4 Chapter 2 (part 2)

On the way, team 7 and Tazuna listened to Tsuyu songs all the way. The weather was very hot and Tazuna was getting more frustrated because of the heat and Tsuyu was causing noise pollution.

"Baaaby~ pull me into your loving arms and watch me under th-..."

"ARE YOU STILL SINGING? IT'S BEEN 4 HOURS!"

Tazuna yelled. The huge stress of tricking the honorable ninjas from a reputed village into doing his underpaid job was killing him and the said ninja won't let him have a peace of mind

Don't they know that he also had to think of a way to make them comply with the said job on their own accord! It's been hard!

Tsuyu looked at him feeling wrong, then picking an ear he said.

"Fine. I won't sing. Also I'll let those mist-ninja hiding in that puddle hurt you."

Everyone present in the scene had their hair stand up, except Tsuyu and Kakashi who already got hint of the ambush.

Naruto and Sasuke, each took out a kunai and stood infront of Tazuna.

They had simulated this situation for in their training and knew what to do.

Kakashi sighed in defeat, his chance of testing his pupils deposition has been wasted. He knocked on Tsuyu's head and the later went to cry in a corner.

Kakashi called out to the demon brothers, the infamous chunins from the land of mist.

"You can come out now."

"Kekeke! We've been found out. But don't even dream you'll walk out alive!"

The demon brothers pair flew out of the puddle with huge metal claws linked with a sharp chain.

They successfully caught Kakashi in their attack and the later showed a pained expression. The demon brothers turned him into minced meat making everyone else gasp.

Overconfident from their success, the demon brother pair turned their aggression to Naruto, who looked the weakest in the team just due to his shorter height.

Naruto groaned as he took a full hit of their attacks. Kakashi death have been too shocking and he found himself unable to move a muscle from fear.

As the demon brothers approaches Naruto with an intent to kill, Sasuke kicked away them away and smirked at Naruto.

"What's wrong scaredy cat?" He teased Naruto

'Why isn't Tsuyu helping!' Naruto finally gained his sense and was angered. His eyes turned red and the nails grew longer and hardened.

Naruto looked at Tsuyu and the later smiled and nodded. Naruto took a deep breathe, and remembered.

'As long as Tsuyu is around we're invincible.'

Thinking that Naruto clamed down and realised that Kakashi and Tsuyu were just helping them gain experience.

But before he could do much, Kakashi appeared behind the demon brother and knocked them out with a chop on their nape.

The test had been completed, Kakashi felt this much stimulation was enough for the team and seeing Naruto manifest the nine tail power worried him a little, so he ended the fight.

'I have to talk with Tsuyu about this.' Kakashi thought. In just a month, he had came to consider Tsuyu as the most dependable person.

Kakshi then turned to Tazuna, the later was shivering.

"Mister Tazuna, could you tell me why they are after you?"

Tazuna was silent from guilt.

"And you paid for a C - rank mission, but this mission have turned out higher and you already seem to know about this. Why did you lie to us?"

Lucky it was team 7, otherwise it could've been a tragedy. Kakashi looked at Tazuna dead in the eyes.

Tazuna kneeled, His forehead on the floor, making the team flustered.

"Mister Tazuna this..."

The later spoke with tears and told the truth.

The bridge Tazuna was building would create a new trade route and give them access to more farmland. And Gato, the richest businessman in the land of wave had paid ninjas from the hidden mist village to assassinate him, so that he could maintain his trade monopoly.

"I apologise for putting your lives in danger... the money we had raised could only commission for a C-rank mission."

Tsuyu came forward and helped the kneeling man stand.

"Mister Tazuna, team seven would help so don't worry. And sensei, let's call for back up, I'll pay."

Kakashi nodded and he summoned a nin-hound to pass on the information to the village.

"What about them?"

Naruto pointed at the passed out deamon brothers.

"Let's kill them for the bounty." Sasuke was already taking out his kunai.

"Ayaya! Choto mate Sasuke! Didn't I tell you not to worry about money!"

"Then what do we do?" This time Kakashi asked. He was intrigued. What will you do Tsuyu... kill them? Let them go...? What's your true heart?

Tsuyu sighed. What's with this world's natives... so violent!

Then he took out a million ryo cash and dropped it near the brothers then covered them with bushes.

"I hope this helps them."

Tsuyu looked up the sky feeling lonely.

"Naruto... Sasuke.. did you know, to graduate from the mist ninja academy, one should kill all their classmates and only then they graduate."

He continued.

"Life outside Konoha is harsh, look at mister Tazuna, his village doesn't have enough to eat so he have to build a bridge in hope of acquiring more land. My dream is to make this world a better place..."

"But I don't think I can't do it alone."

Everyone looked at Tsuyu in awe.

"We know Tsuyu. You helped me, there's no way I'm not returning this favour."

Naruto slapped his best-friend's back with a proud grin. He was happy to have such a noble friend.

"Hn, although you are stupid, you're my ... friend. I'll help you too."

Sasuke smiled at his stupid friend. Although he's been taught to not show mercy to his enemy, if it's Tsuyu... well, Tsuyu is someone that would help his seller count the money. So, Sasuke made up his mind to protect Tsuyu from the shadow.

Kakashi smiled and ruffled Tsuyu's hair. If it's you... I know you can do it Tsuyu. Please make this world a better place.

Tazuna snorted listening at the childish dream. He didn't believe it but noted that Konoha is best place to ask for help in the future. But a world with lesser misery sounded nice to hear.

"Let's go we're getting late."

Kakashi urged the team.

When the demon brothers woke up, the were surprised to see that they were alive and well.

The elder among them pointed at the ground.

"Look... that's money!"

"But which idiot will leave it..."

As far as they know.. it should be those smelly Konoha's ninja.

The younger one kneeled and cried.

"Thank you.. with this we can treat our mother."
