Boom pirates. One of the pirates of South Blue. Bounty has 25 million bellies.

Their intelligence officer is currently informing them of some news, which has made them slightly concerned.

"Are you saying that in just one day, the Navy got 15 heads, which belong to the captains of 15 different pirates?" The captain of the Boom Pirates got scared to the point that he thought about his retirement.

"Yes boss. I heard that in the morning, 10 different people went to the naval branch to collect bounty, but not at the same time. In every hour, one person went to collect the bounty with a different size and different cloth." The informer was trying to hint at something to their captain.

At the bar, a woman of her early age was serving wine to the customer while listening to everything here. After hearing what that informer said, the hand of that woman stopped for a moment, but her expression didn't change.

At the same time in a forest outside the city. A group of people are sitting on the ground.

It's the Roods pirate. 

After exchanging the bounty from the Navy, their property now has 140 million bellies. Which is huge.

Although they don't get any bounties on their heads,

But they got so strong in these days that if the Marshall of the Navy got the news about them, they would print a wanted poster with a 40 million bellies bounty.

Rood also knows that their strength has grown a lot these days, but compared to the new world, it's still very low. So, Rood is trying his best not to be on light until he reaches the grand line.

"Duke, did you go to the shipyard? We need to build a fast ship." Rood asked his vice captain.

All those (1 month, 7 days, or 8 days) times, there was a lot of pressure on Duke.

Duke was always a lazy type of person. But since his captain (Rood) started to get serious and Audrey died, he completely changed. Become a hard-working person.

"Yes, I went there. I questioned a lot of shipbuilders. Their common speech is that their work is the best." Duke replied without even opening his eye.

"Didn't you find any different people?" Rood asked with a little disappointment.

What he knows is that after they reach Water 7 on the Grand Line, they will be able to build a good ship. But he still wanted to look for good shipbuilders who could at least help them build a good ship.

"Well, I did meet a strange old man who needs a good beating." Duke suddenly thought about some unpleasant thing and replied to his captain.

"Oh, it looks like something happened. I also want to know what can irritate you who is so irritating in his life." Rood asked his best friend and. I wanted to know the whole story.

"When I asked that old man if he could build us a high-speed, smooth-sailing ship, he started to ask a lot of random questions. I can't say anything more specifically about those questions."

"I have a lot to do in the early morning with those nine crew members." Duke, stop saying anything.

"Okay, have good sleep." Rood went to the other members.

"Five brothers, did you find any gun shop or factory with good, high-quality guns?" Rood asked the five brothers.

"We found one factory. Gun quality is good, but the gun range is the same. We also ask if he can make a new gun for us." The tallest brother replies while brushing his gun.

"So, what was their answer?" Rood looked a little excited.

"They know how to make guns from different materials. But it depends on the quality of the gun. If the material is of very good quality, it will take time. Like one year or something." The tallest brother replied with the answer that he got from the factory owner.

"You guys, take a rest now. We have to work a lot tomorrow." Rood thought of something and let them rest for now.

Early in the morning, Mokume started to cook for everyone. While others are on their respective work or exercise.

After exercise and a 3 vs. 1 fight, Rood took Duke, K. Kish, and Mokume to the shipyard. While gunners were on the watch.

After one hour, they reached the shipyard.

"That's the old man; besides him, it's his grandson. Duke pointed to the old man. Rood and the other three went to the old man and were about to ask.

But the old man's expression changed suddenly. "Why are you guys here again? Are you three with that guy?" The old man was asking while pointing at Duke.

"Well, we are with that guy. He is my friend. The other two are my partners. Rood replied to the old man's question.

"Partner? What kind of partner?" The old man got more curious. Partner at this age. Do you think I believe your nonsense?

"Partner in crime, "Rood replied with little self-confidence in his eye. Before he came here, Duke told him about this man's illness: The old man will ask a lot of questions. So, Rood didn't get angry.

"What kind of criminal activity do you guys do? Do you guys have so much leisure time? How about this? My shipyard needs a lot of men. You guys look strong. How about you guys work for me?" The old man offers a job to the Rood pirates.

This time, Duke didn't show any strange expressions. But he looked at his captain and waited for Rood to get angry. Duke knows that his captain will get angry. So he is just waiting.

"Well, I liked what you offered us. But before we start our job here, can I ask you some questions?" Rood didn't get angry like Duke was expecting from him.

"Okay, go ahead. Ask Whatever. The old man agreed to the Rood request.

"How much money do you make in a month?" Rood didn't brag about anything; he just got to the point.

"Well, in just 1 month, 30–40 million or something." The old man replied with excitement, and there was a little pride in his eyes.

"Oh, that's very little; we made 80 million this month." Rood acted a little and told the old man half the truth about his income. Hearing what Rood said to him, the old man's view of his hard work changed 180 degrees. How can this brat make 80 million bellies in just one month?

The old man's grandson was even more shocked. He feels like he is about to develop asthma.

"Now, get to the point. I need a medium-size, fast, smooth ship. Can you build one for us?" Rood asked the old man with a serious look.

"What are you going to do with a fast ship?" As usual, it's the old man's illness to ask questions. 

"Well, we will sleep on it, fight on it, cook on it, and travel on it; we will do everything on that ship. If one day we die, we will die on that ship." Rood wants to answer quickly, but his mood starts to get serious. He can't take it anymore.

"Now I understand, you guys don't have any place to stay, right?" Again, it's the old man question.

At the critical moment when Rood couldn't take it anymore, he was about to beat the sh*t out of that old man. 

A saviour has at last arrived. It's the son of that old man.
