THE UNEXPECTED EVENT

Sarah was walking home from her evening class when she noticed a van following her. She quickened her pace, but the van matched her speed. She felt a wave of panic wash over her as the van pulled up beside her and the door slid open. A man reached out and grabbed her by the arm, pulling her towards the van.

Sarah tried to scream, but a hand clamped over her mouth, muffling her cries for help. She struggled against the man's grip, but he was too strong. As he forced her into the van, Sarah's mind raced. What was going to happen to her? Was she going to die? Was anyone going to come looking for her?

Suddenly, she remembered the self-defense classes she had taken last year. She mustered all her strength and kicked the man in the groin with all her might. The man howled in pain and loosened his grip on her. Sarah took advantage of the moment and bolted from the van, running as fast as she could.

As she ran, Sarah fumbled in her pocket for her phone and called the police. Within minutes, the van was stopped and the man was arrested. Sarah was shaken but relieved to be safe. She knew that she had narrowly escaped a terrible fate, but she also knew that she had the strength and the courage to fight back.
