Blinded

Fū was a hard one to pry off

"When do we leave? How are we getting out? What's your favorite food? Mines Ice Cream~"

I really cannot express the emotion in the heavy sigh I let out when she started talking

"We're leaving soon. We have to get a few things first"

Fū looked at me curiously

"From here? If so, I know all of the secret exits and entrances around the village!"

This girl is too precious…

"Perfect. Do you know where they keep something called the 'Hero Water' or the Jiongu?"

The Jinchūriki closed her eyes and hummed in thought before beaming a wide smile

"I think I remember Shibuki-San telling me something about those two things before. He said they were dangerous and should never go near them. That was by his office when I tried to find out more on Choumei!"

Nodding, I directed her to lead the way. She brought me to a small tunnel in the far end of the tree room, which I assumed lead to most of the village

Without a word, the girl jumped down the hole, yelling in excitement

Shrugging, I jumped after her

It wasn't very far down, and it was actually fairly well lit and ventilated somehow

"This way!"

Fū obviously used these tunnels a whole lot, seeing just how fast she ran down them

It was actually kinda annoying because I kept losing her and in turn, getting lot myself before she magically found me with a huge grin on her face

Time was weird down here but it didn't take that long to get to the place under Shibuki's office. It would have taken less than a few minutes if I hadn't gotten lost so much…

"I think Shibuki-San should be out of the office by now, but be careful for anyone else~"

We climbed up a makeshift ladder to the top where the edge of a rug and a circular hatch were the only things covering up the existence of these holes

The room we entered was dark and cold, likely a walk-in freezer or someone left the AC on

"Over here~"

Using chakra to enhance my eyes helped combat the darkness enough to see Fū and that we were in some sort of Conference room

'Yeah, left the AC on'

We came out of the room, immediately running back in after we saw someone locking their door to an office or something

'Idiots.. This is a Ninja Village'

We waited a few moments until she passed and slowly walked back out, weary of anyone else

It didn't look like there was anyone else in the building, so we quickly made our way to the guys office, picked the shitty lock and went in

'Why would this guy have such a shitty lock on his door to a room filled with top secret information?'

A trap?

"Fū, hurry up…"

"Yeah yeah, gimme a second"

By this point, my senses were on high alert. Any little sound was a warning. I don't think they know exactly who's in here, but there is no way that lock was the only defence

'Alarm seal? Plausible..'

"Aha! Found it!"

The Jinchūriki yelled, raising a bottle of liquid, a couple files, as well as a small scroll up for me to see

It was only a small joy, however, seeing as how the lights turned on at that moment, accompanied with a man in the doorway flanked by men in ANBU masks

I could tell they were ready to strike at any movement

"An infiltration in my village? And you thought I wouldn't notice?" He looked over to where Fū was actively sweating bullets "You even managed to get our Jinchūriki in on your plans.. How amusing"

This guy sounds way too cocky for the amount of forces on his end. In his mind, he may only be fighting a little girl not even as strong as a low-genin, but he doesn't know one thing

I have explosives~

*BOOOM*

"AGH! ANBU, I WANT THEM BROUGHT BACK ALIVE!"

Yeah, totally wasn't expecting that. Hoshi made me a couple makeshift cesium bombs before the farm incident. I don't know how he found the time to find cesium, let alone the correct type, I'm not going to question it though

Fū and I ended up jumping out the man's window in the midst of the explosion. I could tell the girl was having a tough time right now but seeing as how we were running from experienced Ninja, she was going to have to deal with it for now

Speaking of running from experienced Ninja, the ANBU were rapidly catching up to us. Even if I bought us almost fifteen seconds worth of time, experienced ninja like ANBU are still experienced

"Do you have any tunnels out of ten village Fū?!"

Jeez, the poor girl. I could see how afraid she was right now…

"Fū!"

"Ah! What? What's going on??"

"No time! Do you have any tunnels out of the village?!"

She barely nodded and we took a sharp turn to tell left.

Just in case, I made sure to suppress my chakra. It might be useless because of Fū here, but with that tree in the way, I can't imagine sensing anything clearly will be easy

We made it to a small abandoned building towards the edge of the hole we were in. Inside, like I expected, was a hatch covered by a raggedy old rug

"This way…"

The tunnel didn't seem to connect to any of the others, seeing as how there was one straight path to the south, so caving this place in is totally an option

An option I was rapidly considering because of the noise of footsteps I was hearing from the backway.

Funk it. I tossed one of Hoshi's capsule bombs, grabbed minty's hand, began running, and enjoyed the sounds of shouting and explosions for behind us

The trip took about 45 minutes and we exited into a small shack on the edge of Taki and Oto. It seemed to be a supply shack with the amount of sealing scrolls littered around the place

Fū legit looked on the verge of a mental breakdown from all of the sudden stimulation. We didn't happen to pack up her meds before hand, my mistake, so I gave her a gentle hug and some comforting words. I don't know if she appreciated it but judging by the fact that her breathing calmed immensely, it worked somewhat

'Let's see.. where do we go next?'
