129 Chapter 127...The Lizard IV

"Did you need something,I am guessing you were here for something?" Bruce asked, Jack hesitated, he didn't know if it was the right time to ask Bruce was help

"Don't hesitate to ask, I would be selfish to not help, maybe I will be able to get my mind off of this mess" Bruce took a large sip of his coffee and looked at Jack waiting for his reply.

'He is going to brood all day anyway, this will get his mind off this and I can get some help as well' Jack rubbed his chin as he thought long and hard before he told Bruce all the details

"Wow! I was gone what! just some months and there is a walking giant lizard on loose, well not anymore since you caught it, alright, let's go!" Bruce stood up and went for the exit

"How about we just use a portal" Jack suggested and directly opened a portal to his lair

"That seems like a nice idea, but how about we just enjoy the moment and go by car" Bruce suggested

"Oh wow! I wonder who's the broody one between us two" Jack joked with Bruce as he entered The garage with Bruce.

They were now chilling down the road on the car as the airbrushed past their faces, Jack was already accustomed to the feeling, the wind brushing against your face as you fly freely in the skies, Though Bruce was a different matter, he was a fugitive after he turned into the Hulk, always running away, fearing he will hurt people, or worse, end up being the reason for more of them to exist.

After a one hour drive they were back in Jacks lair

"It's been a while since I came here, still as unbelievable as the first time" Bruce said as he looked around the place.

"Yeah, lets go ahead and see our resident Lizard, shall we?!" Jack hurried Bruce to the Prison area.

"When did you build this place!" Bruce was surprised by the place, it was covered in rows of glass like prisons that shimmered with Orange light,

"Built it some time ago to local up criminals that I can help or those that are beyond redemption, I think it might even be able to hold someone of your caliber" remarked Jack as he led Bruce through the prison.

"This is it" said Jack as they came upon the cell for Lizard, various machines were reading his vitals and the Lizard was fast asleep

"I gotta say! Hulk looks so much better then this" Bruce couldn't help but say as he slowly neared the hideous lizard

"Sssss"

"He was a scientist at Oscorp, trying to make a cure for many illnesses,at least half of Oscoprs budget goes to projects like these, though you can already see the side effects, and no one ever gets to hear about it, I believe we can cure him if we get a sample of the serum he used,I have sent someone to procure it if possible or we will have do it the hard way" Jack told Bruce about everything.

He also reminded himself to snoop around Oscorp later and see in detail what his own mother was working on, he didn't want to see her turn into some kind of pathetic animal that goes rampaging on raw instincts

'That would be a disaster ' thought Jack.

*Whooosh*

The sound of someone using the portkey to teleport came and Jack knew who it was

"Hey Man! I couldn't get the serum, the security inside Oscorp is too tight" Said Peter as he sighed, he wasn't wearing the mask as Jack already knew of his identity, but then Peter realized there was someone else inside the cell

"Oh Shit! " Peter hurriedly turned his back on them,trying to hide his face, Jack chuckled

"It's alright Pete, This is a friend you can trust, he won't be telling anyone about you" said Jack as he gave Pete a pat

"Yeah,I am not keen on making peoples lives miserable, beside, you do good work out their, but...I don't know, why is a kid going around saving people and putting himself in danger" Bruce said, Putting his hands out for a shake

"Bruce..Bruce Banner,I guess you might have heard of me, or not since the military was really keen on keeping my existence a secret" Bruce shook peters hands

"Peter..Peter Parker, and as you said,I do pretty good work, so I guess it's my responsibility to do good, With great power comes great responsibility " said Peter as he greeted the man

"Wise words for a kid your age" Bruce said in Surpise, something in him also turned on at this moment, the words that the kid said sent a spark in his brain

"Well, My Uncle says this to me all the time, so I guess it just dawned on me" Peter said ,embarrassed when someone started praising him.

"Yeah...Anyway, how about you keep Bruce company and I figure out a way to get the serum, Yeah!" Jack said as he used the portal to exit.

"Cool" Peter muttered as he looked at the closing portal

"I know right" laughed Bruce

"I wish I could do that as well" Peter tried immitating Jack movements, to which Bruce could only shrug, he had noticed that Jack was using some kind of weird ring to open the portals,he had a bunch that was the reason for the portal as Jack was already capable of a different kind of teleportation .
