Chapter 144
Paul went home that night very late after settling between Sharon and Patrick.
“Where are you coming from this late and why are you so exhausted?” Christy confront Paul.
“You won’t believe what happened today. I’m just coming back from Patrick’s house and I have been Settling their issues since then”
“What happened to them?”
“Patrick wants a divorce”
“But why?”
“Because Sharon has been unable to give him a child”.
“But that’s not fair” Christy said “Why will he want to get a divorce because of a child?, let them just adopt”
“Yeah, you're right, I almost forget. I'm going to talk to Patrick about adoption tomorrow”
“You really need to talk to him about it, getting a divorce is not a joke” Christy advice.
Bianca took to the streets searching for Paul and Christy. “I'm really going to kill him if I find him” she threatened. she went about asking everyone she saw about Paul.
But none have seen Christy or Paul. She called his mother in-law and told her that she was unable to find Paul.
“Don't worry I will visit his office once more”.
“Mum what are you doing here? this is my office I don’t want trouble here” Paul said not facing his mother.
“where do you stay because you can't just run away from home”
Paul lift his head from his laptop to face his mother.
“No, I can’t tell you that”
“Why?”
“I now have my own house so you can stay in your house. I'm not coming back there” Paul told his mother.
“Why are you doing this to me Paul?. why are you so stubborn?”
“Christy is my whole life, no Christy no marriage” Paul told his mother.
“Are you serious?”
“Yes mum, I'm serious and as a matter of fact she's pregnant again for me”
“What?, then bring her home” his mum said happily.
“What did you just say?. I should bring her home?”
“Yes bring her home, I will accept her this time. Just bring her home ok”
“Mum thank you I will”
“Please bring her home and my granddaughter too. I want to see both of them”
“So what about Bianca what do you want to do with her?” Paul ask his mother.
“Well she is still your wife but if you say that you love this one and you want to die because of her then I have no choice”
“Is ok mum, I will tell Christy when I get home”
“Alright so how is business?”
“Business is fineis”
“Good to hear, I'll see you when you come back”
“Okay mum”
“Yes!, Yes!!” Paul was over joy because his mum has finally accept Christy. he couldn't wait to get home so he can break the news to her.
But when he got home and told Christy about the news she wasn’t happy about it.
“But why? my mum has accepted you now you don’t have to act like that” Paul said disappointed at Christy.
“Look it’s not as if I don’t like your mum but I don't want to go back to that house. I'm okay here we can only visit her and then come back”
“Is ok if you say so, it’s ok”
Paul visited his mum with Christy and Sharon.
“Welcome my dear, welcome” She said looking at Christy’s tommy. “But I thought you said she is pregnant?” she ask Paul as soon as the got to the house.
“Yes mum, she’s pregnant. Is just one month now.”
