Chapter 137
“I don’t see anything wrong with buying a house for my daughter in-law. I have the money I can do more than that”.
“I know, I didn't say is wrong, but why are you doing it only for Bianca what about Christy? she's my wife too”
“I know, but I said only when she gave me a grandson. That is when I will buy the house for her.
“I know but what about Christy? Surely she has giving me a child, your granddaughter. But you’ve not done anything for Christy. First you bought a car for Bianca you didn't even ask about Christy. Now you want to buy a house for her.
Still, you've not done anything for Christy for goodness sake she's the one who gave birth to my daughter your granddaughter”
“Did I say I need a daughter? I need a son a grandson give me a grandson. let her give me a grandson” she yells.
“oh.. mum you are so unpredictable. I thought you wanted another daughter and I’m here thinking that I did a good thing by giving you a granddaughter but no… you… you now need a grandson, hahaha” Paul laugh in frustration. “Tell me what has Christy ever do to you? why do you hate her so much?”
“Look I don’t hate her I just don’t need gold diggers in my house”
“Mum please stop, she’s not a gold digger, she’s the woman that I have come to love. There’s nothing you can do about it” Paul look at his mother and Bianca and left the house for them.
But he stopped at the door when he opened it and saw Christy, she was standing there with everything she bought from the market. She has been listening to their conversation and has refused to come in.
“ I’m sorry Christy” Paul said to her when he saw the look on her face. he then walked past her and went out of the house.
Christy walk into the house, look at her mother-in-law and Bianca and walk past them to the kitchen and start preparing the food.
Bianca and mother-in-law look at her and sign Mtcheeeew..
She finish preparing the meal and brought it to her mother-in-law. she ate and was satisfied with the food but her pride won’t let her say thank you to Christy.
“Come and take this plates away” she said and walk back to her personal room where Bianca is now staying because Paul send her away from his bedroom.
“Guy what’s going on? why is your mood like this?” Patrick ask Paul as they sat down to drink.
“Man I’m really tired. I am just so tired, my mum is pissing me off”
“Your mum is in town?”
“Yes she is and she has succeeded in turning my house into hell. as I'm talking to you right now she's just making sure that I end up unhappy man”
“Guy I feel for you,.. I feel for you… why is your mum frustrating your life like this?”
“That, I don’t know, I just don’t know” Paul said and start ordering drinks.
“Guy you need to take it easy, take it easy everything will be fine”
“When?. When... will everything be fine? when will my mum allow me to live my life?.. I envy you guys, I really do” Paul said.
