4 Departure

After sealing his loot in a scroll, Naruto departed from the room. He quickly packed his and Jiraiya's belongings to escape from the building before anyone noticed the mission guy

An hour had passed, and Naruto was waiting near a shop in the nearest village he found.

"Gosh, where is he?"

Seeing there was nothing else he could do, Naruto went into an alley and created 10 Shadow Clones... He would've loved to summon more, but there was not enough space for such a crowd in the cramped space.

"Go in pairs of two. Each group is allocated to a specific element. Now go! Try to create some new Jutsu and gain insight into using the Nature transformations"

"Yes!"

They all responded in unison and parted away. Naruto exited the alley and spotted Jiraiya in front of the Blacksmith.

Sensing his gaze, Jiraiya nodded.

'So, he got it after all. Nice... I just hope he didn't spend all the money on his way'

Sweating at the possible fact, Naruto calmly approached Jiraiya. Soon, both of them were entering the shop. As soon as they entered, the temperature rose, beads of sweat started to form on Naruto's forehead.

"It's hot in here," He commented, eyeing the weapons hung on the walls.

"You don't say"

Pulling his collar and weaving a sigh, Jiraiya responded.

Not long after, they spotted a lone man, using a hammer to hit against a heated rod. There were no brows on his face... Matter of fact, there was not a trace of hair on his body.

They approached the bald man, catching his attention. The blacksmith stopped his work and grabbed a cloth to wipe off the sweat on his face.

"How can I help you?"

Jiraiya opened a scroll, revealing a stack of money. The blacksmith stood dazed for a moment, before he cleared his throat. "So... What kind?"

Naruto smirked.

"The finest one... Double-edged Sword with a square guard. I hope it's within your prowess?"

The blacksmith grabbed the pile of money and nodded.

"Give me 2 days... Your sword will be ready and rolling!" Naruto and Jiraiya silently nodded before exiting the shop, leaving the blacksmith to do his work. They found an Inn to spend the next two days.

Naruto tossed Jiraiya's belongings and stared at him.

"Y'know, you told me you'd teach me something... Remember?"

Jiraiya slyly shook his head. "Of course. Let's first find a proper training ground, shall we?"

Naruto shrugged, and Jiraiya led the way. They roamed the outskirts of the village before finding a satisfactory result.

'This should do it'

Jiraiya nodded to himself and gazed at Naruto.

"So, These are the Jutsu's I have currently with me..."

And so, 2 days went by in the blink of an eye. Naruto used his shadow clones to boost his progress, achieving outstanding results in the end. He was happy and more than pleased with the outcome.

In the end, he learned a total of 25 Jutsus, 5 of each element. Although their Ranks varied, these Jutsus had their own ups and downs, which would greatly help them in the future.

Naruto also claimed his Sword, which was a double-edged Grass-cutter blade with a square guard. Normal grass cutters didn't come with one, so he had to customize it.

Jiraiya said he should name the sword, but Naruto refused. But in the end, because of Jiraiya's relentless urging, he was left with no choice but to.

So, he had given the blade the name: Dawn.

It wasn't the most crazy and flamboyant, but that was all Naruto could come up in that short period. Jiraiya was not too happy, but he sighed and agreed in the end.

Sheathing his sword and strapping it on his torso, Naruto gazed at the muddy path.

"So... To the north?"

Jiraiya gave him a wry smile.

"To the north"
