12 Married

Carlos walked into his boss's office with a file in hand seeing his boss working so seriously he wondered if he should show him this.

" What is it? "Eric looked up from the documents he was reading to look at his assistant who approached and slid him a file.

" The woman you asked me to investigate. I found something else about her and forgot to include it in the report. It says that she recently got married and that night was her wedding n-night " Carlos almost couldn't complete his sentence as he watched his boss's face turn dark and dangerous. He took a step back feeling the suffocating aura that suddenly engulfed the room.

" Her wedding night? Ha " Eric chuckled his expression turning frosty as his eyes skimmed through the reports. He slammed it on his desk and stood up not bothering to take his jacket, he left the room and got into the elevator with a stormy look.

Meanwhile... In a good mood, Gianna crossed her legs, leisurely sipping her coffee as she sorted out some papers when suddenly she heard a loud bang in her office and the door flew open shocking her so much that the coffee spilled all over her.

She watched with a puzzled look as her boss stormed in locking the door behind him. His handsome face looked furious as he approached her, dragging her from her seat and pressing her against the wall.

" What's the meaning of this? " she met his gaze and asked calmly.

" Hah " Eric Chuckled " I wonder how a married woman is able to sleep with another man on her wedding night. Tell me... Did he not satisfy you enough that you came to me? You must be very demanding then " His lips curled as he waited for her reaction but she had almost none unlike as he expected.

Gianna blinked twice and looked at him with a raise of her brow " Did you... Do a background check on me? "

" Why? Am I not allowed to? "

"Hehe..." She laughed "You're my boss so of course you have the right to check on your employees but..." She paused letting her lips curl upwards " I don't see any reason you should concern yourself with my marriage or have this kind of reaction at the mention of my marriage. I haven't committed any crime or broken any rules now have I? "

" You lied " Eric gritted his teeth as he said this knowing that his reaction today was a little over the top. Why was he so enraged about her marriage?

" Did I? " She tilted her head as if she was thinking about it and finally remembered " Oh... I recall you asking about my boyfriend. Well, obviously... I don't have one "

Eric smirked, watching her calm and sly demeanor, he stepped closer to her until she had plastered her back against the wall, then he lowered his head a little looking straight into her big brown eyes "Maybe you don't know this, but I don't share my women"

" I don't remember being among those women you're talking about " Gianna told him.

" Then I should remind you " Eric used his fingers to pinch her cheeks together " That night, I warned you not to get yourself entangled with me. Did you think I was joking? Since you're such a disobedient kittie I guess I'll have to take care of the bastard"

" What do you mean? " Her eyes narrowed.

Eric gave her a smile, pulling away from her and stepping back "You'll find out" Then he left as abruptly as he came.
