Unknown point of view-

The bells ring to announce the arrival of another customer while I turn my head to see who it was and welcome them. I lost track of my thoughts because I was completely bewitched and standing there, stunned- it must be fate. It was her in the flesh, the girl who saved me a couple of months ago and the reason, the only reason I worked in this boring place. And here she is, at my workplace.

I was immediately struck by her beauty as I watched her march to one of the stalls. I didn’t mind her not noticing me, she was often a little absent-minded and it was kind of cute, among the many other cute little habits she had. The dull, boring atmosphere was suddenly illuminated. It was like the ornaments we put on the trees, during Christmas, to make it more festive and beautiful.

Her long wavy chestnut hair, loose around her face, going all the way down to her small waist, her honey brown eyes scanning the menu, she was hungry and I could tell by the way she was pouting her bow-shaped lips that were painted in a dark pink shade. I wanted to walk to her and tell her everything she wanted to know…but that might frighten her so I decided to hold myself back and stick to observing her from a distance whilst admiring her, just like an artist admires his art in a gallery or maybe how a predator watches his prey. She would know me, when I would want her to know. For now, I prefer being in the shadows as I observe her.

She was still going through the menu when her phone started ringing and she took the call, her pout changing to a wide smile as her eyes filled with adoration, making me scowl a bit. I wanted to be the one to make her smile like that- not someone else. She then playfully rolled her eyes before getting up and walking away, outside. She needed to eat- will she come back? I noticed that in a hurry, she had left her book behind, which she might have been carrying but I was too mesmerized by her beauty to notice. This was my chance- I hurriedly take her book from the table and run behind her, not giving a fuck about my manager asking to clean the floors.

“Excuse me, Miss?” I called out to her. She turns her head, looks at me a little confused as she is still on the phone as I show her the “Abnormal Psychology” book she left behind. Her face turned into a grateful expression as she whispered a thank you so much before smiling and crossing the road, her hair bouncing.

She looked in a hurry as I watched her, completely and utterly dazed by her…the way she smiled at me. She quickly stopped in front of that big university gate, as she looked around as if waiting for someone. So, if you're a student here, then I guess we will bump into each other a lot, my beautiful Thea.

“You’re mine, sweetheart. You just don’t know it yet, but you will know me when the time is right.” I smirked, as I walked back to the cafe where I work, with a newfound fondness in my head. I will be watching you from right here.
