50 Chapter 50. A pizza

The classes ended and Jack, Peter and Gwen went for pizza

"You know any good places around here," asked Jack as he didn't know any, mainly because he didn't usually have the time to go and sit to eat.

Half the time, he spends eating his food while patrolling from the Hotdog stands and Deli places.

"Yeah! this one's just around the corner" said Gwen as she led them to the place

'Toto's Pizza place'

Jack read the name and went inside with the others,

"Looks like you come here often," asked, Jack

"Yeah! this place is owned by a former cop, dad always takes us here for the the the food" told Gwen as she passed the menu over to Peter.

Peter passed the menu over to Jack, Jack saw Peters face and immediately knew what was wrong, the guy was out of money.

Jack couldn't help but feel sympathy for the young spiderman, his whole life was filled with constant struggle as he battled every single mob in New York, while everyone treated him as a vigilante.

Jack ordered the pizza after looking at the menu and decided to pay for Peter as well.

'Maybe I can get him a job once I open my own company, let's wait until he becomes spiderman, I will meet him as one of my forms and formally invite him, I will also be starting my own company by then.' thought Jack.

It took fifteen minutes for the Pizza to arrive and by then, the three of them had become best of friends, or at least it felt like it.

Surprisingly no one among the boys was Gwen's friend which was weird since she was such an amicable person.

Turns out every time a guy talked to her, her daddy dearest would want to talk with the said guy and that would scare them away.

Jack chuckled at that, as he thought, cops kids didn't have a good social life, unless the father kept to himself

"One large Peri-peri thin crust pizza for my friend's daughter...and her two friends" the man who owned the place arrived with the pizza as he gave cold shoulder to Jack and Peter, Jack could only smile at that.

"Hey! don't be like that, they are my friends" reprimanded Gwen.

"Nice to meet you, I am Peter, Peter Parker" Peter gave the man a handshake

"Peter, my name is Toto, if you mess with her, I am gonna serve you a stale pizza"

"Nice to meet you, my name is Jack, Jack Silver" Jack also introduced himself, surprisingly the man kept looking at him for several seconds then moved away.

Does he recognise me from somewhere

"Don't worry about that, he used to be a pretty great cop and undercover agent, he goes into a trance whenever he sees a resemblance with some criminals he knew" Gwen explained as she took a bite out of the Pizza

"When I met him for the first time, He told me I look like the head of Honcho family, haha"

"Hey! I told you, you guys look like twins, she has black hair but everything else is the same," shouted Toto from the kitchen.

They enjoyed their lunch, after the meal, everyone exchanged their numbers and went their ways,

Jack paid for everything as he didn't want him to feel embarrassed. After that Jack turned into Midoriya and started patrolling around the place, it was at that moment that he received a notification on his mobile.

"Need help" was written, it was a message sent by none other than Yuri Watanabe. the next moment a location was sent by her and midoriya immediately ran towards the location.

Though when he reached the location, he immediately knew that something was wrong, the reason was his danger sense warning him of someone targeting negative emotions specifically on him.

'I hope everything is wrong, hopefully, Yuri doesn't pin a gun on me' thought Midoriya as he looked at the place marked on the phone.

midoriya didn't even want to think about Yuri, of all people turning against him like all the other policemen that did him badly in the central park.

Midoriya acted like he didn't know what was happening and snooped around a bit, he wanted the enemy to launch their surprise attack and try to hit him

'What's with the bad guys, always picking dark and murky places as hideouts' thought Jack
