It was the next day, but Jack was still going around as Cedric, With Heimdall watching his every move, which might really be true, he didn't want his secret to be out.

'Sigh, fortunately, mother is not in Town, or else, I might die by her hands, I am really tired of this thing' - thought Jack.

He was inside the base, people were trying their best to get something out of the hammer, Jack wouldn't admit it, but he would also sometimes try and lift the hammer, only to return disappointed.

Needless to say, Jack met up with Thor who finally showed some emotions once he saw who came to meet him.

Jack decided it was best to get Thor out of the base and have some chat with him.

"Thank you.." - Thor.

"Cedric." - said Jack

"Yes, Thank you for getting me out Cedric, I hope you can forgive my earlier behavior, you have tried helping me, but I have shown you nothing but ill will." - said Thor.

Jack smiled, he really liked this behavior of Thor, someone who had the guts to admit their mistakes and make things right.

"It is alright, Thor, I have already forgotten about it, and I hope you forget what I said as well." - said Jack.

Thor shook his head, denying Jack

"I guess you were right, maybe I have caused you guys more trouble than necessary, I wasn't acting responsibly, I was arrogant."

"Sigh!, it's alright, anyway, if you really consider me a friend, I suggest we go and have a drink, get something to eat while we are at it as well." - suggested Jack, to which Thor easily agreed with a huge smile on his face.

Seems like no matter what happens, Beer and Food are the two things that Thor will never reject.

Cedric took one of the cars that belonged to SHIELD and drove Thor to the familiar town.

They sat down and ordered for a meal, Jane and Darcy also arrived by then, surprised that Jack got Thor out of SHIELD, Selvig had told them about it, he said that SHIELD wasn't something normal people can mess with, but Jack wasn't normal, to begin with.

"It's good that you got him out, Professor was too scared to even go to the base." - Jane scoffed as she looked at Selvig.

Jack was astonished as he looked at Selvig, he had nearly forgotten this man, under Loki's command, this man was able to open a portal to outer space, which led to the destruction of New York.

"Hello Professor." - Jack called out.

"Hello, I heard a lot about you from Jane and Darcy, I couldn't believe my ears when I first heard about you." - Selvig happily talked to Jack.

Selvig was someone that considered science to be above everything, but whenever this wizard did something, he would be outmatched.

Cedric was the best example that there were things that were out of their reach. Selvig asked Jack many questions about his abilities and he answered them as much as he could.

Soon enough, the Afternoon arrived and Jack returned to SHIELD, leaving Thor with Jane and the others. It was better if Thor had a deep attachment to Earth, in the form of a lover.

Jack, on the other hand, was meeting with Coulson who had many things to ask of Jack, like why the hell would he take away the man that broke into their base the previous night, and why were they stopped from interfering with Doctor Selvig and his work.

Jack simply told them to leave things in his hands but Coulson wasn't having any of it, after dealing with Jack, he left to do who knows what kind of stupid stuff in order to bring things under his control.

As Jack was about to return to Thor, he recieved a massage from Matt, It read that he needed some help with some shipment arriving at the docks, it was supposed to be something that would shock the whole of New York.

Jack knew exactly what he was talking about, the black sky was here, everything that happened yet was beyond Jack's memories, the people belonging to the hand, now Jack was flustered, if he goes to Matt, he will have to go as Blitz, and if he changes into Blitz, Heimdall might find out.

There was a huge chance that Heimdall already knew about this, but he didnt want to serve himself on a silver platter.

Jack couldn't help but pull his hair in frustration, dealing with The HAND was something he wanted for a long while, he had a way to deal with the undying members of hand for good.

It was the killing curse, a curse that directly obliterates the soul of the host, forcing them into death.If this didn't work, nothing else might, maybe the reality stone or something like that.

After a bit of contemplation, Jack decided not to go, he didn't want to risk it yet, But he also didn't want to leave Matt hanging.

Jack took out a pouch from his side and enchanted it, it flew away in the next moment in the direction of New York.

'I hope this is enough to help him, besides, from what I remember, I might be able to meet Stick again in the future' thought Jack as he decided to sleep in and then meet Thor the next day.
