110. Tony

She didn't bother to answer Howard's greeting. You could tell that she was angry from this behaviour and King very tacitly went away from the lobby of the mansion.

'Spare me from that.' He rubbed his brows in relief and sneaked all the way to the garage. This is Tony's place.

You can always find him here tinkering with different things and trying to disassemble anything that he can get his hands on.

"Tony!" King yelled and looked around to find Tony in the heap of metal garbage in the garage.

"Uncle King." Tony yelled back and King made his way over to the place where the voice came from.

He saw a little guy with a small screw driver in hand and trying his hardest to unscrew some parts from a metal toy in hand.

There was dirt all over his face and even his clothes were full of grease and dirt. He looked like a little dwarf trying to tinker with machinery.

One thing to note is that due to Howard and Maria taking Super Soldier Serums to prolong their lifespans and also increase their powers. Tony is inherently stronger than his peers and can easily wrestle with a ten years old.

"Here is the phone that you wanted." King took out a phone from his pocket and handed it over to Tony.

He had taken the phone away from Howard since he wanted to give it to Tony then King thought about giving it himself.

'Make your uncle numbers and get more respect.' King looked at his outstretched hand and Tony who was still tinkering with the toy.

"Oi brat, the phone you asked for." King looked for a minute and saw no response. So he got close to Tony's ear and said again.

"Sorry Uncle, I was just busy. Thanks for the phone." Tony calmly put down the toy in his hand and took the phone from King's hands.

"Don't give it to someone else and this will be yours." King smiled and handed the phone over to Tony.

"Don't worry, I won't. I'm not a kid." Tony shook his hand and immediately started to operate the phone.

"Yes, yes you are a kid, brat." King retorted immediately and just sat down on a chair beside Tony.

"No I'm not. I can make things that kids can't make." Tony was immediately flared up and started arguing with King relentlessly.

"Then show me what you can do." King smiled and rubbed his head roughly to annoy him.

"Let me show you then." Tony huffed his nose and started to quickly dismantle the toy and tinkered around with various metal garbage to make a remote controlled toy on his own.

It took him about an hour to get it done but he was really able to do it and King looked at all this silently with a smile.

'True genius.' King couldn't help applauding in his mind when he saw this.

"Tony!" Howard came shouting in the garage and saw King sitting on a chair and looking at the heap of garbage metals.

"What you doing here?" He came close to him and asked. He was curious and looked to the side and saw Tony playing with a remote controlled car.

"Hmm, did you make it for him?" Howard was a little puzzled and subconsciously asked.

"No dad, I made it myself." Tony replied with some pride and a hint of awkwardness like he didn't want to talk to Howard.

"Oh, that's my boy." Howard laughed and went to pick Tony up in his arms like a doting father.

"Howard, why is your face swollen like a pig?" King finally looked at Howard when he picked Tiny up and asked.

Howard's face that getting closer to Tony stilled and he looked really unnatural. It's like he has gone dumb.

"Yeah dad, why is your face swollen?" Tony looked at Howard with some intrigue and commented relentlessly.

'Hehe, answer now.' King laughed in his mind evilly and you could see the happiness in his eyes.

'This guy'. Howard looked at King's happy eyes and his hands felt itchy. He wanted to smack King good.

"Nothing, I just got allergy." Howard saved the situation with a spontaneous answer. It was great answer if you think about it because allergies can have various reactions.

"I see." Tony was a bit suspicious but didn't voice it out and nodded his head like an obedient child.

"Nice save." King didn't try to even save him a bit of dignity and gave him a thumbs up while saying out loud.

"Shut up." Howard finally snapped and said annoyedly.

"What save?" Tony looked curious and asked King about it.

"Let me tell you." King walked forward with a smug smile on his face and Howard knew that his end was coming.

"You, shut up and Tony, can you help me with something?" Howard pointed at King and stopped him in his tracks before he diverted Tony's attention.

"What is it Dad?" Tony asked curiously while tilting his head cutely.

"Your mum's calling you and she needs you to do something. So be quick or you know her." Howard put Tony down and secretly sighed in relief.

"Okay Dad, see you uncle King." Tony waved his hand and ran off towards the main mansion quickly.

"See you brat and take care of the phone!" King yelled at Tony's retreating back and then looked at Howard.

Howard took this chance and surrounded King's neck with his arm and started twist him around angrily.

"Can't you cut me some slack in front of my son?" Howard said with a smile on his face that was full of anger.

"Okay okay stop and tell me something first." King laughed and got out of Howard's strong hold.

"Yeah what?" Howard let go of King and looked at him inquiringly.

"Am I your best friend?" King asked tentatively and looked at him carefully. He looked ready to do something.

"Yeah." Howard nodded in a puzzled way since he didn't know where this was going.

"Then this is something that a best friend would definitely do." King laughed cheekily and threw a bucket full of grease at Howard before he ran away from there.

"Fuck you! stay right there!!!" Howard was furious and tried to catch up with King but he was already leaving on his car by the time he even got remotely close.
