8 Chapter 8...Making Stuff,I am a genius
It was snowing outside while the residents of New York were wearing heavy clothing to protect themselves from the penetrating cold, in the same cold, an abandoned warehouse downtown was lit from the inside as if someone was up to something
If anyone were to come inside they would be surprised by what they will see
The inside of the warehouse was a sight to behold, Jack o lanterns were used to decorate the whole warehouse, providing lighting as well as a unique atmosphere.
Countless inanimate objects that seemed to be breathed with life were moving, crawling and flying all over the place, it looked like some kids dream.
Various robes were having a tea party on one corner of the warehouse, while another corner of the warehouse was filled with odd and broken artefacts, some defective and others not working.
This was the same old and dirty warehouse that was filled with dust a year before, but now it was filled with what a kid would call his dream items in it.
In another corner of the warehouse, Jack was working on a piece of clothing, a simple fabric bag, Jack was trying to use the extension charm to increase the space of the back,
This seemed to be his nth try judging from the few hundred pieces of burnt bags that we're thrown aside.
'Just a bit more' jack cast the spell again as energy rushed into the bag on the desk, The whole room was blinded for a while before He finally successfully made his first storage bag.
"Hahaha take that, I knew I could do it."
Jack immediately opened up his status and saw that the sync rate had gone up to 99 per cent, just short of 1 before it was fully complete.
The reason for the fast progress was because there was not much to gain from Cedric besides the six years of Hogwarts study and a whole lot of theoretical study upon which Cedric built his new spells and this cause the sync to reach its maximum value faster.
Jack couldn't help but smile as he took the bag in his hands and observed it.
"This bag seems much better than the other ones, it's not becoming unstable and has a space of 10 cubic meters. (i don't know how much that is, give me an estimate I am not good with measurements).
Now that Jack had understood how to use the extension charm, he could make as large of storage as he wanted, what would be a lot better is to make a storage ring, that would be a real project since the ring essentially doesn't have an opening for putting in the stuff, which means it would be a harder project.
Those were things for later since he just completed a very hard mission, Jack believed he deserved a prize.
"Ice cream, here I come"
Jack went to the fridge he had installed in the warehouse, which starts shutting off occasionally due to the use of magic around the area.
*Ring Ring Ring*
As Jack was eating his second tub of ice cream of the day, his phone started ringing, Jack quickly got up and ran to the room on the other side to pick it up.
"Damn stupid magic powers, what's the problem with you" jack was always reminded of how his phone would stop working if it was close to him when using a spell.
He looked at the caller ID, it was Martha, his mother who was calling him
"Yes mom"
"Son, where are you?!"
"Ah, I went out to get ice cream," Jack said, he nearly forgot that he needed to get home in time.
He can't experiment in his house since it used to cause blackouts in the neighbourhood due to the magic power.
"Well, it's been an hour so you better get back right now, your friends are all here For your party"
'Ah, the party, I nearly forgot'
Ever since the arrival of his friend Jean, Jack has become a lot more sociable and earned himself a whole squad of friends.
Today they were supposed to stay for games and stuff, he forgot since he was so immersed in his project
"Yeah, I will be there in time" Jack quickly got up and used apparition to arrive near his house. He was really lucky to have a mother who didn't question his apparent freedom.
Even though she was working close to home now, Turns out she is a scientist at Oscorp working on some kind of miracle medicine.
' I just hope she doesn't get mixed up in trouble'/That was one of the lingering thoughts in his head ever since he found out.
Changing back into himself, he quickly made way to his house just in time to see his friends fighting over who gets to play first.
"Oh, you came back, hurry up and go play with your friends while I make you guys something to eat."
"Jack!"
"You are back"
"We want pizza," said Jean as she looked at Martha with pleading eyes.
Martha chuckled at her and went back to the kitchen, Jack got back to his friends
"So what we playing"

and I added the extension charm through which storage stuff and tents that have extra spaces are made, same for brooms
these things are not taught to students, at least not until 6th year, so I just added it because it was needed, besides I have explained that Cedric had a good amount of theory and his father was also the kind if guy who wanted his son to be the best and stuff, so attribute everything to that.
