Chapter 216 : Hokage Of The Past 2

Kirito watched in awe as all the past Hokage slowly got their consciousness back and started talking, but he didn't dwell his time on others much, as he was more focused on a man who looked exactly like him. This man was none other than his father, Minato Namikaze.

"Minato you are here too ?" Sarutobi Hiruzen looked surprised and looked towards his successor and even his predecessors.

"Saru, you are old. What's going on, are you not the Hokage anymore? When did you die ?" Tobirama said while Hashirama was looking at the two similar-looking men on the side.

"Who are you," Hashirama, acting just like how he did in the anime, first asked Minato about his identity, after all, he was dead and considering that only the past Hokages were there, Hashirama couldn't help but ask.

"Oh I am the fourth Hokage sir," Minato immediately shifted his eye contact with Kirito, there were unknown emotions in his eyes but he didn't say anything and responded to Hashirama's question.

"Fourth Hokage huh, good good, how is the village," the First Hokage asked but Tobirama interrupted him in and asked.

"You also died, so who is the current Hokage Now," Tobirama was now more worried about the village.

He looked back at the similar-looking young man to the fourth Hokage and directed the question towards him.

Kirito didn't say much, "I will explain everything soon," Kirito said with a normal smile, there was no feeling or intention in that smile, but Minato knew that smile well. He used to give that same smile when shit was about to hit the fan.

"Well, this is an unusual reunion. Last time I checked, I was fighting the Nine Tails," Minato said, trying to keep the conversation rolling.

Tobirama frowned not getting the answers soon but he decided to wait, considering that Kirito hadn't outright controlled them, and even given them full control of their bodies back, he didn't consider Kirito an enemy at least not yet.

"Maybe the first thing we should ask is how come the fourth and man with one hand here looked so alike," Hashirma asked.

Hiruzen on the side signed, he knew what was going on, at least who was standing in front of him. "Kirito, what happened to the village after Orochimaru attacked us, why did you bring us back," Hiruzen asked trying to use his old 'I am Hokage, listen to me' card again. 

"Konoha handled the situation but we are in much more trouble now. Need help to fight the upcoming war." Kirito didn't dwell on the question much and answered in bullet point format. On the side though, Minato's eyebrows rose, he was trying to figure out which child of his was in front of him, Naruto or Kirito.

Now that was clear, not like he couldn't tell after not seeing those whisker-like birthmarks on his face anymore.

Hashirama, the First Hokage, looked at Kirito with a raised eyebrow. The Word War brought all the bad memories back like a tide, 

"So, young man, care to explain why you brought us back from the afterlife? I was in the middle of a shogi game with the Mito," Hashirama said, and this instantly eased the tension around the room, Kirito now was honestly wondering whether souls can really meet in the afterlife.

In the Anime we did see that happening but this world was different and many things which happened in the anime didn't happen here.

Kirito decided to talk with his father later and started telling them the entirety of the situation that all the hidden villages and the entire shinobi world were facing.

How the biggest war they have ever faced, is coming towards them.

After the impromptu lecture about the current times, there was silence in the room, Kirito explained how Madara was here to start war and activate his Moon Eye Plan.

He explained about the Ten-Tails and even the Sage of Six Path, his mother and brother. The Otsutsuki clan and the curse and bond between the sons of Hagoromo, and the only response from the past Hokages after hearing this long-ass lecture from Kirito was.

"How do you know all this ?"

Kirito sighed, I thought about it, there might be no one else but if it comes to his own father then maybe he doesn't mind explaining his origins. Who he really is.

Kirito looked at Minato, " Mind coming out with me, we need to talk," Kirito asked and Minato just smiled, it was a pleasant smile and a content smile which expressed all of his happiness after seeing his son again.

"Sure," Minato responded, and seeing that there was definitely a connection between them, other Hokage let Minato accompany Kirito while making Hiruzen explain to them the dynamics of the duo as he was the only one besides those two who knew anything.
