In One Piece As A Pirate

Chapter: 4

Years 1500.

South Blue.

On an uninhabited, medium-sized island. Two pirate groups were rushing towards each other, like winning was their only goal.

One is the Rood Pirate, and their opponent is the Horn Pirate. The Captain of the Horn pirate is Zaizoo. His weapon is two medium-sized sabres. Height is similar to Rood, but anyone can tell at a glance that Zaizoo's brute force is larger than Rood. Rood's speed is very good; Zaizoo can tell by looking at his opponent.

About three days ago, Horn pirates looted a small island. Zaizoo had fought a good fighter on that island. But in front of his sabres and force, that fighter wasn't anything. His confidence has grown from that fight. 

The opponent (Rood) has only 20 men under his command. But Zaizoo has 37 members under his command, which also makes him more relaxed in this fight.

"Let me see if I can put that brat under my command; then I will have even more strength." Zaizoo's said while waiting for the boys to act.

Rood was the first person to reach the Horn Pirate. Although the Captain of the Horn pirates didn't act and were walking behind everyone, making a face like (Don't give a shit) with confidence. 

Seeing as the opponent didn't take it seriously, Rood confirmed two things.

'One: Zaizoo is underestimating me. Two: Zaizoo has confidence in his capability.'

'One: It's an advantage. All I need to do is take my opponent seriously. Two: It's a disadvantage; I must focus on finding the opponent's weakness most of the time.'

 Roods didn't get angry or happy, and his face did not fluctuate a little bit.

Rood took action against some cannon fodder; it took 5 minutes to completely kill 10 people. After killing them, Rood reached the opposing captain with blood on his face. Although he didn't show any expression, which meant his breathing, he started to breathe a little disorderly.

Rood slashed his sabre, which was blocked by the opponent. Zaizoo blocks the Roods upcoming sabre with his sword and slashes Rood with his left-hand sword.

In less than a second, Rood takes back his sword to block the opponent's coming sword. To his surprise, he had already taken one step back and thought, 'Wow, what a force! This must be his confidence.

Without thinking anymore, both of them start to fight. Every time Rood tries to block the opponent, he feels his hand go numb from the sabre vibration. 'Is everyone in this world so strong? If I can defeat him, it will be a big breakthrough in my life.'

Nine combatants acted from behind; seeing their captain take the lead, they also became more energetic. 

Cooper and Oscar started to fight with their swords, although they are not proficient. They are trying their best to defend; they know the consequence is only death.

Hazel, with two light hammers, chooses his opponent, a six-foot-fat man.

Hugh and Harlow, with their daggers, have already slashed the opponents.

Audrey and Beckett is right behind everyone; his fighting style is like Duke V-Captain.

Cole and Cleo are trying to shoot the opponent with their guns because of the target's movement.

Duke (first mate), Mokume (chef), and K. Kish (navigator) each kill one cannon fodder in a minute.

Duke's next opponent is Zaizoo's first mate and his two men.

Mokume opponent is a person who fights with a sword.

K. Kish opponent is also a strong and 6.2-foot-tall person.

Five brothers with guns were trying to shoot, but they had to be cautious if they accidentally killed their own.

45 minutes later.

Audrey was already dead, he died because he chose the wrong opponent, his opponent had a sword. Before his death, Rood and Duke tried to reach that place, but their opponent didn't let them. Beckett was fine.

The other eight combatants are already exhausted but still able to kill the opponent; it took them 25 minutes. Duke, Mokume, and K. Kish three of them kill their last opponents in 45 minutes. They aren't that exhausted. 

The last one standing is their captain, Rood. His face isn't that calm like when he starts the fight.

But Zaizoo's face has changed a lot. Although he is struggling a little, that doesn't mean he has reached the limit. If Rood isn't here, he will be able to kill the rest of the crew members with that little bit of strength.

Zaizoo's face changed when all his crew were dead. At first, he thought he had some advantages, but now that he is alone and fighting against a pirate group, his face has become even more ugly. He looks at the opponent. At the beginning, his opponent didn't have that much strength, but now that brat can fight with him with just one sword.

I thought having two swords was an advantage. Thinking about all of this, his face started to get ugly.

Rood was doing his best and trying to understand where his shortcomings were. At first, he couldn't keep up with those two swords and that brute force. May be this is the miracle of this world: "If you don't give up, your every step will make you stronger."

While their fighting was at its peak, Rood suddenly heard laughter coming from behind.

Duke said mockingly," Captain, there is nothing to learn from that guy anymore; just kill him."

 "Let me drain every bit that I can learn from him that is left in him." Rood said this while fighting Zaizoo.

Zaizoo's face changed even more; he started fighting like crazy, while Rood blocked every attack that came towards him like a machine.

After 7 minutes, Zaizoo exhaled. He can't fight any more; he doesn't want to live any more. Until he gave up and kneeled, Rood took a deep breath, slashed his kneck, and sliced it down with his sabre.

Rood takes a deep look at the cloudy sky, and his previous memories flash for a few seconds.

Before he came to this world, he used to work for the mafia. Same as in this world, he was an orphan; he gathered some orphans just like him, and his career under that mafia as a leader of a group of 40 people. So, this fighting and killing is not anything new to him. 

After that, Rood went to sit beside Duke. look at his sword and say regretfully, "See, I told you, this sea is very chaotic; already one of our crew members is dead. You guys already took a lot of rest; go and check that ship; see if you can find anything."

Navigator K. Kish and five brothers went to the ship. 

After 15 minutes, they came out with everything they found on that ship.

To their surprise, they also came with a 22-year-old boy whose hands and feet were strangled with a long rope.
