Chapter 70

Jack immediately appeared in an alleyway, the same one he had appeared in last time.

"You came!"

"Cause you called" answered Cedric, he turned around and was surprised to see that Banner wasn't alone, he had company with him.

Along with Banner was his girlfriend, Jack didn't know what to do, If Banner asked him to bring his girlfriend over, he might not be able to agree, or rather, his girlfriend might not agree to a magical contract.

"You said you had a place for me, Somewhere, where I can be myself," asked Bruce.

"Yes, I did" replied Jack.

Bruce looked at his girlfriend who nodded at him, they seemed to be thinking of something, Jack waited for Banner's reply, he wanted to see if Banner still had the dream of getting rid of Hulk.

From what Jack knew, separating Hulk and Banner was impossible as of yet.

"You must want something from me," asked Banner, he knew nothing in the world was for free

"hmm, to be truthful, I haven't really thought upon it, it's just that I know you are struggling and I want to help you, it helps the cause when I think that you won't cause trouble when you are with me," Jack said.

Jack truly didn't have anything he wanted from Banner, He just wanted to help. Though only later would he find out that this was one of the best decisions of his life as of yet.

"I read about you...a lot, they say you are some kind of miracle man, creating cures never seen before, heck, you have made the hospitals into some kind of museums, a hell of a lot cheaper than them." Banner laughed as he remembered the articles that seemed to sing praises of This man named Cedric.

"I did what I thought was best, if anybody has problems, they can come to me" Jack knew what Banner was trying to say, he had already received many such threats in many ways, some subtle and other direct.

The people in power didn't want his product or wanted complete monopoly of his products, part of the reason why he started selling his product was that he wanted to help people. Making money was secondary, if he wanted, he could have made the prices higher and people would still buy his potions.

Banner couldn't help but develop more respect for the man before him."It is an honor to meet you, regarding your offer...I believe in your words, but are you really not afraid of the military"

"Hah! the military, what do they have against me, they will never be able to find me, much less trouble you, I am not telling you to come to me to an island and live your days" Jack laughed as he thought about it. How could the military have a trial on him?

At least not on his resting place, they were all covered by the fidelius charms, he had covered them once he mastered the charm.it was a very good charm.

"You will be living in New York, in a mansion, right in front of the eyes of everyone, yet no one will be able to spot you, even if they did, you won't have to worry about it," said Jack as he held out his hands.

"What do you mean, how will you stop the military?" asked Banner, he was very confused.

"Let me just show you, it's better this way," Jack thought it would be best if he made a demonstration

Banner was hesitant at first but after a long breath, he decided to hold the man's hand, Banner, together with his beloved who was being watched by the military in secret, disappeared into thin air.

The military didn't have any time before it was left in the dust. Genwral Ross who was listening to the conversation couldn't help but roar in anger, someone had taken his daughter right in front of him.

His target also disappeared, and the magical wizard was behind it all. Ross immediately issued a city-wide search. Jack on the other hand laughed silently, he knew that someone was watching them, and possibly listening in on them as well

After a bit of prying, he found out it was General Ross and decided to mock the guy. He took Banner and His girlfriend to a secluded place.

and then pointed at a house and demonstrated his spell. The fidelius charm was a wonder, it completely convinced Banner about what Jack said.

Banner became very much interested in these arts practiced by Jack and even asked if he could learn them, though he could only sigh in resignation once he got rejected.

"I will arrange a big place for you both if the woman wants to be with you, I hope your love is true as hell, don't want her stitching about us to her father"

"I would never!" Betty Shouted at Jack, she couldn't believe what The guy said, and to think she admired him.

"Haha, everyone says that at first, love isn't everlasting, I hope your does last forever" Jack moved back as he tried to explain his reasoning.

Betty felt like the kind of girl who wouldn't bat an eyelid when betraying someone, Banner couldn't help but sigh, he really felt something for Betty and it was the same for her.

"Don't worry about it, I believe in her" Banner said confidently as he held Betty's hands.
