6 Chapter 6: ''...* **** *** ***''

(1st POV)

(Timeskip, 6 months later, 6.5-year-old Yuki)

(1 am)

Getting back to my home after training, I slip back into my room through the window.

Feeling thirsty, I walk out of my room to see Sara sitting by the kitchen window. Sara was sleeping over. Her daughter, Akari, was being taken care of by her husband. Since I had my mind on other things, I forgot to double-check. The photographic memory guy forgetting.

(Shit, did she see me?) I think and as if reading my mind

''Don't worry, I won't tell anyone. Though only if you tell me where you were, mister'' she says with an amused smile

I sigh in relief, even though I still have to tell her about my secret training.

''Training'' I reply simply as I take a glass out of the cabinet and fill it up with water

''Ooh, what kinda training?'' She asks, with that amused smile on her face.

After finishing the glass of water in one go I simply reply ''Body training''

Putting the glass in the sink, I walk towards the window, sitting next to her

''Enough about me, what are you doing?'' I say back at her

''Oh, you know, looking out the window'' She also replies as I did

''*sigh* Fine, I was training my ninjutsu and body, happy?'' Today was the last day of this week of waterfall training

''Very. I couldn't sleep so I just decided to look at the moon and... think about things.'' Sara replied

''Like what?'' I ask the unnaturally calm and thoughtful Sara

''Like... how weird the word family is, you can be family by blood, but when people are connected by something deeper, it feels like a true family.

The Uzumakis treat each other like family, even though we are at most very distantly related. We all come from the same tree, but that tree's seeds have branched into millions of other trees.

We treat each other like family because we have been through generations of hardships together on this small island since the time of the sage of six paths. Like how I don't have a little brother by blood, but you are my little Uzumaki brother.'' She giggles after the last line

While she laughs to herself, I'm left shellshocked (Sara, thinking deeply!?)

Getting over my shock I reply ''Well, that's really something to think about. Now I'm gonna have some trouble sleeping'' We both laugh

''Well, I think I can go to sleep now'' Sara says as she goes to the living room

After one last look at the moon, I head back to my room to sleep.

Little did I know, that would be my final conversation with Sara

(Tomorrow, night)

498...

499...

500!

Finishing my 500th swing of the sword, I collapse on the ground, sweat all over my body.

Standing up after a few minutes, I walk over to a nearby tree and sit down, taking a break.

While resting, I think about random thoughts

(Weird, haven't seen Kushina for two days, last time I saw her, that old woman that works at the orphanage said she had to come with her. Training Adamantine Chains perhaps? She was proficient with it in the original.) Shaking away the thought that maybe she was sent to Konoha early. 6 months early is too early. She was sent to Konoha in the same year Uzu was destroyed.

Just then

*BOOOOOOOM*

A giant explosion erupts, alerting me immediately

(That's!-) Noticing the direction of where the explosion came from, I start rushing towards, Uzu!

(Shit shit shit, SHIIT. It's 6 months before even the start of the year! Why is it happening now!) I scream in my mind as I rush over there as fast as I could.

When the front gate was in my sights, I saw thousands of shinobi, fighting, In a ratio of 1:5, 1 being the Uzumakis I could see.

I turn right and run behind enemy lines, stealthily, running towards the outer walls.

Once I reached a specific spot, I summoned my chains and destroyed the wall, and quickly rushed inside.

Running through the streets, I see battles everywhere

(Don't tell me...) thinking of the worst, I increase my pace

After turning around a corner, I see it.

I stop dead in my tracks

The apartment building where I called my home... In complete.. ruins

(No... no no no no) Increasing my pace after every word, I run, and run as fast as I could.

The world goes silent as the only thing I hear is my heartbeat, pounding in my ear, every step reverberating.

Until I see her...

My mother, under the rubble, all under the waist.. crushed, blood splattered everywhere

Somehow, still breathing, she looks up at my horrified face

''Come.. closer'' she weakly says as I snap back to reality and crouch down in front of her

''I won't be alive... much longer so listen'' she holds my face with her once warm hands getting colder

''I won't be around to tell you these things... when you need them so ill tell you now''

''Remember to shower yourself every day,

Remember... to eat at least 3 times a day,

I see how you keep to yourself so... you don't have to make lots of friends, only a few good ones that you... really can trust'' I hold on to her hands

''When you find someone to love one day... make sure that they love you as much as I do and... you do the same to them'' I feel her hands, cold as ice

''And remember... If you ever feel gloomy or you feel like giving up...

Remember, mother always believes in you and...'' she smiles weakly

''Mother will... always love you... no matter... what...''

''I-!''

Her hands go limp and fall out of my hands, cold lifeless eyes stare at the cold, hard ground...

.

.

A flash of her smiling face cuts to the face of my dead mother.

As I look at her... corpse, emotions start to rage inside me

Anger...

*rumble*

The sky darkens...

.

.

.

Hate...

*rumble*

The winds howl

.

.

.

Despair

*RUMBLE*

The seas tremble...

Until I can't hold them in anymore

.

.

.

''AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!''

*BOOM*

*BOOM*

*BOOM*

*BOOM*

*BOOOOOM*

Lightning strikes all around the island, killing hundreds of enemies

Gigantic waves sweep all enemies on the shore into the sea with such force it leaves them as nothing but blood

Tornadoes appear all around the island, sweeping thousands of enemies into the air as they get ripped apart

.

-Disaster release: God's Wrath-

.

.

.

The screaming stops.

Deafening silence remains.

I fall into unconsciousness.

*thud*

*rumble*

*boom*

The ruins fall on top of me.
