A little after Alex and Xavier left...

"Well, that was certainly something... I know talent when I see it, but that's beyond just, talent." The beast commented.

Logan leaned against the wall, arms folded, a glint of curiosity in his eyes. "Kid's got some serious muscle, that's for sure. But pullin' off that much weight? Ain't somethin' I've seen before. Not on someone like him."

Logan knew that there were people that that had incredible strength, and their body didn't show it at all, but he didn't get the impression here. He doubt he was wrong, and usually, he knew his instincts were right.

"No... There's definitely something off here. Remember how the professor acted? I think he knows something we don't, Think about it." Scott added.

"As much as I'd like to think otherwise, you may be right..." Beast chided too...

Jean, her brow furrowed with slight concern for the child, chimed in, addressing the group. "There's something unusual about this, isn't there? Alex looked as if he was in complete disbelief, like he never knew he could do that."

"No, I think he knew..." Beast chided. The others looked at him.

"Let's think for a moment. We test his strength, when we do, he asked us to octuple it out of nowhere? Doesn't anyone find that, off?"

"Yeah? But he was strugglin' in the end until when he asked us to add more..." Logan added.

"Precisely! And after that? We turn on the new mode we recently developed, yet he continues to push. I personally think that he hit his limit around the 1-1 and a half ton mark."

"Just wait a minute, by your logic, he hit his limit long ago. How is that possible that he continued?" Scott chided in too. Now interested.

"That part I'm not too sure about, but I suspect he improved..."

"On the spot?" Kurt said getting the gist of what was going on.

"That's impossible... No one can just get powerful that quickly, right?" Scott added.

"Wait... Are you saying his strength could be ever increasing?" Jean said.

Beast turned towards her, his eyes sparkling with fascination, he responded, "Yes! That exactly it. However, I need to see more of him training to prove that theory right..."

"But let's say your right. What level of mutant would that even make him?" Logan said, causing the whole room to think for a moment.

"Let's not jump the rope just yet... His growth could be quick, but his limits could be small. Lets say he does this again tomorrow, then he hits his limits? He would be a beta at best.

'However... If he shows no signs of stopping. He might be an omega level...' Beast thought to himself.

Ororo nodded in agreement. "Still, Alex at the moment is likely a bit overwhelmed, I think needs time to understand what just happened too."

"Hmm? Gone soft, Ororo?" Logan remarked.

"No... But I've seen what it looks like for someone to not control their powers properly..." Storm responded calmly.

Kurt, with his enthusiasm barely contained, jumped in, "Still, I've never seen someone push themselves that hard! Maybe he'll break the records?"

Logan's skepticism echoed in the room, "Still there's more to it, something we're not seeing. No way a kid like him just pops out lifting 4 tons, that's if he could even lift that much before this."

Ororo, being calm and collected, responded. "Yes, but for now he needs guidance. This is likely a lot on him it tends to be. He has only been here for two days while being conscious, and we all know mutants aren't typically liked by those who never thought they were one...

The room got a little heavier after she said so.

Kurt, ever the optimist, suggested, "Maybe, but I got to know him a bit before this, and he seems to be a great guy, he just needs a little encouragement if push comes to shove! We show him the fun side, ya?"

Logan grunted, "Anyway, I'll keep an eye on him. My gut tells me there's something more to that kid than meets the eye..."

"I agree..." Scott added.

"Thanks... I guess" I said to Xavier. I didn't need the help, even though I was exhausted, it wouldn't take long for me to recover at all. At least I found a new way to increase my strength without tiring myself to death.

"It's of no problem to me. Just rest up well." Xavier said, leaving.

I entered my new room... The door creaked open, and I stepped into the room that was now mine in the X-Mansion I guess. The walls were neutral, a clean slate for me to make my rather short mark in. I shut the door behind me, feeling a sense of quiet settle around.

'Peace at last~'

My gaze swept across the space—a bed tucked neatly against the left side of the wall, a simple desk, a window offering a glimpse of the mansion's surroundings. It was sparse, but it had charm to it.

My only gripe at the moment would be that when I wanted to use the room to push myself to my limits, they would likely know too. But I can only do so much for now. I didn't have the funds to do what I needed yet, but soon I would...

With a sigh, I dropped myself on the bed. There wasn't much yet, but that was about to change.

'Today was interesting though. Not only did I find a new way to improve my strength, I could tell that my potential isn't as simple as I thought it would be...'

I checked my Panel...

