19.2 | Sharingan Awakening

[ POV to Uchiha]

"Kuro, I'm dubious about that cat; it keeps chasing around Hiroshi; I checked with Sharingan but couldn't uncover anything…"

"I have a feeling something horrible is about to happen."

Ibu told his friend Kuro, who was an expert in the art of illusion.

"Ibu, you're being overly suspicious; we're already in the Uchiha compound; what could possibly go wrong, and we're both elite Jounins; you should take a break; these missions have taken a toll on you."

After a few hours, Kuro and Ibo concluded that Ren's cat transformation was nothing more than a stray cat out to bother Hiroshi, and they left Sasaki, Yami, and their pet Hiroshi alone.

(A/n: Did I mention that Yami and Sasaki are both ten years old and in their fourth year of academy, and that ohh konoha academy has a six-year course?.)

"Yami, let's catch some fish for Hiroshi, I haven't been to End Valley in months." Sasaki said this to Yami as they gulped down dango bought from a random shop.

"All right, let's go." Yami grabbed Sasaki's hand and slung hiroshi over his shoulder as they sprinted towards the end valley.

What they didn't realise was that Ren's cat clone was behind them, which was unusual for a stray cat to keep up with their speed.

After a few hours... It was already getting dark.

"Let's go back, Sasaki; it's now dusk time, and it's dangerous during wartime." After noticing that it was already 6:30 p.m., Yami said to Sasaki.

"Okay, Yami, let me dry my clothes, I had a lot of fun today HAHA, hmmp Ibusaki brother is too busy with missions during this war." I'd be bored to death if it weren't for you and Hiroshi."

"Hiroshi, come back."

"Hiroshi???"

Sasaki called Hiroshi only to find it already climbed on difficult and dangerous rocks.

"YAMI, YAMI see Hiroshi, go immediately save it, Hiroshi is in danger, It could tumble down at any minute... "Please rescue it," Sasaki pleaded to Yami, her eyes welling up with tears.

Ren wasn't wasting his free time, he had already set up his temporary hideout cave near 5 kilometres outside Konoha in Death Forest, while his cat clone had already spread cat food on rocks, leading to the current Hiroshi situation, one wrong step and Hiroshi was having a chat with Cat God the next second.

"How did this cat get there in the first place?"

"Hiroshi, stay there and wait quietly for me.."

"It's extremely hard to keep my balance on cliffs I had not even learned wall walking from big bro previously." Yami scaled the cliff slowly and steadily, approaching Hiroshi the Cat.

But then both of them freeze... Yami and Sasaki will never forget this scene; Yami was only a few metres away when he noticed Hiroshi slipping from the rocks, and Sasaki was rooting for Yami.

When they watch Hiroshi completing a back flip in midair and adjusting its posture for diving in the water, Both of them believed that Hiroshi would only get minor injuries if he jumped into the lake from this height.

But their hearts are almost stopped, and time seems to slow down for both of them. When they discover a spiky wooden platform drifting in the lake, they know Hiroshi will jump onto it....

Slowly, for what seemed like an eternity, two seconds passed, and

*Splat*

Hiroshi was reduced into bloody paste... No surprises here.

Both Yami, and Sasaki had tears coming from there eyes and their black eyes gradually turned red, with Yami having a single tomoe in his eyes and Sasaki's eyes directly promoted to two tomoe Sharingan.

Ren then sees all this happening from his temporary hideout while eating Pizza.. Well he made it on his own.. And he won't do pizza business so where were we.. Ren saw all this, there Sharingan awakening, then bloody drama.

[POV to Ren]

'HAHA I had no idea both of them had such strong feelings for a CAT, hmm kuekku maybe I can get my desired MS ability if everything goes as planned and they don't die and Madara doesn't target them.'

'It was so neat. I already had enough mastery In soil Ninjutsu where i can manipulate a handful of rock from 20 m and all i had to do was make a spiky wooden plank and calculate the time till the cat falls into the lake, and Splat! My plan went just as planned. May Cat God bless Hiroshi's soul.'
