Zod and I are making a few traps around a secluded area near New York at least 20 miles from the city.

Well, Zod is planting them around while I make them.

Jean and Hera are making sure no one else interferes and the Ancient One is ready in case they go to any of the sanctums which is the reason I am near the one in New York.

The way that Morlun got into this universe was by pretty much ripping a hole in this universe and he made a lot of eldritch beings happy since he gave them a tunnel here on Earth which pretty much pissed off the Ancient One and the other sorcerers so they are more or less weakening the New York sanctum in or order for them to appear near it in an earthly scale.

("Nothing seems to be happening") Said Jean in my mind as we more or less opened a connection that we will cut when they arrived.

Fighting inheritors that are empowered by the phoenix force and the enigma force aka the god of light.

(This is what I get for skimming the king in black storyline) I thought to myself as Jean went back to patrolling the area.

("Everything seems clear") Said Hera who is a lot more powerful now as she has trained with Jean and me although she did say that only her magical abilities improved since she is still dependent on faith energy which keeps her immortality although she did say that she is regaining her strength and she mentioned that she could at least lift over 50 tons at her best before. Right now she is around Peter Parker's strength and speed level but she can use her magic to increase her physical abilities and she draws energy from my dimension.

Thinking about Peter made me sigh at what happened to him

#FLASHBACK DAYS EARLIER#

"Peter rest you are barely even healed," I said to him looking him over, and even with my healing magic some of the injuries are pretty severe.

The cracked femur, spinal fluid leaking out, and even a cracked skull multiple fractures on nearly every bone on his body. Thankfully, I managed to heal the worst of it where were internal acid burns which from what I got from Morlun's mind he injected into his veins damaging his heart.

"I can't that maniac is still out there," He replied groaning in pain even with the pain killers in his system

"You don't have to worry about him I took care of him and before you say anything about killing him keep in mind that his body was a clone and he is still in another universe trying to regain his sanity," I told him which made him stop moving but he groaned in pain.

"What?" He asked confused at what I said so I explained about the inheritors or as much as I am willing to tell him but something I made sure to focus on is on how they kill spider totems.

"So they kill alternate versions of me and eat them in order to power themselves and they sometimes go after my family in those worlds," he said with his face emotionless although his eyes were still covered since he just got them brand new

"Pretty much although they are after me now which will make them come to this universe," I said to him while healing him again as even with the medical droids he still needs to rest so I just made him go to sleep.

"Nothing here," said Anissa through the intercom that I gave her since I am not letting her have magic yet.

Zod and her had an interesting meeting if the fact that Anissa was pretty much about to piss herself when she saw him again.

She is afraid of him and me to an extent.

I think some of the fear she had on me went away when she heard me having sex with Jean and Hera.

Going back to Peter he is in the fortress resting as he heals. I took care of his aunt and told her that Peter is staying with me for a few days to work on a very serious school project and I called Peter to make it official as if I went to pick him. She went to the house of one of her friends to have some fun which means I gave her a nudge to not arouse suspicion.

I look around but I see nothing until a portal opens or rather rips into this universe the sight of which makes me angry for some reason.

I see them getting out as Zod comes over to us.

Then I see a hungry-looking face in front of me as I activate the speedforce energy in me and punch it in the face.

(So he can fold space) I thought as I prepared for this battle.