-------------

- Striking Strength: 2489 ⟶ 8543 KG

- Grip Strength: 666 KG ⟶ 2341 KG

- Lifting Strength: 1436 KG ⟶ 4512 KG

- Dexterity: 6 (10 for a normal human male)

- Movement Speed: 79.29 mph

- Attack Speed: 456.8 mph ⟶ 546.2 mph

- Reaction Speed: 6.3 fold greater than Attack speed

- I.Q: 151

-------------

'The increase was substantial... It shows just how much certain stats boost one another too. My lifting power wasnt too far behind my striking power, but maybe because my grip strength increased, the ratio likely increased as well...'

I studied the changes, and I would test my theory later... Maybe an hour from now. my muscles and stamina should be at be fully restored by then.

I quickly grabbed my flip phone from my pocket, which was fortunately in working condition. But it was shitty. I had to get an upgrade soon, maybe I could even create one myself. Engineering and mechanics is a must...

'On that thought...'

I relaxed a bit. Waiting until the hour had passed. As said time passed, I realized it was just 2pm in the day. A lot could be done in that time.

'Time to head out.' I got up off my bed, and out the door. I walked though the halls. It was empty as I had thought. Since I had time, I decided I would go to the library first. I saw it on my way here... I could read up on engineering maybe...

As I searched the halls, it didn't take long to spot the library at all.

I entered seeing a vast amount of books to be read. I think I would be spending most of my time here. Knowledge is power after all.

Taking a look around I realized that the place was practically empty...

'It feels like its haunted or abandoned vibe, but very well taken care of though... Do none of the other kids come here to read?' A pity though, there's a lot to go over.

I perused the corridors, looking for my desired books. Finally I had found the section I was looking for, but as I looked further ahead, I saw someone...

'I guess it isn't as empty as I thought.' I looked closer, realizing it was likely a female. Taking a closer look it was, she had dark brown hair, but she also had a large streak of pure white mixed in, with silver eyes...

She was reading a book by herself, next to what would be the loneliest part of the library.

'Even in a place that had no one, she still sought more solitude...' It clear she wanted to be alone. I saw her turn towards me, likely feeling my presence. With my heightened perception, I got to see her features much better. She was quite beautiful as well...

In that small moment though, I saw her eyes raised with an expression that could mean she was surprised. She turned to back her head, as if she was willingly ignoring me...

'That didn't feel too good...' I said to myself. I quickly grabbed my desired books, around 5 covering most topics I need should be good for now. Finishing them within an hour should be fine.

I would still have more than enough time to do my workout too.

With that I walked over to the opposite end across from where the girl was, I ignored everything in my surroundings, then quickly perused the books, absorbing all sorts of information, and thankfully after studying before, my mind was soaking this all in without any effort.

Physics and math helped a lot with grasping certain mathematical concepts. But everything else, was easy. I checked the time ever so often, and luckily just finishing the last book I had to read.

'3 pm on the dot, not bad.'

I got up and placed back the books in their rightful location. Glad I learned about certain components. I could confidently say that with the right parts, I could build a device with the specs I needed.

But for now, a full on body exercise is next.

Today was as boring as always, the monotonous routine of the library setting in. But amidst the familiar silence, something felt, off. A weird sensation down my spine hinted that someone was watching me...

'Could it be them?' I thought tiredly.

I turned my head to investigate, and noticed a figure strangely positioned at the back of the library, someone I hadn't seen here before.

"He's new," I muttered to myself, catching his eye for a brief moment. Those eyes of his, an unusual shade of green akin to polished jade... I quickly averted my gaze back to the book in my hands.

If he was new, it wouldn't be long before he joined the ranks of those who made it their mission to make my time here miserable.

Trying to ignore him, I buried myself in my reading. But within a heartbeat, the sense of being observed dissipated. I glanced back only to witness him hefting several thick books—five of them, to be exact.

"Planning to read all of that?" I mused quietly, a tinge of curiosity piqued by his choice. It would take days, if not longer, to plow through those kinds of books.

'At least he didn't seem interested in ridiculing me like the others did...'

I saw him settling at the opposite end across from me, engrossed in his chosen books. Meanwhile, I focused on finishing my own book, determined to disregard his presence. Yet, curiosity got the better of me, and I stole occasional glances...

Observing him, I noticed something, odd... He flipped through the pages quickly, not staying on a page for more than a moment. It wasn't the casual browsing someone might expect either; his concentration was evident.

Soon enough, he shut the book, rubbing his temples as if burdened by its contents, yet his face didn't show it. Rising, he meticulously returned the books to their places before departing.

It was an... odd meeting, but given his lack of interference, I let it be. I doubted he'd return, but truthfully, I didn't entirely hate the company. I was a breath of fresh air when someone didn't look at me with the usual judgmental eyes...

Even if, it was indirect...
