3 System Shop and Regret
Hearing the countdown, Max quickly ran to his bed, fearing that the next time he would find himself sleeping on the floor after his Evolution.
[3....2...1...commencing Evolution]
The next moment, marvelous changes started happening inside Max's body. If someone were to appear there, they would see Max's body glowing in different kinds of light, like an Aurora dancing in the sky on winter nights.
Fortunately, these changes were too insignificant for all those cosmic entities, allowing them to believe that some fortunate soul had come into contact with cosmic energy, leading to this change.
In another location, the Ancient One, who was guiding the students, suddenly raised her head to the North direction.
"What is this anomaly? How come I never saw it coming with the Eyes of Agamotto?" She raised her eyebrows a bit, but then returned to her usual teaching. As long as it wasn't any kind of dimensional threat, there was nothing for her to pay attention to.
In another location, Heimdall, who could see all, said after a moment, "What are you, friend or foe?" Then he returned to his usual peeping stuff.
Heimdall : "...."
Returning to Max, after a few minutes, he opened his eyes. He squinted as his new senses made the sunlight coming through the window a bit too much for his eyes. After a second, his adaptability kicked in, making all his new senses act as if he was born with them, making him feel like nothing remarkable had happened to him.
"I feel... normal. Is this supposed to happen, System?" Max asked as he felt usual.

"Hmm, it's both good and bad, I guess," Max muttered as he made his way to the washroom to freshen up.
"My eyes seem a bit different?" Max looked at his reflection in the mirror, which showed a cute kid with golden hair, milky white skin that seemed to glow, and his height, now a few inches taller than his previous self. But the most remarkable feature was his usually bright green eyes, which now had an aquamarine glow to them.
"Well, it's good though," Max muttered while smiling.
"System, show me my profile," Max said when returning to his room.

"Now, System, show me what the shop has for me." Max was eager to see the contents of the shop after the Lucky Draw and the remarkable functions of UP.

"System, explain," Max asked after seeing the unexpected content of the shop.

In the Artifacts section, he even found health potions and other RPG-style potions, unconsciously displaying a wide grin on his face.
"Hmm, full potion, huh? But it's quite expensive compared to all potions," Max said, as this Potion from the Tensura slime world cost 10 UP compared to the 5 UP perfect potion of the Overlord world.
[Full potion can heal both injuries and all abnormalities, compared to only the healing effect of the perfect Health potion.]
Max nodded as he then went to the Marvel section, where all kinds of Artifacts that appeared in both comics and cinematic version were available.
"Now, the next plan is training until I can control the powers of Mukluan rings. Plus, I can plagiarize... cough spread divine anime knowledge from my previous world and earn some money from it," Max thought of his next course of action.

The only good thing that happened to him was his unexpected evolution, which occurred due to the Mukluan rings' constant use, as the cosmic energies of the rings tempered his body after continuous usage.
"Now, time to get my maid. System, show me the location of Felicia Hardy and the time of the incident that changed her," Max said, remembering the pitiful past template heroine.
He was going to take advantage of the assault event that was going to occur to get acquainted with her, win her trust, and then, when she took the serum her dad left, he would add her to his team of superheroes, which currently now had two candidates, Spider-Man and his girlfriend Gwen Stacy.
