13 The Howling Commandos.

The Strategic Scientific Reserve Headquarters buzzed with activity as Captain America and his Howling Commandos waged their relentless war against Hydra's insidious grasp. Peggy Carter and Colonel Chester Phillips held down the fort, orchestrating the critical behind-the-scenes operations that supported Rogers' daring missions.

A large map dominated one corner of the room, littered with markers denoting the destruction of HYDRA facilities. With each successful raid by Rogers and his commandos, Carter and Phillips meticulously removed another blip from the map. It was a constant visual reminder of progress against overwhelming odds.

As the commandos struck fear into Hydra's heart, Carter and Phillips would later gather to watch the recorded footage of their missions. The flickering images captured the intensity of battle and the camaraderie that bound the team together. Peggy's gaze was drawn to a particular moment—Rogers clutching his compass, her image nestled within. A faint blush colored her cheeks, unseen by anyone but herself.

Rogers' transformation from a mere propaganda icon into a battle-hardened leader was nothing short of remarkable. His unwavering determination and newfound military prowess were evident as he led the charge against Hydra's strongholds. Dressed in a practical yet iconic uniform, he inspired both soldiers and civilians alike to rise against evil. His actions sparked a spontaneous act of heroism by a group of civilians, setting an example that the fight against Hydra was not one borne solely by soldiers.

Winter brought with it a defining moment as Rogers single-handedly broke a Nazi blockade, saving countless lives. With each passing day, Hydro's grip loosened as Rogers and his team systematically dismantled their operations. Schmidt's grand plans were repeatedly thwarted, thanks to the tireless efforts of Rogers and his comrades. And as the Allies gained ground, Rogers' path intersected with influential figures like Dwight D. Eisenhower, solidifying his role as a pivotal player in the war.

Yet, even amid these triumphs, an undercurrent of tension remained. Schmidt's obsession with Rogers and his unrelenting vendetta against the captain were testaments to the impact of Rogers' actions. The battles raged on, but the war was far from won.

On December 20th, 1944 Following information retrieved from a destroyed factory, Steve and the Howling Commandos find themselves outside a hidden research facility in Denmark. Getting in was easy, as Adam pretended to be a Hydra officer and spoke germen and fake documents. He was let in and taken straight to the head researcher's office. When there were only two people, Adam struck, knocked out the researcher, and took his keys. Then Adam snuck into the security room, disabled the cameras, and opened the doors, letting Steve and the others in. After fighting and clearing the place, Bucky found a hidden staircase that led to a steel door with multiple locks. Using the keys Adam took, the door was unlocked, and when they went to open it, two people jumped out, trying to kill Steve and Adam.

As two strong people, Steve and Adam still struggled to fight, until Steve got a good right hook to send the man fighting him back. Bucky and Dougan pointed their guns at the man, making him freeze, get out of his rage-filled mind, and see that the people who released him weren't German. While Adam was still fighting the other man and holding back what looked like claws from hurting him.

"Victor Stop!!" The man fighting Steve yelled, distracting the other guy enough for Adam to pick up his feet and use them to knock the guy back.

Now, also out of his rage-filled mind, the man Victor looked around. "Who the fuck are you people?"

Were you Americans, you asshole?" Adam says, getting up dirty from rolling on the ground.

Ok, since everyone has calmed down, let's talk." Steve says he's taking charge.

Good, now you two introduce yourselves."

"As my brother yells, I'm Victor Creed."

"I'm James Howlett." James says he made Adam look at the two and say, Oh fuck! seeing these two and knowing their future names, Wolverine and Sabretooth.

'Fuck, FUCK! means I'm not in the normal MCU. I'm in an AU; all my plans have to change if there are mutants or anything else that's different.

"Adam!" Steve yells, getting his attention. "You ok?"

"Ya, so what are you two down here locked up for?"

"Those bastards used us as test subjects due to our abilities," Victor says, showing off his clawed fingers.

"What are you?" asked Falsworth.

Only for Victor to growl at him. "Don't mind him. Every since we got attacked and captured in battle, we've been tested on and called so many things, but the one they used most was mutants because of our abilities." James says he is patting his brother's shoulder.

"That's stupid; you look normal, but since you have abilities, let's just call yourselves Meta-Humans." Adam says trying to change the future name of mutant is an ugly and inaccurate name for them.

"Hey Jimmy I actually like that better; it doesn't make us sound like freaks." Victor says

"Me too." James agrees

Ok, now that we've talked, let's get you out of here and blow up this place." Steve says

"I'm good with that, but you should know we overheard we were going to be transferred to a Jewish prisoner camp that's run by a German scientist that likes our kind." James tells them.

"Do you know the location?" Adam asked

"If you take us with you, then yes, we know." Victor says

"With the way you fight, we have no problem taking you with us, but are you up to it?" Steve asked

"No problem; both of us heal fast." James says

Ok, Howling Commandos, we've got another stop to make. Let's head out!" Steve yells as they set up charges and take some of the vehicles to try to sneak into the camp.
