[A week later]

Throughout the week, the plans for the war solidified and the war became closer than ever with only a day remaining before the start of the war.

Both sides have almost finished their preparations for the war, be it manpower or strategies.

From the side of the Allied Shinobi Forces, they held another meeting and discussed the final plans for the war.

[Furashbacku]

"I'm telling you! This plan will fail if he can't fight them all!" Raikage's tone became louder as Tsunade furrowed her brows.

"Then, what do you suggest huh? This is the plan that will lessen the casualties!" Tsunade also retorted.

"We'll hide the remaining Jinchuurikis. There's a safe place in Kumogakure where they can hide! If we hide the Jinchuurikis, their plan will not be completed!"

Seeing as how the two of them might start a fight, the Tsuchikage, Onoki stepped in.

"Do not forget that we are in a war. How can we win if we are divided from the start?" Onoki said as both A and Tsunade calmed down a bit.

At this moment, Mei Terumi also joined in to voice her thoughts.

"I agree with the Tsuchikage, we must remain united. How about we come to a compromise."

After many discussions, the five of them finalized their plans. Raikage's plan to hide the jinchuurikis away will currently be for Killer Bee and Yugito Nee, both of whom are from Kumo. The plan to use the Hiraishin seals was also approved as it would be a huge help during the war, may it be in direct combat or support.

Raikage also had no major disagreements with this as his main objective was to protect his brother, Bee.

Although there was some dissatisfaction, they all agreed in the end since they were all minor kinds of stuff.

They also agreed to unite their intelligence forces since the threat of Madara's (or Obito's) Eye of the Moon Plan was judged to be far too great, even though the establishment of a large single intelligence force could damage their village's intelligence forces.

The troops were separated into divisions and a captain was appointed for each of them. Shikaku was appointed as the Chief Strategist while Ino's father, Inoichi became the Captain of the Intelligence Division.

Gaara suggested a headband with the symbol 'Shinobi' written instead of their usual headbands with their village's symbol to show their unification.

[In present time]

"Boss! No training today, right? Since the war's starting tomorrow." Konohamaru asked as Moegi and Udon looked at Naruto with expectant eyes.

"No. Because you asked that, the training will be even harder today." Naruto replied while shaking his head.

"DAMN YOU, KONOHAMARUUUU!!!" Moegi and Udon shouted as they ran towards Konohamaru.

"Wait, guys. It's not my fault, blame Big Bro Na- OOF." Konohamaru didn't get to finish his sentence as he got fly-kicked by the two of them.

He got up quickly and as he was about to attack them, he suddenly stopped.

"What good is hate and bitterness anyway? It's like drinking poison and hoping the other person is the one to go." Konohamaru said as a glow suddenly shined behind his head.

Moegi and Udon covered their eyes as they couldn't handle the brightness of the enlightened one.

"That's inspiring, Konohamaru." Naruto smiled seeing this.

"Then, less training for me?"

"Nope."

"NOOOOOOOO!"

'Is this what Akihiko felt while torture- training me and Sasuke? I love it. I can feel the pain of my training fading away seeing these younglings' passion for training.'

"But Boss, aren't you going to war? Should you still be coming to train us today?" Udon asked as Naruto just smiled.

"Don't worry about it, your focus should be on the training. I'll always have time for you guys." Naruto said as the three kids stared at him with wide eyes.

"What are you guys staring at?"

"I love you, boss."

"We'll protect Konoha while you're away!"

"We'll be waiting for you. Please come back safely."

"Aww, come on you guys," Naruto said as he pulled them in a big hug.

"Now, start training."

"AHHHHHH, I TAKE IT ALL BACK!"

It seems that everyone in this group has gotten a few loose screws in their head due to their training.

[Meanwhile]

"Another war, huh? When will this ever end?" Jiraiya muttered while lying down on the grass.

"Getting philosophical, are we?"

"Shit! Give some type of warning next time you arrive." Jiraiya cursed as he looked at the mannerless bastard that just arrived.

"Hahahah, my bad. I just got used to doing it." The mannerless bastard with purple hair also sat down as Jiraiya just sighed.

"Jiraiya-san, I don't believe wars will ever end. Only the dead see the end of the war. As long as humans have differences between them, whether land, resources, or other things, there will always be a conflict which will lead to a war."

Jiraiya remained in silence for a while before he replied.

"That's a logical answer. I've thought about it before, but my heart just can't accept that. I wish…. No, I believe that there will be a day when people can understand and accept each other. As long as we learn to empathize, and forgive, I'm sure we can achieve it."

Jiraiya said with all his heart and Akihiko smiled.

"Well, how about we do it together? Before that, let's have some cookies."

"No, I'm okay."

Akihiko just shrugged as he started munching on his cookies. The two of them sat for a while without talking.

"Akihiko."

"Yeah?"

"I changed my mind. Give me some of that."

"Heh, I was waiting for that. Nobody can refuse the cookie."

"Well, I gotta admit, it tastes very good. No wonder you got the entire village hooked on these." Jiraiya said as he also started eating them.

"Maybe this will be useful in achieving peace. " Akihiko suggested as Jiraiya just laughed.
