The idea struck Jonah instantly. Her boss. How many times had they talked about him in the past? It was the perfect segue. 

"Was that Zim I saw with you just now?" he asked. 

Eden stopped blushing and her expression grew more animated. "Yes! How did you know?"

"He looked exactly like I imagined him. I could totally see him taking over the world with you as his unwitting henchman. Does he always wear his lab coat out of the office?"

"I'm pretty sure he sleeps in one," she said with a laugh. "I always leave mine there so I don't have to drag it back and forth except when it needs washing. I only have two but he has different ones for every day of the week. 

"I know because his initials are monogrammed in a different color for each day. If things get too repetitive at work, I never lose track of the days of the week because of them. You may not have noticed but today was Wednesday so the monogram was yellow."
