54 Chapter 54

Completely opposite to Midnight's relieved expression, Tamaki and I were looking at the ground. I grimaced. All Might was my opponent. It seemed that he literally came to school early just to make my life harder.

Not only that, but he was less nerfed than in the other timeline thanks to Eri. He could breathe better now. I estimated he could fight for a couple of hours before needing to rest.

For the first time in a long time, I was afraid of failing.

"It's okay. I heard that those who don't pass can go through a summer camp," said Tamaki, looking at me and forcing a smile. There was a drop of sweat on his head.

"Are we just going to give up before it begins?" I asked, clenching my fist.

How could I give up after all the work I had done?

All Might was just a behemoth of a man. My ancestors, without quirks and with simple stone tools, hunted creatures like him. I am a descendant of a species that hunted the biggest whales in their home, in boats. They succeeded not because of power, but because they used their minds.

"What can we do?" asked Tamaki.

"Leave the thinking to me," I replied, inhaling deeply.

The rules of the game were simple: we either cuff the hero with the handcuffs we were given at the beginning of the test, or one of us has to cross the line.

If there's something you learn from Naruto, it's that you can use shinobi basic techniques for trickery.

'Transformation Jutsu. Clone Jutsu. I could always trick him,' I thought.

Standing at the testing site, a full city with high buildings, I walked alongside Tamaki.

"Did you eat the meat I gave you?"

"Yes. Though I didn't think you could get spider meat," he replied with a disgusted look, then looked at his hands. "But to think that I could stick to walls with this, and even form webs. It's not a bad idea at all to add them to my diet."

Some may say that I shouldn't have him eat insects and it'd be gross. But we're Asians, and I'm not being racist since I'm an Asian myself.

"So, here's the plan. You go and cross the line, and I'll stay and hold All Might back," I said.

"Huh? Are you sure you want to get your ass kicked?" he asked, his face showing worry.

"So that you can stop blaming me for letting you face Nejire alone," I replied.

"That girl can destroy a building in one shot. You know what, now you mentioned it, I think it's fair," he chuckled. "You know, I'm happy that my turn came first. Now it's your turn."

I'm going against someone with country-level strikes. If All Might was at his peak, destroying this site would be a simple matter.

"Just go," I huffed, frowning.

"Hope you have finished planning, for I AM HERE!" echoed the vigorous voice of All Might.

Tamaki ran and jumped to a nearby building, crawling like a spider to the top.

Time to show off my aura's skills. I hope that the teachers who are monitoring this test footage would have a good show.

I cracked my fingers. That would be the thought of anyone who saw me. But in truth, I was weaving hand signs.

Releasing my aura to give an illusion that it's aura power, I created a few clones.

Now, this was a basic useless Jutsu in Naruto. It had no physical power, and it had no mass which made it easy to detect it was a clone.

It was basic shinobi knowledge to detect this kind of clones.

But in this world, they simply didn't have basic shinobi knowledge.

A figure descended from the sky, landing on the road in front of me. His mass falling on the ground caused it to crack, dust rising.

All Might's silhouette stood up to his full height, his blue eyes glowing.

'I'm a bit afraid,' I thought to myself, keeping a stoic expression.

I and my clones crossed our arms while looking at him.

He stared at me for a long time, before turning his head to another clone, and then looking at another.

"You can copy yourself?" he asked.

"More likely playing with my aura to create lights," said one clone.

"You shouldn't have said that," he said, appearing in front of the clone that talked and trying to hold him. But his hand bypassed that clone.

"Like I was saying," the clone replied, "Manipulating light and sound. Good luck finding me."

Before he could launch a mass destruction attack, my clone and I ran in every direction.

During the recommendation test, it took me 6 seconds to finish a 100-meter race.

But now, with my aura and levels, I could cover that distance in less than a second.

My and my clone's movement speed confused All Might.

"It's not going to be that easy," All Might started punching in the air randomly, sending a raging wind that lifted everything in its direction, including the clones that were hit by it.

Meanwhile, Tamaki descended from another building and was running to the end of the test site.

"I guess I have to guard the finishing line," All Might said before vanishing from his spot, appearing running toward Tamaki.

I appeared jumping in the air, my hand almost turning yellow. I activated my Sharingan to anticipate All Might's movement and thrust my palm in his direction, releasing a giant air palm of 5 meters.

All Might ran to where I aimed my palm, and he got hit by it, but he didn't immediately fly. He turned, pressed his feet to the ground, and pushed against the invisible palm before punching it into nothing.

"That attack alone could be considered a powerful quirk on its own, Kenshiro Shonen," said All Might, looking at me as I landed on the ground.

Tamaki paused and turned to me.

I glared at him. Idiot! Keep running.

"I'm your opponent," I said, turning to All Might and pointing at myself. "Stop bullying the weak. And for clarity purposes, I'm not the weak."

Tamaki lowered his head, seeming to be affected. He took a deep breath, shook his head, and ran.

I looked at the number one hero.

To be honest, I wanted to have a 1v1 against him.

I wanted to see how far I had grown, and if I stood a chance against future villains.

I decided to use my ultimate move, now that I've improved my cultivation.

With both palms glowing, I thrust them in All Might's direction, hundred gigantic palms flying at him in an instant.
