Chapter 165

“I'm sorry about that” Sharon beg on behalf of Patrick.

“No problem, I understand” Ben said and Sharon wonders how Ben was able to keep calm and she likes everything about him because he seems to have his temper under control.

“Thank you for your understand”. Sharon said and Ben stretch his hand towards her and she took it.

“Come sit here with me, I want to tell you that you can always trust me, anytime you need anyone to talk to you can always talk to me. You can always come to me if you need a friend, I’ll be a friend to you if you need help just call” Ben said .

“Thank you”.

Ben wanted to go but he turned back and ask her if is ok for him to stay here tonight because he didn’t trust that Patrick.

“Sure, that will be lovely but won't it affect your work?”

“Not at all, I can leave very early in the morning to the office”

 “Ok then, you can stay” She said smiling like a kid.

“Aright I would love to shower and prepare the bed for you”. Sharon said. But he refuse insisting on sleeping at the sitting room.

“Why?”

“Your are a woman, you should take the bed”. They were still talking when all of a sudden they had a knock on the door it was Patrick again, but this time he came with Paul and James.

“What are you guys doing here?”. Sharon ask when she open the door and saw them.

“Don't I have rights to see my wife?”. Patrick answer then walk inside and Paul follow him with James.

When Patrick saw Ben, he turned to look at Paul and James.

He gave out a big laugh. “Do you see that he is still here?, what kind of a man will sleep in a married woman's house?” Patrick said and turned to Ben.

“Young man, whoever you are I don’t care, am asking you nicely to leave this house”. Paul call Patrick aside and say, “you need to calm down”

“But why?”

“I remember that he’s the one that save Sharon” Paul reminded Patrick.

“So?, what if he save Sharon?, I have said thank you to him, he can leave my wife's house”.

“Just calm down ok, I don't think they are doing anything bad for now” Paul said not knowing what to say.

“Don’t tell me to calm down”. Patrick yell at the top of his voice.

“This guy can’t sleep here, I won't allow him” Patrick charge towards Ben but Paul and James held him back.

“Guy you need to calm down”.

“Let’s go”. Paul said and Patrick became more furious. He thought they are here to help him out, he has been helping them out ever since, he even fought a guy because of Christy for Paul. but now it is his turn and they are backing out on him.

“What are you guys saying?, are you telling me to leave this man to sleep here?”.

 Paul took him aside and said “Look, Sharon has been gone for months and even though she has to do something with that guy, don't you think they would have done it a long time ago?. if they're going to do something Sharon won’t wait to bring him to her house. And worst of it is, if they want to do something we can’t stop them, so just let them be”
